Running it on my series x at 1440p and I'm happy to say that 120fps looks and runs well. I play solo and do prefer 60fps for better visuals. My monitor (Odyssey G5) gets a little dull color wise above 60hz for reasons I don't know.

    • @AakarshDureha

I'm on the same boat as you brother as I have been on Series X with Odyssey G5. I moved my console from TV back to the monitor and they higher FPS feels so great! 😁
But I was wondering whether you're able to run HDR well on the monitor. It's quite dark on my monitor which is perhaps because I force 4k on G5 while the monitor is 1440p. But 1440p looks great!

The difference between quality and performance mod is extremely noticeable, have a look at the armor hall or during a game of big team battle, performance mode is so blurry. It’s suppose to be 1440p but comes no were close. Also the reload animations are only 30fps so it makes them look so jittery on performance mode

My ex girlfriend has a 42 inch LG. And I think is the nicest 4k display I've ever seen. I saw Sherlock Holmes on Netflix on it and I swear it looked like if the scenes was being filmed in front of me. And that was just regular Netflix. I have a VQ258QR Monitor which is capable of running at 164Hz at 1080p but when I try to change the display settings on console it doesn’t give me the option and is capped at 60Hz. Any suggestions? I suspect your monitor doesn't support 120Hz at 1080p. Even though it does higher than 120Hz it doesn't mean it will do 120Hz HDMI at 1080p.

I went to my brother in law’s yesterday and he has a series x and a c1. It all worked on his set up so you must need the hdmi 2.1 on latter LG oleds for performance mode to appear. Annoying as I would play at 1080 120 for multiplayer on Halo.
