Great advice to stick with the same brand, I have had to modify so much because I used different brands. For people who are getting new machines like the maverick r I would wait if you can on upgrading. My x3 is a 2017, I have an s3 bulkhead, gusset kit and shock tower brace because they were the only ones making them at the time. While they have done an amazing job at keeping my front end straight i dread having to work on the front end. Several other companies now have more maintenance friendly designs, if I would have waited I would have went when another brand.
Kind of a bummer how cheesy these smart locks are. I know they’re better than crisco locks but yeah. I killed mine in my last race and we weren’t even doing crawly stuff like you were doing on those hills a while ago!
Pretty smart to put super strong axles in it, now you don’t have the annoying cost and work of replacing an axle and you can just do this cheap/easy diff replacement.
