I like Danny Mac from the old days. Bit of rambling nut with some of these opinions today. There is 0 chance Bears keep trading down and take the 4th QB.

You don't have to worry, I REALLY think they are going to take Drake. They always preach "length" and I imagine that applies to the QB position as well. I'm with you though, I don't want him on the Bears either. Time will tell.

If they're willing to extend JF for 5 years after the 2025 season, then trading down makes sense. If they're not willing to shell out upwards of 50 million per year for JF they need to draft Williams or Maye at #1 or #2. Since they wouldn't go after Harbaugh, the absolute best coach available for 16 million per year, It's doubtful they extend Fields. Poles must take a top QB at the top of this draft or it'll end the Bears Superbowl chances for years, maybe a decade or more. Unless...they extend Fields
