I'll have 7 years clean in 3 weeks, God willing. I've followed Ryan since college and he's a inspiration to me. Bears fan since 1966 and I'm cautiously optimistic!! Bear Down
Great show on addiction and reality behind the disease my story is the opposite permanent pain not being treated correctly suffering horribly from the pain my mental health eroded it’s now under control praise God $$$$$man happy to be alive
Poles inherited a mess in salary cap…. He cleaned house and got rid of every outdated contract that wasn’t attached to a young player he wanted to keep. He had a ton of dead cap as a result in the following year…. This year the cap is almost completely clear of dead cap space I believe less than 20k which is nothing in the scheme of things. All the core young players are under contract for 3-4 years. This team will have time to grow together as we add pieces through draft and free agency to improve wherever needed. He’s set the Bears up for fairly free sailing for a few years. He’s completely turned this franchise around, what a talent.
He's a good example of why it doesn't have to be perfect, there is margin for error. He has been lucky, but you need sound principles. Turning it around in two years is pretty good
I am coming up on nine years sobriety myself; I greatly appreciate both of you for talking about this subject. You can get help and get sober. Thanks again.😊
I’m 40, been on some type of pain medication since I was 17. Blew my knee out in high school football and needed over ten surgeries. Thankfully, I dont take as much pain meds as I used to. Withdrawals are not fun, but helps reset the brain.
I'm happy to see Danny Mac on TH-cam. Been listening to him since the late 80s. However, I'm sorry to see him struggling to get 2k Subscribers and having to settle for the likes of Ryan Leaf to interview. Although Ryan was a good interview, just don't think he'll be a feature with Colin Coward or Dan Patrick anytime soon.
