Gotham knights is missing these small details the Arkham games had. In city and origins you could visit crime alley and pay your respects to Thomas and Martha
only in city I think, but in origins when you are investigating another murder in that same area you can see both thomas and martha´s bodies when you reconstruct the scene
@@nizownis that doesn’t matter at all. It’s a huge key point for all the knights. If his parents weren’t murdered. None of them would be around. This game’s city and Easter eggs were a huge let down.
@@devin_leary that is part of Bruce's story. They all have their own tragedies that lead them to here. Thomas and Martha do not need to be here, and we shouldn't expect them to be.
Not only this is where Bruce's parents died but this is where Bruce and Jason first met (Post-crisis) would have been a lot better if they referenced or had a little dialogue where Jason would mention it.
@@StevePerez2900 Post crisis basically means after the infinite crisis because during pre-crisis they gave Jason the same back story as Dick. Todd's family were also acrobats and they also got killed by criminals, most specifically Killer Croc. Then after that they retconned Jason's story, which we all mostly know, him being caught by Batman stealing tires from the Batmobile.
Yea you’d think that especially Jason visiting he’d make a comment but idk maybe it was to intricate 🤷🏼 They do have graffiti that says no more billionaires on the wall tho
They do make a reference on the side when you enter there's graffiti saying "No more Billionaires" and as far as the chalk outline from origins and city. I think it's strange that it's been years since the death of the Wayne's but the outline is still there after who knows how many deaths in that alley. I think it would have been better to have a rose in the middle of the light where they died, and in Gotham knights everyone left a rose or some kind of flower while on patrol as a way to honor both Bruce and his parents.
Pretty sure the idea behind the chalk outline was that Hugo Strange put it there due to his obsession with Batman/Bruce Wayne. As for why it's in Origins, that was probably just WB Montreal making a reference to AC rather than adding an actual element for world building.
I just found the area. It doesn't have the chalk shaped like their bodies. But it does have chalk from where Martha pearls, bullet casing, and evidence were found on the ground.
Honestly I think it would have been cool if we stepped away from the Thomas and Martha Wayne stuff (except maybe a cities history plaque or something) and stepped a little closer to the Gotham Knight's history, in some iterations it was Crime Alley where Jason met Bruce in the first place. A reference to that would have been cool.
There is two references in the alley to Thomas and Martha Wayne's death. On one of the walls where you enter there is "No more billionaires" spray painted on the wall, and then in the air where they were killed on the ground is spray painted in white a broken pearl necklace.
I’m actually pleasantly surprised at Crime Alley not being important to the plot. The Arkham games already had gave it three big showing, heck the final boss of City was next to it. I appreciate the restraint. Granted I wouldn’t have complained if there was a scene of the Knights going there in the final scene of the game and putting down three roses. But still.
@@ThatARKHAMguy What I meant was I believe what Torontofan was refering to was the chalk outline in the videogame, Batman: Arkham City. Seriously no memorial plaque? No roses? This is the moment that is important to the batfamily in general and there’s nothing?
It's important to batman. You're not playing as batman.
You really think Gotham cares enough to do all that?

Wait where the F were the wayne's trying to get to going through that ally? the bridges are to the west and south nothings up there?
Literally, just look at the jog/run animation. That should tell you enough about this game's development.
Ok so in Arkham city Hugo knew Bruce’s identity and had the bodies chalked up to mess w Bruce. It would make no sense here
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuh and I was just HERE, but I didnt realise this is Crime Alley, holly sh*T

Is no one gonna talk about the $hitty run animations?
Look how unnecessarily bug everything is and mostly square and rectangular

That's in Arkham City
