and is a ferrari suppost to be a good car? They are super nice to look at, super nice to flash but mecchanicly the are not known to last and be good cars for the track, specially if you beat on them. That said the Giulia isnt bad, looks good (although I think it looks too much like a bmw), never drove one or got in one but they say they are fun and fast cars but Its still a no go for me just cus its an alfa
They all say that over youtube yet I have never seen one of those Alfa’s and many of the C63AMG’s on the streets. Probablt because when you actually want to spend big money, you don’t want to spend it on a Alfa Romeo.

A handful will let their hearts rule their heads and go for the Alfa but the safer bet would see most people head in the direction of the Mercedes.
It was completely scripted to be exciting. Not a race at all. I'm not saying the Alfa isn't quicker around that track, but that wasn't a real race. With all of Tiffs experience he doesn't go sideways around corners and "out-brake" himself.
My Guilia Ti sport is the best sports car I’ve owned! The balance is amazing and she makes me feel like a hero. Treat her smooth or rough you go right around the corner and realize you could’ve gone faster.

Unfortunately they made a mistake in their description of the Alfa, the QV is not a suped up version of the Guilia, its actually the Default as built spec for it, the other lower models came after, its a small quibble but it matters its like saying a more accurately the AMG C63 is a suped up version of another platform not the other way around =)
c'mon man, italians were good in the past , but they don t have the resources today. Look at any categorie of cars . F1 -rubish ; Hypercar- not as good as the competition ; Supercar - again , old Mclaren 720s is faster then the new Ferrari pista and the new Porsche turbo S will demolish thw Ferrari, SUV -s ...; Super sedans -nothing there ; We have this Alfa in the baby super-sedans class, but that s about it. Afordable cars for common people - nowhere to be seen . When cars were soul and passion , Italian s were masters . They were . Credit to them . But we live in a wold where cars are made from brains, mathematics and compromise .The italians struggle to survive .
Germans, Americans and Japanese are about industrial scale..English are small number bespoke producers and Italians are about design, charisma and ingenuity. That is why Ferrari is the oldest car maker and never spends a cent on Advertising. It’s not always about industrial might.. let’s take an example, the 959 was a technical marvel, then you had the Italians with the F40.. a brutally simply light weight race car .. I know which is more coveted between the two today.. Italian passion and design goes way past the sum of its parts where it creates a personality..germans have never been able to do this. All car manufacturers go through phases and there was a stage when RX-7’s punished the Porsche 3-0 in our Bathurst races in the early 2000s.
The Alfa QV can be had for around £30k used with around 30k miles (roughly 3 years old). Depreciation wasn't very kind but for that kind of money you can't possibly go wrong if you pick a good one. I would even say it is a bargain.
Wow. That was so enjoyable to watch a great funny review of the two cars I myself looked at a year ago. I bought the Merc but this review confirms that the Alfa is just as good in a smaller balanced chassis and more fuel efficient car. In the end, I fell for the V8 as they don't make as many any more. I made the opposite decision after testing both, but I'm not going to criticise your choice. They're both fantastic cars and I'd have been really happy with either.
Wrong its lighter but still slower. Looks are subjective. C63 looks better. C63 has more torque. Sounds better. More comfortable. More fun to drive. Can come as estate etc etc
Miss credible car drivers reviewing cars on main stream TV. Chris Harris is great and I like top gear for the fun aspect but Plato and Tiff have driving pedigree which you can respect and listen to when it comes to performance cars.
Both are awesome cars, I went for the C63s Estate. Because stationwagons with performance are just more special. But also Mercedes has a great used car warranty. Not gonna track the car anyway so that little more trackperformance is not so important.
