Of course equating never having had BBQ sauce and never having a McRib are clearly the same thing. Idiots like you spreading misinformation due to personal bias, trying to overshadow a man’s professional work and attacking his integrity because you have little or none. Shut up.
I'm glad teachers are shilling for McDonalds. Their food is really healthy and inexpensive so getting kids into fast food when they're young leads to a life of healthy living
Yeah that fucked me up. Sounded so unnatural. How on earth could what he said possibly be *THAT* funny. I'm not even sure it constituted as a little bit funny even. I would even go as far to say that I may have actually been a little offended at how not funny it actually was and how hysterically they laughed in perfect sync regardless.
The way this is staged is almost like propaganda. Forced laughter, scripted lines. It's uncanny. Like yes... the McRib is real food! Tell the camera or be shot!
They taste good. They literally show you in the video how they are made and you still have your tin foil hat on. You were wrong, Admit it and move on. Quit doubling down on your delusions.
Here is an example of what is wrong with the modern world. The man admits he saw nothing more than a photo on Twitter and thus formed an opinion which he shared with the masses. A rather silly opinion formed with no fact, no research, nothing but what was contained in a photo. Instead of McDonalds feteing him they should have just sued him for slander and let him fade into obscurity as he should.
this was taken 6 years ago. I wonder if they still use the same meat supplier because many have said (recently) that the taste has changed / been altered, and that's usually a sign that changes were made to the supplier(s). And it did not taste as good.
When we go for any period of time without something, we tend to fetishize and enhance our memories of whatever it is that we've tasted. Also, as we age, our taste palletes change. You can't get much cheaper than the process they have because they only tend to produce the McRib when pork prices are lowest (in the fall, generally). As much as people demonize McDonald's, they do use real meat in all of their products. I didn't believe it until I worked there. Sometimes they mix things like dextrose or preservatives in, as the video stated, to enhance the flavor but all in all the meat portion is exactly what it is; meat.
If I remember correctly, this series with Grant [RIP] had the opposite effect than what McDonald's intended; people ended up being more grossed out with the processing than before.
If you look at the lower left hand corner, you’ll see a similar thing. Figured out what it is yet? It’s part of the metal belt, to separate the meat. Be careful to not succumb to your biases.
“That’s why it taste like my grandmas BBQ?”. Then proceeds to agree with Grant when he said both of them had never tried a McRib. Awkward when the improv and script contradict each other🌚
The McRib is back for now and I was looking for recipes so I can compare them side by side so I can make them when they’re gone. This popped up, I clicked, and I saw Grant. RIP to my favorite Mythbuster.
If you still want one, get a pork loin. Cook it all day in a slow cooker with your favorite seasoning and some brown sugar. Shred it with a fork and then process it till its a pate. Shape and bake the patties, add bbq sauce the last 10 or so minutes and cover. You can freeze them
Although McRib isn’t a seasonal menu in most McDonald’s countries, it is a permanent menu in all stores in Germany and Luxembourg as beef and pork are more popular there.
I've never had one but if it's anything like the stuff w get at our snackbars they use some meat but then it gets stuffed with fillers and things that makes the water stay in it then they mix until you get more of a dough that is a lot cheaper than any seasoned meat product. The way they make this look it's just a sausage but then they wouldn't be making the profit, the deboning alone of that pork would be expensive.
Just watched a Report of the Week review and had to look this up. RIP, Grant. There's a restaurant I've been to a few times whose motto is "Good grub is messy". McRib proves bad grub can be messy too.
For me, it’s the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige. One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, “Wow, three for free!” and the nice friendly McDonald’s worker laughed and said, “I’m going to call you 3-for-free!”. Now the staff greets me with “hey it’s 3-for-free!” and ALWAYS give me three packets. It’s such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald’s restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I’m in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs. I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it’s delicious! What a great restaurant
I love how mcdonalds did these videos like they were being investigated by grant yet they paid for the videos and all results made them look good. If you showed up to the factory by surprise you would see different meat vs what they showed. Also they blocked comments on the mcdonalds page. What does that day about a company when they block comments but say send us your questions lol

@Lew, Tru Dat, yo! And their tactic worked wonders for the DNC on nov. 7th. That's okay because bullets are triggered by wisdom and patriotism, and not by emotions.
This is what propaganda looks like. We may not have state propaganda in the west, but we still have corporate propaganda, which is almost as bad. Not saying there's anything wrong with mcribs or not, but they could've gotten third party journalists to visit these factories, not someone they paid.
They could make the mcrib out of pig anuses and bird crap and I'd still eat it. I just can't get enough of that tangy, authentic Kansas city barbecue flavor! I'll be a die-hard mcrib fan until the day I die!!
