+1 For Tractive. I have the Level II kit on my 2022 CRF300L Rally and even though it cost about 30% the price of the bike, it made an astounding difference on and off road. Im 260lbs buck naked without gear or camping kit and it totes me down the road and even enduro trails with no fuss. I dont regret it at all. When I get an Africa Twin I will be calling them for it as well.
Great video, I have a 2017 AT set up similar to yours. The one thing I never felt necessary was the radiator guards. I don’t ride in groups very often and when I do I rarely follow very close. I feel the only way a rock would hit it is if someone in front sent one back which is entirely possible. I’ve watched your videos and see where it’s probably a good idea for you. Timmers may roost you and they will come in handy then. 😂 I would suggest leaving the center stand on. If or when you need to work on the bike at home or on the trail it is worth the clanging it does. It’s like the crash protection. You don’t really need it until you do. Keep the great content coming.
Couldn't agree more with optimizing for offroad. That's exactly what I do when it comes to tires as well. I don't think you can beat that setup (Motoz adventure rear, and dual venture front) for big adventure bikes. They've got it figured out as far as the combo of aggressiveness/performance/tire longevity goes.
Thank U. Im gonna save this vid. I definitely wanna stiffen the suspension on my 23. And I think it will be a forever bike as well... Cuz im an old fart.
I just noticed that GPX Moto is possibly doing test rides at certain locations this summer. Info on their website. It specifically ask about content creators... If you're interested.
I'm glad you mentioned the irritating noise the centre stand makes while off road...😖😖😖, besides taking it off, any suggestions for quieting it down? I've also never needed it while on the trail.....but I'm also that guy who holds onto stuff for years, only to need it within a week or two of getting rid of it....🙄😔 EVERY DAMN TIME
I’m the same 😂 I’ve not done anything to quiet it down but I’d imagine cutting strips out of an old tube, and tying the stand off to the swing arm would work.
Great stuff! As we don't have a lot of legal offroad options in Germany, my blue 2019 AT DCT is not as offroad optimized as yours. Your setup seems to make a lot of sense for your purposes.
I find the 2019 seat fine for all day riding. Centet stand is noisy offroad. Im thinking about using a velcro strap to the pillion peg bracket. I need mine to store it in a tight space in my garage, and its great for washing and chain cleaning. I need bar risers as I'm6'2" and have to bend down to reach the bars even withthem rotated forward, but I find the bars are too close already while hill climbing, and get arm pump. Those ones look like they could be the ones to get the bars where I need them. How do they hold up with impact during dirt naps?
Excellent question. I somersaulted the bike at 40 mph in Mojave CA this year, and the bar risers only rotated a bit in the mounts. No bends no breaks. I’d say they are tough enough. Video proof in the channel from the Get On ADV Fest
Which Motoz rear are you currently running? I live in California and have a long haul up to the start of the IDBDR in August. Going with at Motoz tire, trying to decide between the GPS and Adventure. Running an AT as well!

Great video. I miss my ATAS.

Hell yeah! Ready to rock!
I went with the same company for my 1200GSA with Paul at Evo. I just got the bike finished. I will test it on a ride out to Desert 100!

Lana is Dialed!
Pretty close. About the only other thing I’d do is something to adjust the power curves……maybe in the future. Happy with where she’s at currently
@@ExploreAdventureMoto one of the best parts of motorcycle ownership…..personalizing and customizing 👍🏻💯
Gonna be a fun summer of riding coming up and you have an awesome bike on which to do it all!

Awesome setup!!
I had Tractive for my CB500X. That's what Rally Raid UK uses. I was really happy with it. The support was great, too.
That’s really great to hear. I did not know that Rally raid uses them. Hopefully I will not need to use customer support 👍
Thank U.
Im gonna save this vid.

I use the Bridgestone Battlax Adventurecross for my 1290 adventure r. Work really well

@@ExploreAdventureMoto ...yeah...but the chain rub...🤔
Loving your channel and your shenanigans with Dork. Question: how do you get so much time to ride multiple day/night rides?
Great stuff! As we don't have a lot of legal offroad options in Germany, my blue 2019 AT DCT is not as offroad optimized as yours. Your setup seems to make a lot of sense for your purposes.
We are blessed here, and I consider myself quite lucky to have so much access to off pavement options very close to me.

Wow, that is an extensive list of mods, but looking good!
I think I want the older AT. The new one if bad ass but I hear the engine heat is terrible.

I’ve been using the Adventure. I’m getting pretty amazing mileage out of it
Does your AT have electric suspension version or standard suspension model?
Mine is the standard. An Esuspension is available on the adventure sports model. Or was. Don’t know now Havnt kept up with it
90% of this video is of your face not the bike 😅
