Thanks. Feels like progress is crawling with calendar rolling forward so fast and other commitments stealing time too. And to the system: it is line traces . Not sure if it is the best as it can miss small obstacles. I guess using a collision volume wouldn't be any harder really. And might be more efficient performance vise. I like that it operates a bit "like a real one would". I trace to the direction of the travel and set the limits based on speed. Additional random factor so it creates a dynamic cone of sorts. I could use volume trace - or whatever it is called but now its using line.
