Thank you, a great video that gives a realistic idea of how to set up a home studio. The first professional that hasn't said you need a truck full of "C" stands.
This is so well informed and exactly what I need as I am a beginner photographer and am in the process of setting up one of my rooms as a studio. Thank you so much Jiggy. I wish you would do one on the best wall colors to use instead of using backdrops
Great timing Jiggie and great contents for beginners in the little home studio like I have been playing with lights currently. Clear and precise info. You are doing a great thing for us . Thanks a lot. Keep up the great work Boss!
Thank you, these videos are so educational, I now understand more about the mounts of the modifiers and actually a lot of things you explain about the set ups
I love watching your video because I’m really into light all typed Rembrandt split clam shell and to shed the portraits you do with your wife are beautiful she do so good and how u coach her shows us all how to talk to our subjects and helps those who model too to understand how much too move and the tips to look into light and explain that it’s nuthing like a cell phone hands eyes emotions are very important lol just all around good content and showing you don’t need a big space to do this love watching keep it up would love to show u some of my work on ig if you would look at it I would appreciate it
While you were discussing about the lightstand, I remembered having encountered that kind of stand and I think it is called air-cushioned or something like that. Nice video by the way. Was also setting up a small home studio a while back and I used 2 speedlights and 1 studio light, problem is I don't have enough modifier. haha
Thanks for this video! I am deciding on what light stands and soft boxes and or umbrellas to buy, and this video helped me to make some informed decisions. Keep up the good work on these videos!
got everything set. but now the goals are to get AC strobes for a mix of function and power. backdrops, well, can't afford what you're using but planning to get affordable alternatives. hahaha (oh, as to that word you need to use with the elinchrom stand, it might be 'spring cushion' lol)
Thank you Mr. Jiggie for this info, this helps me a lot for my upcoming home studio set up. Please make more tutorials :) More power to you and God bless
Very simple, reminds me of @FigandLight where I first saw him using simple set ups like this and bounce/blocking cards with MagMod accessories for product images.
Hello, I am building a small photo studio, 15'x16'x8' I want to paint everything in matt...white maybe a wall in gray, and the floor is bright gray vinyl. My question is how many walls to paint in gray? I will be doing small family portraits, planning to have 9' x3 rolls of seamless paper mounted on one wall. Potentially around holidays to have some holiday 2 or 3 backdrops in...also which lights do you recommend?
This a masterpiece of information. Due to limited amount of space I've what medium size octabox would you recommend I buy for headshots and full body portraits.
Dear Jiggi, this video is so impressing, and I decided to buy an umbrella like this, but, there is no word about the modifiers size. What is the biggest size of modifier recomended for speedlight and which is the size what needs studio strobe?
Another great video. I have one question on the Phottix Premio 120cm Umbrella. Is it still being made? I went to Amazon and could not find it. I went to B&H (largest and best US vendor of photographic equipment) and they list Phottix Premio 47 inch (120 cm) as Discontinued. This would have been perfect for my space. I am looking for something equivalent if you have any suggestions. BTW I am in the US.
Oh sorry, I didn't know that. Anyway any silver reflective umbrella from B&H should be good, just make sure to get the optional diffuser. It works wonders
Nice tips!! Umbrellas (deep ones with diffusion) for small spaces are a winner choice! Big and soft light. thks
Thank you, a great video that gives a realistic idea of how to set up a home studio. The first professional that hasn't said you need a truck full of "C" stands.
LOL, I find them too heavy to be practical.

Do you have an idea what equipmens and software to use para sa nauuso ngayon na self studio, yung de-remote?
Can you make another video, which lens you use in this space as I think that is also important element in this small space?
Uhmmm most of my videos are shot in this space, so you can just check the rest of the videos in the channel :)

Thank you for the video.
I have a question, how do you mount the crossbar to the autopoles to hold the backdrop?
Super clamps :)

Try the 65cm and play around with grids to control your light :)
Love you videos sir 😍

Thank you.
You're welcome!
Gud pm Sir .. I just need to know if there's Tax fee before you can receive your item from Kate Backdrop ??
As your studio has a white floor the black mat has indeed a function. Without it you would always have light reflected from the floor...
Well if you look at it that way then yeah. But normally I still do like controlling the spill of my lightsb
@@JiggieAlejandrino I really like your work Jiggie. Keep the videos and the good work coming!!!
Thanks! :)

In general, what size modifiers/softboxes do you recommend?
At least 85cm to get nice soft light
what floor rug is that with the wood planks? and whats the size?

Sir where and how did you cut your seamless paper?
I cut it myself
