Looks freaking badass! I used to love this version but the BOBF version has grown for me

I think his new style the black red and green looks a lot better especially the newer version with the pads from the book of boba fett suit.
I absolutely love the new armor
Don’t get me wrong the Og armor is phenomenal
But the new armor has grown on me so much that it has just slipped into first place

The texture is accurate to the mando season 2 repainted Boba. For some reason in the book of boba they repainted him again kinda disappointed me I like the texture more makes his armor super subtly unique

The armor is actually pretty accurate to the show, the lighting makes it looks smoother then it actually is.

I really like the two pack Boba and the Boba from TBOBF but this one feels like a weird and kinda unnecessary in-between, still good though, but the throne is what makes this one special
i think it would feel better if the paint job was more accurate to the show, would feel less like a repaint and more unique

Not a fan of the texture of the armor here. I do love this version than the BOBF one, so I'd love to kitbash in the future, putting BOBF's armor onto this one.

Hi Justin. Hope you are well today :) This is the Boba I ordered and had to have it mainly because of the fantastic looking figure and throne. The throne scene is in the Mandalorian as well as Book of BF so it feels like it covers both shows to me. I love how BF looks in this repainted armor and I especially love the throne. The only thing I will be adding to this se it a base under the throne so Fennic can stand next to BF while he’s sitting on the throne, the way it looked in the TV shows. Thanks for the video 💎😊

How did you head the on? I just got mine today and for the life of god I CANNOT remove the bottom black piece so I can get the head sculpt on.
You need to grab the top of the ball joint and pull it
@@JustinsCollection The top of the ball joint popped out of it though 🥲 I don't have anything to pull it out by.
Did you managed to finally get it out? Same issue with mine. The bottom peg is fixed af and cannot remove it...
Actually by the time Fett takes over jabbas palace in this armour that he got back, lines up with Mandalorian which is 6 years after Jedi.
he was with the tuskens for about 6 years could’ve gained age weight.
(And out of the sarlaac may he was just bloated from being inundated with stomach juices lol)

The scratches leaving the silver under paint is screen accurate. I have painted quite a few Mandalorian S2 helmets and can confirm with high fidelity screen shots from the show the textures on point and as well the scratches along the visor etc are all accurate.
Not based off the reference I’ve seen but glad you have different shots
@@JustinsCollection Mandalorian season 2 episode 7 when boba steps off his slave one and the close up shot happens pause and zoom in mate the scratches are there 🍻

When you pair this Boba Fett + chair + Fennec Shand...... absolute heaven. The space required is my only concern. This will not sit in the detolf, so you need to have a suitably large space to properly display the figure+chair in all its glory. Thanks for the review Justin. I always look forward to your great reviews. :D

Everything you said about Boba is EXACTLY how I feel. My favourite character since I was 7 years old. Pretty ruined by the book of boba fett. But this look is my favourite for him too. A perfect evolution of the baddest bounty hunter. I’ve just ordered this set. It will be my second hot toys after the chromed Din and Grogu I got a little while ago that blew my mind. Can’t wait. Great review.

Extremely nice look and figure. Not quite as iconic as the two OT Boba looks (both ESB and ROTJ) but still very good.
Dont know how they managed to fck his BOBF look up so much...which was the worst hes ever looked imho. Hooefully hell get a better look when he (also hopefully) appears in Mando Season 3 again.

05:39 I agree, I prefer the multi coloured look of the jet pack! I’ve built a Book of Boba Fett Mega figure out of Lego using one of the Lego Helmet sets to base the size on. I built the jet pack in the multicoloured design rather than green. It looks amazing!
10:48 Yes! Mine too! I don’t really like the Book of Boba Fett or the Mandalorian shows, but Boba looks so bad ass in his repainted armour and black robes! More so than either of his original trilogy looks! 😂

Hey Justin if you go back and watch the episode, his armour is not smooth and it is weathered a bit ! They got it right go back and pause at 43:05 and you will see it is not smooth.

Can't wait for mine to come. Going to have Mando on his left and whenever Fennec gets released / arrives she'll go on his right. This is my favorite version of Boba, the black just makes him look so much better, imo.

This was gonna be a day one buy for me until they announced the BOBF version which looks similar but, IMO, much better. Too bad it doesn’t have a headsculpt though.

This and his classic empire look are my favorite 2 looks for boba, dont really like his bobf look with the red boots and shrunken chest armour.
Neither do i like the rainbow jetpack and red gauntlets look he had in rotj and much prefer the full green empire look.
This repainted look with the black undersuit with some of the tusken rhobes still in there a bit is just very clean looking just Like his empire look.
Now if we include the comic and cartoon looks too.. his droids look with the sand colours is also up there.
Just my personal thoughts on the boba looks.

@@silverboz The OT Fett wasn't much of a character anyway, he had only a couple of lines of dialog and never really displayed anything of outstanding bad-assery, he also nearly died like a chump. Temuera practically had to reinvent the character because he mentioned during one interview there was little reference for him to work with from the original films.
@@silverboz Yeah, because OT Boba had extensive character development and voice lines. 😂😂😂. Some of you guys are delusional. OT boba was a walking set of armour with 4 lines who got whacked by a blind man into a giant plant and not at all the delusional great character you made up in your head. Temuera was awesome In mando s2. Jon favs messed up the bobf and the writing for it. So if the character doesn't behave a certain way it's the writers issue.

Temuera Morrison isn't necessarily "bigger" or more imposing than Jeremy Bulloch was. Jeremy was 6' while Tem is barely 5'7". Tem definitely is thicker, but Jeremy was always taller.

There are so many things I like about this set. BUT I don't think I'm a fan of the "Repaint" on his armor. It looks kinda cheap & cheesey lol like he used brushes instead of a spray gun to paint. He still looks good but the fact that we're gonna have so many different options for Boba I guess I can live with out the throne room 😔🤣 The Boba Fett from the actual show looks WAY better IMO.

Got rember true beskar won't just fall apart would take along time as noticed by storm trooper who was thier for years didn't have his armor melt even thonit was basically pla enforced carbon fiber
Looks like a great figure. Temura Morisson is not actually a tall guy hes around 5"7, so the figure being slightly shorter is accurate.

I'm having a lot of trouble removing the neck peg to fit the headsculpt - any advice? Awesome review btw!
Maybe use some pliers and gently remove the neck from the ball peg. Be careful not to scrape it!
I had a pre-order for the regular version from ToysWonderlands that I placed 3 weeks ago. I just cancelled it because I noticed the price for the figures dropped. The regular is still in pre-order but the special edition is in stock. By cancelling and switching from regular to special edition I save 50$ and it's going to ship now. I think ToysWonderland dropped the prices because many people are probably skipping this one and waiting for the Book of Boba Fett version next year and unlike other Hot Toys in the past they didn't get it months before Sideshow Collectible.

Kinda wish I bought the throne version now just for the extra stuff. He’s a great figure. My only complaint is the strap on the knee armor snapped off. I ended up having to super glue it back on.

I wish in the book of boba fett they kept the dark green colour of the armour from the mandalorian and that they didn't change the shape of the helmet. Really don't understand why they felt the need to make the helmet thinner and having a taller dome on top, especially if it's beskar too like how did he reshape it?

It is beautiful but I think I'm going to hold off until the next one releases next year. I like the battle damage on it a lot more. It was difficult to pass on a second Temuera Morrison head on this pack though. Keep the snap I think it works fine.

I’m totally getting him but I will say the repaint armor you see in Mando s2 is smoother, as if he sanded down the old paint and painted on new paint unlike this where it’s painted over it, even the other one they have coming out from Book of Boba Fett is smoother but still sick
