Wow, I haven’t come across any TH-camrs that educate beauty like you do 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I’m surprised you didn’t talk about Chanel ultra le teint powder. I love that powder 😍 Nice video💕
I have and use the WA pink toned powder in that luxe compact & I love it for brightening the center of the face and a touch under the eyes- no matter where I put it I love the look I get from it- I just added the translucent in the same formulation and love it just as much. For my undertone, I think I prefer the pink one but both are perfection❤️ this was a great video- such a solid explanation of which powder does what & who it would be best for.
I am not kind of powder girl, but i have Hermes, Chantecaille from some years holiday edition . The only one that i am going to get is WA pink bubble. Have a blessed day🙏🧡
Off topic Cheri but I received a gift with purchase from Sephora of those Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads you always hype up. A 7 day pack along with the new vitamin C serum. I'm on day 6 and wow!! You were so right on the peels!! You know your stuff girly!! 🥰👍💓💕💖
Very informative video!! I am not a powder girl. I like my skin to have a glow. I d some times use the Guerlaine meteorites and they give the finish that i like. And your top is gorgeous!! that color... it makes yor eye color just stand out. Beautiful!!!
Cheri, I have to say my experience of the Laura Mercier setting powder is different from yours. It definitely makes my foundation/ tinted moisturizer darker/ more yellow. I am very pale and cool-toned, though, so maybe most of your clients are not my color. But it certainly darkens a shade and makes my makeup more yellow. In fact I use Laura Mercier in in places to color correct because of that. I do like it for oil control.
Everyone always talks about CT Flawless Filter and you didn’t. Where would you put that among the powders that you showed? Curious because I’m oily and I’m looking for a new powder. As always informative and useful. Love your videos!
Hi Cheri !! Thanks so much for the in depth overview of the difference powders so helpful . I have the Dior it’s stunning on the skin . What shade do you have in the Chanel powder please ? 🥰💕
I found this video, and, wow, i'm not a makeup artist, it's a hobby for me, but your explanation is so super perfect, thanks so much!!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩I'm 52, almost 53 with dry sensitive skin. From the mentioned powders i love Louboutin most and after that the Westman Atelier. I hate the giant packaging from Louboutin, hope they ever come with sort of holiday powders like Charlotte Tilbury did, but love these, have 2 shades now. For pressed powders, i also love the Kosas. The Gucci i can re-discover, great idea, thanks!!! From loose powders for after the foundation i love the Asian/Japanese powders the most, Suqqu, Cle de Peau, and Koh Gen Do, as i also feel them on my skin, what they do for my face and that is also different than an Hourglass setting powder, which i love, but they take care of the skin. For under my eyes, it depends how dry, or less dry my skin and eyes are, but what never disappoints me is the Kosas. Good mentioning about the vitamin C in the WA, i did not know that, and i have sensitive eyes! Don't use it a lot as under eye powder, only did a few times, but the Kosas, the Louboutin and still the PMG feel better. But when i see makeup video's, so many products depend on, what is the season, how is my skin doing (use quite some medication) etc. But wow, gonna look were that Nars one is, love to learn from you, thanks so much, have a wonderful day!!!!😘😘😘😘
Hello I’m a new subscriber thanks for doing the excellent reviews but two things can you not only list the products but also the shades as it’s easier to reference also can you list what you personally have on including the shades ! I’d appreciate it so much. I’m also looking for a Chanel compact powder foundation review can you do one as everyone on you tube are using brushes instead of the sponge and why is the sponge part of the compact perforated ? Do you think it’s for when the applicator sponge is washed and damp thank you 🇬🇧
Cheri Voyage the other day I referred to your eyes shadows ,you had in the video. It is the same, you always look splendid and especially your eyes. Thanks
@@CHERIVOYAGE I tried it yesterday and today! I love it. Difficult to describe the soft, blurring, creamy quality on the skin - but I can see this for everyday use especially for my mature, large pore areas. Great demo😉❤️
Nice video. Lots of information. What powder would you recommend to set concealer? I need to use powder on my under eye area to try to avoid mascara transfer. I also have mature oily skin, not as oily as when I was younger but still definitely oily, plus I need a powder to tone down the oiliness that SPF gives me. I was thinking this morning of getting the Chanel lose power because I know it’s mattifying, but you’ve interested me in the Laura Mercier and the Christian Louboutin powders, but I wonder how they do on the under eye area, although I’m open to use different powders for different purposes / areas of my face. Thanks!
Hi Cheri, thanks for sharing your make up wisdom once again :) Sorry if I missed this, but is there a powder that you would recommend for us with dark spots? I have noticed that after concealing my dark spots, the Chanel loose powder sort of cancels the effect of the concealer. The Pat McGrath under eye powder works better over my dark spots, I would just prefer not to use it all over my face. If I found a setting powder that controls oils, yet does not look dry, and is dark spot friendly, I would be in powder heaven. I hope you're having a great day!
@@CHERIVOYAGE Thanks for the tip, Cheri! WA is not available where I live but I might be able to order from overseas. :) I'll definitely have to look into color correctors! I'll start by browsing your existing videos but if you haven't made one on color correcting dark spots yet, I hereby put in a request for your kind consideration :)
Thank you so much, Cheri! I'm fair and cool-toned, so I struggle to find powders that don't change the color of my foundation to yellow. Even the Chantecaille Blur Finishing Powder that everyone raves about gives me a yellow cast. I love the Pat McGrath under-eye white setting powder, but it can have the opposite effect and make me look like a ghost.
The Banana powder by Pat is quite balanced, despite its name. The color is close to the shade Creme of Westman Atelier Vital powder. If you can swatch the Banana powder, give it a try 😉
@@CHERIVOYAGE - You are amazing. I picked up the WA powder in Bubble. On first application, I love it. We'll have to wait and see how it does throughout the day. I suspect it will need a touchup. I also grabbed the Chantecaille HD powder for the t-zone area. *fingers crossed on that one, too*
Hello Cheri ! Thanks for the video! Great ! But I still use my Studio Fix from Mac ♥️, I love it , it covers all and it‘s „ natural „ .. And a longtime ago, I used Givenchy Prisme.. It was AMAZING! 🌻💋
Excellent list Cheri. So many new things to try. I was in the market for a new face powder so this is very helpful. I was wondering how you feel about Givenchy’s prism libre powder and if you recommend it? I’m interested in its colour correcting abilities but not sure if it’s good for 40-plus aging dry skin? As usual your video is perfectly concise and educational. Thank you! ✨✨
I look for a Medium to full coverage.... unfortunately i live in a City where we do not get all these brands...just online. Probably I need to try Chanel.
I am loving the Dior Velvet as foundation and as a touch up powder to keep in my purse. It truly does do it all for my oily skin. I just ordered the Louboutin powder. I can’t wait to dip in it 🤗💜 great video as always. My Chanel always hard pans and I got rid of it, but it is beautiful
Hi Cheri, I am a new subscriber and find you are head and shoulders above the rest. Isn’t she great? I find the Chanel powder very closely performing to the Dior velvet powder, slightly more mate but not a flat mate.
I hate what they did with the Dior Forever Skin Glow foundation. Thank you for sharing recommendations for our age group and combo/dry skin!

Which one is better? (Forever control or Forever natural Velvet?) please reply 🙏🏻🙏🏻
