As a recovering perfectionist it gave me such joy to watch you draw those lines without a ruler. I love your journals and your approach to the process. TFS 💕💕💕
OMG I don't keep a planner cuz the only thing I have to plan is for my ice cream truck and I use a little DT planner for it but now I'm totally gonna make a planner and use it to plan my life! So inspiring! 🤩🤩
Ok mind blown. My love for junk journaling and planning together. I love your flip throughs. I really hope that you make this one of your regular videos. Amazing process. It's the reason why you are so loved.
❤️ to see your process. - hint for flat pages- I remove all the pages a pile them up next to the book. Then, I start gluing pages together from the very back of the book moving towards the front. Once I’ve glued two pages together I insert a couple of the removed pages on top. I would do this each time - glue, put in loose pages, glue etc. When I’m done the book has all the loose pages being used as ‘spacers’.This not only keeps pages from sticking to each other, but it keeps the spine aligned so the glued pages dry really flat. It moves fast and eliminates the back and forth gluing. After my glue is dry I just pull out the loose pages. Voila!
I am super excited that you did this video!! Once I started watching I had an 'Ah Ha' moment. I wanted to make one an remembered that when my grandparents passed away that I brought home an encyclopedia set for the practical handyman dated 1965!! Oh My Goodness...They are PERFECT for this!! The hubby is not to keen on the idea of, in his words, killing an innocent book, but I told him every time I see it or touch it, it will remind me of them. So many thanks, I'm gonna love this journey!!
I got tickled at how excited you were to be back in a planner:-) I usually get an 8x11 monthly planner from the dollar store, at the beginning of the year, take it apart and put it on rings. That becomes my yearly scrapbook and I do all my doodling, journaling, and memory keeping in that. I like the rings so that I can add cards and moments to it. I can't wait to see the follow up.
Whenever you start something new then I have to do what your doing or I think how can I make Gina’s idea work for me. Even tho I’m working on something else I put that aside and work on what your doing, but today I said nope let me finish this and then do what your doing.good thing I can add your videos to my favorites list and rewatch you.thanks for always getting my creativity flowing.
Very cute idea Gina!!!! I’m definitely all over the place lol!! I need this in my life so I don’t feel I have to keep it all pretty and neat!! Love it! 💖
This might be my favorite! I love my store bought journal but add and glue and mix in things. I’m now ready to find a book! 😍 I am also not a measurer, I love your wonky lines 😍
Fabulous video!!! I am SUCH a visual learner...this got me so inspired to create one of my own. I’ve seen yours before in other videos of course, but just seeing you actually in the process of creating it was exciting! Thanks so much for sharing!!! 😊🔆
I love this style of planner! Thank you so much for sharing. I just went to the thrift store and bought 3 books, now to choose which one I want to use. I have a few questions but I think I’ll watch your older videos to see if that answers them😊. I did try a bullet journal once it was too much hard, precise work! I like the ‘winging it’ style of this planner. Right up my alley😁. Great video😁🤗😍 best wishes Rachel
Hello love this video because my first videos I watched of you were you working in a planner. Doodling all over it😀. In fact I have planners I bought and used before I started making my own that I plan to repurpose into journals
Funny, this year I’ve used this format and it was totally inspired by your past planner styles. Not in an altered book but a plain ring bound 12 x 12. I’ve done a double page planner spread/layout each month, then two double page spreads left for photos and ephemera but also putting small bits of ephemera in the planner pages. Wish I had the patience and know how to do a flip through video.
Could you please count the pages font and back of this book as it is now and also cont how many are left in the electronic book? I just do not want to pull out TOO many. Thanks so much for your help! I appreciate you!
I am obsessed with this. Must make one immediately.
