    Thanks for keeping this video on YT! Mine had a heating failure. The bed heat and hotend terminals were not soldered correctly. Both broke away from a solder pad. There was no solder inside the feedthu holes.😮
    Poor design decision for high current terminals.

    Very helpful video with the wiring, thank you :)

    Thermistors on my early dual Z i3 Mega go to T1 (hotend) and T2 (bed). The Y endstop on D42. Everything else is the same as video.
    The other i3 I have has bed thermistor on new pins next to D42 instead of T2. All else the same as video.

    I need to replace the motherboard of Anycubic Mega Pro. But Cura 4.10 show no option for "comm port" to brush firmware?

    Hello, I see that he reconnected hot bed wiring is with de green facing the front of the case, instead of the orientation after the reconnection, that´s correct? Thanks

      I saw that too, for sure mine is blue facing the screen at 2:35. If it's for the hot plate I think it doesn't make a difference (but not sure)

      @@barrioscorona215 It is the cable for the hotbed thermistor and indeed does not matter how it is connected.

      Wiring in video follows Anycubic manufacturing instructions.

    shouldnt the power wires not be tinned ?

    • @m30guy
      @m30guy หลายเดือนก่อน

      Tining makes it easier for production assembly.

    Why Any Cubic don't have screens displays for their 3D printers on spare parts sell ?? if you dont do that you will have great trouble.Dont say no body said sleeping beauty

    So I notice you mention heatsink can short the board which I think it happen to mine. Do I replace just the board or the driver too? Thanks

      The heatsinks on the stepper driver boards can be individually replaced. They do no affect the motherboard. If the heatsinks are poorly installed, it is very obvious. If you look at the one on the left when they are reinstalled, that's really close to causing a short. The heatsink is nearly touching pins.

    is it possible to replace the 32bit version motherboard with the 8bit version? problems with wiring?

    • @brianfoster7064
      @brianfoster7064 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Don't you mean replace the 8 bit board with a 32 bit board?

    • @m30guy
      @m30guy หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, BTT SKR 1.4 or SKR 2 are both capable replacements. A number of YT vids about it. Would need wiring, mounting and firmware modifications which are available, and suggested for the more advanced.

    @4:33 : useless daugtherboard. This makes things complicated where they shouldn't with proper and clean wiring.

      Remember, this was their first product. They were looking for Modular assembly. The Exp1 and Exp2 under the daughter board can be connected to a more standard display.
