  • We forestry mulched a 3 acre lot so the owners could get ready to sell the property. Forestry mulching is a quick way to clean off a lot. We might have almost mulched up the GoPro. . . .

You are wasting time with a Fecon head. I left a DCR and HDT to switch to a Prinoth 450s. It is a far more productive head and it processes mulch faster with less back dragging then the DCR.

Wonderfully entertaining video of you and the crew taking care of business. The editing and the photography were the usual superb; those close-ups of the Fecon at work are mesmerizing. Watching you on this job reminds me of the old saying: “always leave the place looking better than when you found it.” But there was something you mentioned early on that said volumes about you as a boss and as a person. You mentioned all the days of rain and how you managed to keep the guys busy with work at the shop. The impact of the weather on a small contracting business is substantial. You had to be taking an enormous financial hit, and it would have been so easy to lay off the crew and save your money. The fact you didn’t speaks well of you both as a boss and as a man of God, someone who doesn’t leave his religion behind when the service is over. You are paid back over and over by the devotion of your crew, who always do a first rate job and go the extra mile. Loyalty begets loyalty, and in the words of St. Paul, as you sow, so shall you reap. You have sown well.
