This is a hot and timeless song. I think it would be a hit even if it dropped today. Eric Clapton is an incredible guitar player, songwriter and singer, I love everything he has done. Thank you for your reaction.
I was thinking,,,,,,,,, wishing it were longer then you agreed. But thinking I'll just replay your reaction. 😁Always loved this song. Back in the day, it was a HUGE hit if not his biggest. Thank you for bringing those memories back to me.
I watch and do the comparisons with several "Reactors". YOU JMBOY are most certainly the Best I have seen in the past 5 years. The best music from the greatest artist without any nonsense or pausing. I want to give you massive KUDOS for NOT ONE bad word or profanity used in any of your content. I can show all your videos to my grand kids with no concerns about what they will see or hear from you. That is PURE CLASS and the HIGHEST Standards...... TOO COOL, again.
In the 60's they called him "GOD".... Put a guitar in his hands and it's like Heavenly Music. Thanks again my friend for another great Classic Rock Reaction. I agree, this song could be 20 minutes long and be fine.
The Live version from "Unplugged" so you get Chuck Leavell's Killer Piano solo . When you play a solo so good with musicians of the caliber in that "Unplugged" band & even THEY get this OMG ! "STANK" Face look on , as they listen to Chucks beautiful piano runs , you kind of know you nailed the assignment .🙂
You walk into the Classic Rock Restaurant and take a seat.... I walk up and say HIGH, My name is Mark, I'll be serving you today. You say... What's good on the menu today? what do you suggest?. I say.... I'm sure you'll really enjoy this tasty treat. and you love it... again. That has happened 290 times since January 14th with your 41st video, and 80 different artist. I just smile, again. Thanks my friend, you are certainly the Best Reactor at YT.
"Forever Man" How many times must I tell you, baby? How many bridges I've got to cross? How many times must I explain myself? 'Fore I can talk to the boss 'Fore I can talk to the boss How many times must I say I love you 'Fore you finally understand? Won't you be my forever woman? I'll try to be your forever man (forever man) Try to be your forever man How many times must I say I love you 'Fore you finally understand? Won't you be my forever woman? I'll try to be your forever man Try to be your forever man (forever man) Forever man, forever man, forever man (forever man) Forever man, forever man, forever man Try to be your forever man Forever man, forever man, forever man (forever man) Forever man, forever man, forever man (forever man) Forever man, forever man, forever man (forever man) Try to be your forever man
I think it is Jeff Porcaro and Nathan East on the recording.. The band on this music video is Eric’s touring band at that time they film this, thats why.
Eric was a racist his words about West Indian and ethnic minorities in the 70's UK 🇬🇧 was despicable. He never apologised for the comments Bowie made same comments but he regretted them and apologised even went on to marry Iman
Eric apologised and has idolised black players the majority of his life. He was best man at Freddie Kings wedding, best friends with BB King, paid towards Billy Preston's end of life care, set up a rehabilitation centre on Antigua, helped D'Angelo during recovery, dated Naomi Campbell, was one of the few artists to make sure old blues artists got the royalties they deserved, had numerous black artists in his touring bands over the decades, played at the Concert for Bangladesh, Free Nelson Madela benefit, supports Palestine and has spoke out at the bombing in Gaza. His actions over the years clearly show he's not racist. He did have a racist rant whilst at the height of alcohol and drug abuse, which he's since owned as part of his recovery. Judge the man on the facts across his lifetime rather than on a stupid night at the lowest points in his life
And yes he did apologise and he included it in a documentary about his life. He could have easily asked it not be included, but realises what a destructive person he was around this time and he can't fathom it now he's sober

I think he is a very underated vocalist.
One of my favorites by EC....also the great Jeff Porcaro on drums.

THE LIVE VERSION IS EVEN BETTER. CHECK IT OUT WITH ERIC AND STEVE WINWOOD
Great vocals and nice sound though like you said he should have been longer and with a solo guitar at a certain point in the song.
❤❤Ohhhh mannnn ! Still such a great song !!!!!😊😊
It’s in the way you use it a great song by him.
My only issue with this song is it doesn't seem long enough. I could definitely enjoy another 90 seconds longer
Find Bad Love next....falls right into place ;) Love the channel.
Check out Motherless Children….up beat with some tuff lyrics ✌️
And the late great Donald Duck Dunn on Bass
