Always go to my LCS first if I can. Even if I find a good deal somewhere online they’ll usually match because I’m in there all the time. I get a good deal, they keep the lights on.

I love to support LCS so if I can’t buy cards I buy all my sleeves, bulk boxes, top loaders etc. At minimum I’ll grab a few boosters to rip in car

Do you have any bulk cards that you would like to sell or get rid of I am looking to complete some of the sword and shield Era sets that I have started just this past Mach 2023.
As someone who buys cards every single day and has almost every single set complete ebay is the safest and the cheapest way to buy cards. Especially buying lots, and auctions for singles. Ebay sellers really care about their rating. I havent really paid over $1 a card on modern lots the entire year. If the card doesnt match the subscription even a little bit you can get a return 100% of the time even if they dont accept returns. It only takes 30 seconds to actually talk to a human at ebay if anything goes wrong, and ebay heavily favors the buyers over the sellers. If you're buying singles from troll and toad you're overpaying on every single card. As someone who lists cards every day on tcg player and ebay, i beat troll and toads price on every single card, every single day. And then with tcg player you will almost never get an actual mint card.

My LCS we've been trying to establish a trade night every month. slowly picking up progress.
I was going to start selling on ebay ive had a lot of transactions on fb and only have 28 feedbacks on ebay. So what your saying is im risky? I usually give more then people buy. My question to you is how do i get my feedback numbers higher so people feel better about buying from me?
Facebook groups are also a very good way top buy. Some groups actually have excel sheets with feedback set up to make sales more at ease.

I bought a Greninja from TrollandToad in NM condition a few months back, and I wasn’t thrilled with the condition I got. The card was definitely LP. It left a bad taste in my mouth, for sure. I haven’t bought from them since.

What’s an LCS?
The discord is good but some of the mods are terrible and kick out people just for hurting their feeling or for minor stuff. Also the mods just act like clowns and jerks sometimes since they have too much power. Great video Sean keep it up man 👍

i used to work at troll and toad they're a great company to work for considering they're local but god people would send it cards just thrown in a box organizing cars by the series they released from and doing it alphabetically ordered was annoying af

I hate to say it but I stay away from LGS they tend to sell at a premium and they still think no one has ever heard of the internet. I tried but when they charge 120 for a booster that I can get for 95 where do you think I'm going then. LGS needs to be competitive with online to get my business.

LCS pricing just sucks, I get they gotta eat BUT they usually are asking double the recent comps and they buy at 50% from their customers and if you’re lucky 75% of your cards value in trade value

You do know you can get your money back if the card doesn't match the description 100% of the time right??
eBay has the most hardcore policy on fakes and condition. Seller can say NM if it’s got edgewear eBay returns it whether or not the seller has a “no return” policy. Open under video. If it doesn’t match … instant return.
@gsigmund for real I don't get the people who don't trust ebay. I think they think ebay won't help them if they do get scammed or something.
