She'll be right mate....while Tasmania bleeds to death, Albo gives what was it?, $600 million to PNG for a footy team......who needs hospitals? I will never vote LNP & now it's looking like I won't vote Labor again. A recent incident involving TasPol has me thinking this state is now as corrupt as NSW. Time to go.....
Sounds good If education is the worst is the problem with teacher training or with lack of discipline in schools, disrespect for teachers and towards students, what is the cause? Those Premier's maybe ok' d the development and schemes but other people did the labour. I am not convinced wind farms are a good solution. I agree with rewriting power of councils regarding developments and building of homes.
The podcast is the bleeding obvious that all politicians would state. I am only interested in detail, how you will fix issues A, B and C inc costings etc. Will you abandon the proposed stadium which to me is just a nice to have for the minority, why the pursuit of windfarms that have a use-by date of about 20 years then the huge costs of dismantling, disposing of them and installing new wind turbines with another 20 year use-by date and so on to infinity, which is economic madness, agree council powers re development and building need to be curbed, eg the killing of the Ralphs Bay project by "save Ralphs Bay" activists., protecting women's rights re biological women only, competing in women's sports and change room issues re our daughters. Addressing wokeness and this welcome to country business, your stance on this push for Treaty by activists despite the emphatic rejection of The Voice and all its baggage. I would like to see all heads roll who signed off on the Bass Strait ferry project inc Tas Ports etc. Agree the new ferries should be brought back immediately. Your stance on Law and Order, how do you keep and entice manufacturing from the mainland to set up in Tasmania, how will you control fiscal wastage. I want to know exactly what you stand for in detail. I never give a blank cheque to any party be it Labor or Liberal and never ever to The Greens.
People think that Liberals can manage the economy better. Easy to prove wrong, but needs PUBLICITY, PUBLICITY and more PUBLICITY. Focus on electricity was, under Eric Reece, about jobs for Tasmanians, jobs using cheap electricity. Don't export electricity - import jobs. Also support community groups - 1000 community groups at $20,000 each will do far more for Tasmania than a $1billion stadium for a few football nuts. Soccer has twice as many registered players as AFL. Play AFL at York Park, put on the same roof as every other AFL stadium in the country.
Well said, after the Spirit debacle plus other broken promises I would like Labour to help our state move forward.
