Your grandma must be a fucking awful cook if this taste's "as good as" home cooked BBQ. McD's and every other chain will make their food the bare minimum acceptable food product the FDA will approve in order to make a profit. Its food, but only as approved by scientists who had to study it in order to make sure.

I've never had one but if it's anything like the stuff w get at our snackbars they use some meat but then it gets stuffed with fillers and things that makes the water stay in it then they mix until you get more of a dough that is a lot cheaper than any seasoned meat product. The way they make this look it's just a sausage but then they wouldn't be making the profit, the deboning alone of that pork would be expensive.
