thats a good tip with the foam, I usually just line about 20 up in the garage, and end up plaster skimming the gloss door outlines before I leave. Empty house I tape in place, done. a few furnished places like that too.

I'm assuming you weren't painting the walls after since you were protecting them, I always paper around the trim with a paper hand machine and use a smaller tip to avoid to much over spray, I would hate to see one of those board fall down and hit your finish work
If your spraying doors and trim first then ceiling then walls. Then there’s no masking nearly. 1 row of blue tape around window frames and spray shield for those. I had the first model of that broke 3 times and ended up they gave it to me. Still got it doesn’t work any more spray pattern is ruined on it. But the one you have they improved it a lot I just bought the ultra max tonight so that ones getting good reviews all round with the dewalt batteries I’ll let you know how it goes. New one you dont have to thin it, really shouldn’t have to thin paint for an airless.
I have used my Graco Pro once..am going to use for the 2nd time in the next week for my small house. So I don't have a lot of experience with it. My understanding is that you should keep the gun level and bend your wrist...i notice you don't when reaching down or up..what say u.

I was thinking of getting one of the machine for spraying water but, since they seem very noisy, I may change my mind. Perhaps a bigger battery powered water sprayer.
Hey mate like your videos fareplay,i worked in canada few years,they spray all woodwork its so much better and quick just the masking up pain in the hole, over in canada when spraying they need the house to be warm so doesn't run and drys quickly also spray all there woodwork first then cut into the woodwork after,do you not find that buddy with the english weather houses are cold on sites and specially using oil base paints ,as in canada and the states use laytex paints.
There will be so much overspray on those walls, so much effort when a good brush ,microfibre roller and abit of skill would do the job faster,cleaner and better..👌

Just bought a cheep spray gun thought I'd try it and see what I think as it's a cheepo I'm thinking undercoat and maybe walls see how it goes then decide. Cheers for this vid

i was looking for graco ultra cordless and found your vid. in my opinion if i could use it to prime frames and cut in ceiling lines,spray v small ceilings and get a coat on the spindells all with thinned out white emulsion then it would be VERY profitable for me. and if its white walls even better i would cut in the walls! but not switches/reveals/small areas.and i wouldnt put oil based paint in it,so that cancels out doors. the graco looks like a GIANT leap.have you an opinion on it or seen one or got one to do a vid on?its early days but has great reviews
and you cant touch them up when there snagged it would be like your touching your car door up with a roller... ive got 3 airless units and doing woodwork is not good maybe undercoat but if oilbased the thinners will mess your seals up and cost £££££
1976Dazzer I got it off Ebay, But I only got 5 plots done before the motor went☹️ had a problem with the supplier telling me I hhadnot cleaned it out properly I they wanted to charge me for a new motor,

What did you have the sprayer set at 1-10 in the video? I've had nothing but bad luck using the same sprayer and same paint spraying my trim.

Is it worth spraying the skirting as well, I know the yanks paint a house the other way round to us. We start top/down they spray from the bottom up.
