i love this for a lot of reasons, but i think the thing i love most about this is the fact that none of the sides are portrayed in a super negative light? like, this is virgil's story from virgil's point of view, and even then deceit and remus aren't really portrayed as these horrible, evil villains, and i really appreciate that.

I still love Deceit and Remus even though they are put in a bad light. They are still a part of Thomas and make him who he is, just like Virgil.

So Many Good Fandoms I just slap Remus with a “Facade” card cus.... I wanna think of him as ok but as he was forced into the role of intrusive thoughts so he’s able to be redeemed, kinda the same with Deceit except I think he’s actually trying to help Thomas see that he isn’t perfect but that’s ok, because lying can be used for good. Now my fingers hurt :)

This is so amazing. I love how you told the story from both sides of Virgil's story. When he was with Deceit and Remus, he laughed and had fun, but he realized that something was wrong the more he hung out with Roman, Thomas, Patton, and Logan. But still, Remus and Deceit aren't bad, they are parts of Thomas, and they should not be discouraged and hated, they should be helped. I feel like they can all get better, and I know they can become less extreme like Virgil was when he was Anxiety. Like I said before, Remus and Deceit aren't bad, they just felt left behind and felt the need to lash out in fear of being forgotten and cast aside. Thank you for this gorgeous piece of work, thank you for your time and effort, and thank you for being apart of this beautiful community.

not sure! I was basing this off of canon alone, and virgil just kinda... skedaddled over to the dark sides. we'll have to wait for the series to explain what happened with them!

My damn god. I can _feel_ the tears inside me. *This is beautiful and I can understand Virgil and how he doesn’t feel like he fits in.* I also love that it isn’t the dark sides being evil just a little self conscious. Virgil seems like he can relate to the dark sides because he used to be one.

I love pretty much everything about this. It's everything I could have wanted, from the choice in music (that c o v e r omfg), to the very realistic portrayal of Virgil and his relationship with the other sides (both Light and Dark) and Thomas, how his thought process as Anxiety goes as he balances trying to protect Thomas and try to be good enough for everyone, as well as his personal growth throughout an entire series compressed into four minutes and thirty freaking seconds. And the art style? The SYMBOLISM you used? To die for. You, my friend, are a genius as well as a talented and patient artist to come up with this masterpiece.
I'm crying! This is beautiful! Virgil kind of reminds me of myself sometimes. I was really sad for a while and tried to isolate myself, but my friends were having none of my bs and helped me through it.

They don't mean to cause any harm they are just different.

I love how Deciet and Remus aren't exactly the super evil darksides Thomas would normally portray them. I also love the fact that Virgil was actually THINKING of them. Most animatics show that Virgil practically FORGOT about them. Sure maybe not forget but he forgot about what they did for and with him. It gives you a small feeling that Virgil may have actually cared about and loved the darksides as much as he does the lightsides but it just lessened over time. It makes you think that Virgil probably cares about the darksides and maybe even loves them still but can't choose between which group he should stay with seeing as one portrays the other as a group whose ONLY goal is to hurt Thomas when really that isn't the case at all.
