I love how you found a solution to align the holes and you didn’t give up and literally took a month to figure this out. I could see a difference in your overlay video. You’re a bad ass Judith⚡️

Thanks. Yeah, it took a month to get that half circle widen. 😒 It was not an easy task, and it rained a lot, so I couldn't install them. I almost gave up, but I couldn't find the right size for my handlebars.

Hello darling goodness you had me worried when you started pulling those handlebars off. I’m so glad that you could fix it and that it was all good. I don’t touch any power tools at all. I’m terrified of them all well done Judith you found the solution and it works for you. How is it with writing? It? Can’t wait for you to let us know. Thank goodness hubby was around to give a little bit of help. Lots of love beautiful Ballarat darling. God bless.🙏💕😘

Thank you, Tammy! ♡ I love working with my hands, fixing stuff. Yeah, good chance my husband was around. These screws were tight!
      Take care!

Ooof, I hope you torqued those screws to the recommended tightness. Blue lock tight would help also. Else you don't need no stinking handle bars while on the freeway :)

Well... not at first. 😒 They came loose, and the bar fell downward while riding. Yeah... that was a bad move. I learned. I did have them torqued to the right tightness after that. Blue lock would have been a good idea!

Cool. Well done. Those are small risers. You can get longer/taller ones.

I know... but I didn't know then. 🤣 So I'll work with them for now.

On my Suzuki M50, the bolts holding the handlebars on were so tight I was afraid I was going to snap them off.

      Same! Luckily, that didn't happen!

Don’t b afraid to use penetrating spray grease!

That would have been a good idea!

Hello, how does it feel riding???

    • @LivingLifewithJudith
      @LivingLifewithJudith  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

It feels good. My arms are not as stretched. But, I could have bought higher riders.
I'll have a video on how it feels riding with those risers.

Looks like to me with all the modifications you had to do you brought the wrong one’s and tried to make them fit very dangerous

Maybe, but other than the handlebar risers, I didn't do any mods, per say. I could have bought a smaller bike... but even with the Rebel motorcycle, I would have needed handlebar risers. I am short. 🤷‍♀️
I've added crash bars, an esthetic chrome plate for the radiator, and changed the mirrors... nothing dangerous there, imo.
