This was a metal detecting hunt where we was detecting at a civil war battle site from 1863. I found a really cool bullet a soldier pulled from his rifle. I also found a bullet first for me.
Nice hunt fellas! The snake was a Black Rat snake and the turtle was an Eastern Box turtle. I have always heard the bullet extractor called a worm. Congrats and HH!

Hi Mike! Concerning the lock and chain, a lot of hunters use that to lock up tree stands. That tree could have fallen off season with that chain on there. My 2 cents. Great vid! Thanks

The Chain And Lock Could Be From A Hunter Who Might Of Used It To Lock A Tree Stand To The Tree, So It Wouldn't Get Stolen

How do you recommend I look for spots like these. I’m new to the hobby and am excited to find things!
I use the internet to research old areas. Looks at maps online from the 1800s. They show where homes used to be. Good luck !
