    These are so cute! Love the size and that it has the original book pages intact with the addition of alternate pages and pockets.

    Since I started watching your videos a few days ago I have now been to at least 6 thrift stores and bought some wonderful children's books and a binder cookbook to create fun journals with if I can stop shopping long enough to get creative!

      I hear ya, sister! Shopping for treasures is half the fun. Today I hit one of my favorite little thrifts and came home with soooooo much goodness. Now, I'm energized to get creating but laundry and vacuuming are calling my name. ugh.

    Very, very nice. Good to see how you used these books for your own remembrances. So much more interesting than purchasing a formal scrapbook or album; AND the little books get to live on and be loved along with the activities in your life.

    The Winnie the Pooh book is so adorable. I just bought some old children's books at a library sale and thrift shop and you have given me such inspiration on how to alter them.

    Hi again Gina! I'd like to ask your opinion about these punch and binding machines, if you don't mind, of course! Do you have a favorite; which one you think is best? Thank you and hugs, Simone :-)

    • @stellarjstudios
      @stellarjstudios  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Simone! I can only tell you about the Zutter Bind it All because I haven't used any other brand. I love it. It definitely takes a lot of practice to get the hang of it. I have had the same machine for 9 years and it works just fine. I order my rings from amazon. I have tried to use other brand rings (Cinch) with the Zutter and the results were not the best. Thanks for asking. I hope this helps.

      You're very kind to answer! I've never used any and I see there is an argument between the Bind it All and the Cinch users :-) I will keep checking reviews and maybe I'll get one of them. I'm clumsy and don't have so much patience... the use of the Cinch seems easier, but I don't know... I love making books at home and it seems that having one of these machines would open many possibilities! Again, thanks a lot, I love what you do!

    I am beginning to feel like a stalker...Since finding you yesterday I have watched a few of your videos and must say I feel very drawn to your style. I also ditched the 12 x 12 scrapbooks for something more personal and unique. Those huge books are so hard to share and crazy to store. I love the little golden books and kids board books. My thrift sells them for a dime or 15 cents. The illustrations are amazing and take me back to simpler times. Also, we are neighbors. I'm in Omaha. I've trekked to KC many times. The latest was to the The Grinter Sunflower Farm (I think that's outside Lawrence?). ok, enough. Just want to say thank you, I'm loving your videos!!

      Hello Neighbor! I have a video about our trip to the sunflowers! Such an amazing place. I love Omaha. My parents used to live there and we would visit frequently. Snatch up those precious kid's books. They are so fun to use in journals.
      Thank you for your sweet words. I am so excited you are finding some inspiration from my channel!
