He is priceless. A very poetic and meditive study of Mr. Papadimtriou.

Rare to find someone who spends time to explore those places we just rush by, which is the point I guess. Deeply engaging comments, well made film. Love it.

Thanks Gordon - have a look at my film The London Perambulator as well (on this channel) - a deeper exploration of Nick's world

Hi John, Actually i have seen it and written a term paper on it with respect to Digitalization and Hyper-modernism. The theme was that Deep Topography was the exact counterpoint to peoples digital experience. Completely loved the film. Have you read any of Tim Ingold's work? History / Life of Lines. I rather think that they may inspire you in some way. Press on! Brilliant!

@@adolflenin4973 Yes I know. You have no idea how many discussions I have had to suffer on which spelling to use. Unfortunately my academic department made the choice the they did.

What a portrait and description of Nuck Papadimitriou and National PsychoGeography. You need to nominate a day to celebrate psychogeography

Nick, please do keep it always 'excruciatingly emotionally' (and factually) true. People look, it's appreciated - I try to reciprocate, in my small way. It is fascinating. Just glad that there is an alternative to... junk. Organically, it will live on, however. Thanks.

Was watching The London perambulator, for about the 20th time today, always struck by the infuriating range of Will Self vocabulary. Describing Nick as having a "ready brek penumbra" bastard! I'd give my right bollock for that level of articulacy.

A remarkable man, those days of the ants I remember well, he describes it perfectly.

Great vid. Nick's work reminds me of the artwork of George Shaw. I can't explain why the edgelands are so moving, but they are.

The music makes me think of the cheese shop sketch on monty python and I can see two men on pinstripes and bowlers locked arm in arm dancing I want to shout "will you stop playing that bloody music"

Nick Papadintriou, it is as if he actually inhabits the layers of time and space wherever he walks. And he shares his experience in a really captivating and inspirational way. It's like, hey, follow me, if you'd like to, and I'll help you get away from all the bs of our consumer capitalist hyper surveillance world in a meaningful way.

Oh er... I regret making that remark and always expected some flack for it. I guess I'm subject to modern stresses like everyone else. Sadly the camera - on this occasion - didn't lie.

Not really true, Bratty: I did do some field research for Book of Dave but Will is quite capable of putting those boots on and when he does, he really goes for it!
