That’s it!!! The Charlotte Tilbury shadows go copper on me also!! I love the look in the pan but when looking at them on my lids: very warm! I couldn’t figure it out until you spoke about having the same issues!

I have the same problem with Patrick TA’s eyeshadows - I think it means that we’re naturally cooler toned/natural toned when things look orange on us

My absolute favourite luxury brand is Westman Atelier, I can't get over how my complexion looks when I wear those products.

Great video. I would so agree with you on the Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows turning. I would call the color they change on my lids a terra cotta undertone. Its like this is the underlying theme of many CT products. She just likes terra cotta whether intended or the color is turns once you apply it.

Michele, this was very helpful. I love most of these brands and a few I haven't tried. I have added at least a few items to my list. I am a Guerlain lover (I have half a dozen of their perfumes) so I am very interested in that polishing meterorite effect for starters. I also love the idea of the By Terry Cellularose Brightening CC cream and the Surratt eyeshadows (if I can find some). I need a room like your studio now because I have so many of everything, LOL!🤗

I love the look of the CT cheek palette (bronze and highlight). But I’ve been waiting for them to put it out in “special” packaging again. Yes, the gold is beautiful, but the blue one in particular, or even the gold/diamond one from a couple of Christmases ago, are just stunning. When she gets it right, CT is the packaging queen.

Great video! You are always very helpful. I agree with you about some matte lip products (like the Hermes matte lip balms that came out with their blushes...they are so drying after a while). I need all the moisture I can get! Thank God for my Sara Happ Brown Sugar lip scrub from Nordstrom (which smells like coffee). Thank you for previously recommending the Sisley pressed powder. It is has been my favorite all around face powder. The finish is perfect.

100% agree with what you said about Charlotte Tilbury eyeshadows. I have the larger pillow talk palette and even the cooler toned light pink shade turns orange on my eyelids! Her cheek products are fantastic though.

I have the same experience with the CT eyeshadows, I love them on people with more tan skin. On me they all read so warm and reminds me of the color my eyelids become when my eczema flares up, not exactly the look I’m going for haha.

I have the same lip drying problem with any matte lipstick, as well as a few of the newer “balm” formulas. The exceptions are anything Chantecaille and the new Sisley sheer tints, which can’t be beat. I have to thank you for demonstrating the best way to use Guerlain Meteorite a while ago. Until that time, I simply used it as a highlighter and that was a waste. Thanks for this video - it was fun and informative.

I love what Chantecaille stands for. You turned me onto the brand, and I think their blushes are incredible.
Charlotte Tilbury is the one brand that I have the most from. Everyone loves the original Pillowtalk lipstick and liner, but on me, they turn orange. I'm a big fan of her glosses. Love the Ibiza shade.
I guess you know that she just came out with a cream bronzer. I like her Darling palette. The one thing that surprises me is that the shadows are talc base. The same for the Bronze and Glow. Not great for mature skin, or anyone with dry skin.

This was a great video. I’ve always wanted to try Tom Ford and the quads looks amazing. I was surprised that you didn’t recommend his fiber brow gel… do you have a new fav for brows? Thanks Michele
I don’t use brow gel, but I watch a TON of Beauty TH-camrs every single day. What I’ve heard on the Tom Ford brow gel reviews is that he reformulated it and it doesn’t have near as many fibers in it, like the older formula that’s been discontinued. I keep hearing about how great the Gucci pencil is. Also, I don’t know if you’ve heard of the brand Florasis, but I’ve heard great things about their brow liner and the new Westman Atelier pencil that’s come out as well. I know Michele isn’t too fussy about her eyebrows and I’ve heard a lot of Beauty TH-camrs say that eyebrows are a “personal thing.” With that being said, I haven’t used any of these products. It sucks bc there’s so much out there to choose from, but what do u choose?

Totally agree on the Chantecaille lip products. The Lip Veil is really nourishing, and my lips feel better after I had the lipstick on all day. It's a lipstick and lip mask in one.
I have had the same experience with CT's eyeshadows....after two quads and one Holiday palette...i'm out...but those bronzers tho! Surratt eyeshadows and blushers are my all time number one FOR LIFE!! Nothing compares. Love seeing your collection pallette as always LOL!!
