Well said👍I was born in London,to parents from County Kerry,Ire,so naturally I follow the Irish team wth great interest!☘️But anyone with a sense of what is right and a ear for a good tune&it's History just has to love the Welsh National anthem(and I also enjoy the Scots"Flower of Scotland anthem"also ). And one of my "Ol man's" Sister's emigrated to NZ and absolutely loved the country and the Maori people! .So the "HAKA"always has me transfixed!!👍
Seeing all these people having a good time together in a stadium that's brimming with laughter, pride and joy makes my heart ache during this pandemic.
I'm a proud Englishman Max, but God bless you my friend. I listened to your work all of my life and now, 45 years on, you still bring a tear to my eyes seeing you in front of the world singing loud and proud. Thanks for the laughs and the tears. Oggy Oggy Oggy...
Me mother in law was WELSH,,,, never a more just person walked among us,, she didn't like the English hypocrisy against us..made us stronger , but S. F. are finished....they don't represent NATIVE IRISH.
I am Welsh , however have lived in Canada for almost 40 yrs, I remember seeing Max Boyce at the Blackwood Carnival, I was a youngster, then I met him at the World Cup...I am so proud to be Welsh.
Max Boyce, 70s/80s top comedies, was great, so funny and loyal to his Country as most Celts are, am a Jock and proud to be a Celt, bless you my cousins.
Even though I'm a proud Englishman, noone sings like the Welsh! Max Boyce is brilliant. You've got great people, countryside and Penderyn whiskey! Great country. God Bless Wales. Except when you play England 😂!
Oogie Oogie Oogie as the Welsh Haven Holidays version of the Hacka I reckon. I could see Bread of Haven and Caws amongst the traditional Welsh meals on the burger vans menus. The meals would fly out like a dragon whipping off with some Welsh cakes...🤣🏴
Some of my best memories are listening to this Man. My best friend and I used to sing along or singing it together. Sadly I lost him to cancer 2 years ago. I miss Him and I miss all those good times we had that seem to have been lost in the passage of time. Those were great days.
There's nothing like the sound of Welsh voices to fill your heart with pure joy. I'm Scottish but lucky to live close enough to visit this beautiful nation often.
Best video on you tube my mam was Welsh Godbless her and she adored Max Boyce and the Rugby she was born in Tonypandy but met my dad and lived in Scotland 🏴🏴🏴🏴
Welshman through and through here, fluent in the language and educated in welsh schools. Moved to an English Uni not long ago and not far away but boy do i miss the welsh and this reminds me of home so much. Cant wait to return in less than 2 weeks for a short stay!
Not surprised 😂 we went 12-14 can't remember if a few tests were capped) unbeaten against England at the old arms park and the first win they got was because the week before the game and in the coach over their coach made them listen to our anthem full pelt on repeat to condition them. At the time the only test nation to hold a undefeated streak was the all blacks and other nations agreed 85% of Wales wins at the arms park were the anthem, like most countries anthems against the all blacks were half hearted as everyone waited for the Haka. That 90s period the anthem spell was broken by all teams so we built a bigger stadium 😂😂
I had forgotten just what a great performer he is, I saw him twice in my home city of Southampton, and I was till humming his songs the next morning. "Duw it's hard" still bring tears to my eyes.
I was there! Met the Man in the Balmoral Hotel in Edinburgh the Saturday before Wales thrashed the Saesneg 30-3! He talked about his hero Dai Morris, Wembley 1999 with Tom Jones and the Big One next Saturday. Lovely man, filled with enthusiasm!
The Welsh people are fantastic I went to Cardiff to see max Boyce a few years ago and got to meet him at the end of his show totally brilliant I was the guy with the kilt on
As an Irishman i just love Max Boyce. I especially love his story about blind Irish referees. Absolutely hilarious. I dont know who makes the decision but it should be ' SIR MAX BOYCE '
AMAZING. Max and all the home Crowd Together WOW. What a Combination the Atmosphere and the noise inside the MILLENNIUM STADIUM. There's no other venue in the Six Nations nothing Like It It's Just Incredible. keep up the good Max.
In Mother's Day for my mother in law. Best evening I spent with you and dad was listening to Max and many Welsh choirs listening to the wonderful music of Wales.
Well, what a find! Purely randomly but I have already watched this four or five times over the last two days. Captivating! You can bet on the Welsh for a good sing song!
Inspirational stuff from Max, the choir, the Band but mostly the people in the crowd ❤ love Wales Rugby 😊 yes, I'm Welsh 😊 what a difference to what we have today 🥹

Every Christmas my Mum and Dad would buy me an assortment of annuals like "The Beano", "The Dandy", and "The Guinness Book Of Records". But one Christmas I received something brilliant, amazing and fantastic all in one! It was " The Max Boyce Annual - I WAS THERE"!! I think I got it in 1979, so I would have been 8 years old, does anyone else have this annual?
It's natural, in our hearts, from day one, passion and love of our nation. You can't buy it, try to achieve it, or study for it, it's just there, if your born Welsh, from Wrexham to Llangefni to Newtown to Aberystwyth, Llanelli to Cardiff, its there. Other peoples, just dont have it, just dont get it, they have to TRY to be passionate, soulful, Welsh people have it in buckets, especially those wonderful people of the Welsh valleys of Treorchy, Aberdare etc, fantastic!
''The Welsh team's full of accents now, strange and somewhat new There's Kiwis and Australians to mention just a few. I think we'll have a Japanese before the World Cup's end 'Cos Shiggy Konno's father works for Sony in Bridgend.'' Pure, unadulterated genius.
What a character Max Boyce is.Such a funny, talented, honest "downto earth"performer" and f##king proud of his culture and rightly so he should be!!.👍👍. Ps..I was born in London to Irish ☘️ parents,so I'm reasonably unbiased!!
Love this. I'm Scottish but the Welsh singing at the rugby is just one of those things that make international rugby what it is. Like the haka.

I'm English but with solid Welsh roots on both sides of my family and proud of them. My mother's funeral was on St David's Day and I wore a daffodil.

Max Boyce should be our version of the haka. Nothing oozes Welsh pride more than this man ❤🏴
Oogie Oogie Oogie as the Welsh Haven Holidays version of the Hacka I reckon. I could see Bread of Haven and Caws amongst the traditional Welsh meals on the burger vans menus. The meals would fly out like a dragon whipping off with some Welsh cakes...🤣🏴
They slide it back, when Wales attack,
So God can watch us play...

I'm from Cardiff. My mother loved Max Boyce and we had an LP that often was played. The original "Hymns & Arias" is so funny; always made me laugh.
I'm not even Welsh (my husband is), but this has me crying! I love Max Boyce!
There's nothing like the sound of Welsh voices to fill your heart with pure joy. I'm Scottish but lucky to live close enough to visit this beautiful nation often.

Pride & passion in Cardiff is a joy to behold. Just wish Max was the intro at every game; a f*****g legend!
