How about adding new units? Like flamethrower, medic, etc. But you can only bring 5 unique troops to battle, so you have to choose before entering the battle Edit: wow, so many comments thanks guys Anyway, here's my idea 1. Flamethrower unit have his own gasmask, but doesn't make units around him wear gasmask, and he have a chance to explode on death 2. Medic unit will help units that are injured, maybe add a health system where the lower the unit health the slower he get and lower his accuracy 3. Units that places mine on the battlefield, so he'll run in front of your trench and place mines (maybe also make the unit able to deactivate enemy mines) 4. Trainer(?) Able to support units, making them faster and stronger
there is a potential problem with that, you could accidentally pick a bad unit comp and then the entire game is not fun. It's gonna be much harder to balance too.
For vehicles: (please upvote the list, if they get added it will allow a lot of nation difference) - Germany mainly made heavy armor : *A7v*, and *K-Wagen* was a prototype that would even have flamethrowers. For lighter vehicles they would only have captured vehicles or armored cars - Britain had both medium and heavy armor : *Whippet*, the *Mark* series with machinegun versions and canon versions. They too have armored cars. Fun fact : The mark series chassis was used for the first Self propelled Artillery and first armored troop carriers, could be boss fight - France had *Schneider* and *St Shamond* tanks with bigger guns that were more like casemated SPGs than tanks, and then the renault tanks that were much faster and better at traversing no man's land and could get either canons or mgs (can be a choice in the tech tree). Like most they had armored cars. Renault was also used as a radio tank i believe in a special modification - Russia (imperial) had a few prototypes : the *Tsar Tank*, *Mendeleev tank* (that was more of a mobile bunker with a big gun than a breakthrough tank) but were mainly using armored cars since the terrain wasn't so bad. Later during civil war they got Renault FTs and Mark tanks. - Russia (Red) : Armored cars, captured Renaults and Mark tanks - Austria-Hungary : Hungary had a prototype for a light machinegun tank *Burstyn Motorgeschütz*. Also as usual, armored cars. Other than that, due to mountains, not a lot of armor was ever used - USA : They used renaults/mark tanks, tho by the end they tried to make their version of the Mark series, the *Liberty* tank. That's all the WW1 tanks i can remember, but that's quite a lot already! So have fun!
I think we should stay away from prototypes, two Renault FTs shouldn’t be able to kill a K-Wagen because the K-Wagen was so strong, but for balancing reasons has to be on par with a Mark Tank. Germany can get some captured tanks, and some nations should get a small cavalry troop of varying sizes as a replacement tank.
@@carrott36 yeah cavalry could work for everyone. But K-wagens could be very expensive and/or a boss mob in endless wave. Technically if you want nation specific tanks, you have to edit them to balance them. The FT/whippet should be faster compared to other tanks and infantry, the heavy tanks being slower and maybe artillery have a delay so more chance to hit slower targets like heavy tanks
@@warbrain1053 I think we can find a tank with a heavy/light version that was actually made for nearly every nation, if not we use cavalry or armoured cars. Germany captured many, MANY more tanks than they made so the A7V could be a heavy tank and they can have captured tanks for light tanks.
@@carrott36 yeah but captured tanks may remove the charm. Yeah captured for maybe some nations but nation specific special units/superweapons sound good too. British SPGs, french assault guns, german/russian supertanks that cost over 1000 money and are very slow, italian mountaneers with armor, etc
For the maps aesthetically, I think the trenches should continue off-screen, like the river does. That way it seems like you are actually a part of a larger battle, and not just a one-off skirmish in the middle of nowhere.
Also, it would be cool if you could control the tank since it would be kinda weird for the tank to keep on going forever. So I would suggest like those buttons you have on those trenches with orders like stop, attack, retreat, or stuff like that. I always appreciate your work and hope you are able to finish it early for us to play :D
4th vid of showing my ideas. I said number 1 on a video, but I do not think you will check. 1.Add a sandbox mode with infinite money, medals, and no cooldown on units. You can also force enemy unit spawning, ability usage, and attack. Also, you can change the weather. 2. Day and night cycle (comes in with 3) 3.Add a feature in setting that makes weather changes mid game. If it snowed the snow was smaller and smaller effect and snow as time goes by, it rains it is mud for a few days, etc. 4. Trench were very, very dirty, so why not make feature that makes it to were trenches need cleaner or else units die. 5. Add hunger, if a unit does not have food for a day they will not fight. A day later they die. 6. In the research tree you choose from cheaper units or lower cooldown. Tanks can be faster or deal more damage. Artillery can deal more damage or fire more shells. Gas can last longer or go through gas masks easer. 7. Add a feature to select unit to attack or retreat rather than wasting all the units. 8.After a trench is taken then some unit might run away and are shot. The officer decreases the chance of this. 9. Add a bonus for a side EX Germans will not retreat from the field. The British get money faster. decrease
Suggestions: 1:you can upgrade the sub-machine gun to a Flame-thrower 2:an upgrade that you get reinforcements when the bunker get low (just like Stick-War Legacy) 3:you cant see the enemy in a foggy map (fog of war) 4:an upgrade that increases the artillery accuracy or the amount of shells fired 5:an upgrade that let the riflemen throw grenades
I really liked the idea of machinegunners coming out if you buy them, so why not do the same thing for when upgrading things. Whenever you want to upgrade something, 1 or 2 sappers will come out and start upgrading the thing you wanted to upgrade, making it so you can not just upgrade mid battle and raise your chances out of nowhere. The sappers can also be killed, meaning you need to have the area clear in order for them come through, they will upgrade it for 2-3 seconds, then they will go back.
This sounds like an idea I had a while back except I called them Builders (where they upgraded your base as well as trenches and weapon emplacements). Sure hope we see something like this in the game.
Baron create AI personality like forts were one guy give a research buff, and another give a artillery buff. They all could have pros and cons, that would be cool to see in this game.
So i noticed you offered 5 medals next to unlocking a 5 medal research. 5 medals or unlock gas. May be an idea to give every unlock a ranking system based on medal cost etc. Like using a thing you haven't unlocked has a half medal cost. Now you level up and you can either random the cost level up tree or make it static based on level. E.g. at level 4 you can unlock tank or gas or get 4 medals. Or level 2 you can use gas or tank or get 2 medals. I hope i made sense.
A few suggestions: 1. The ability to have soldiers with armor. 2. Signal Flares to help artillery accuracy at night or in rain. 3. Heavily upgraded trenches auto-equip masks for soldiers. 4. Grenadier or Bomber unit that deals lots of damage to soldiers in trenches and fortifications, and tanks. That or the ability to upgrade soldiers to have different types of grenades. 5. Fully upgraded machine gun nests are made of concrete and cannot be destroyed by regular gun fire unless the trench is captured(as in infantry have the ability to destroy the nest only if they capture the trench). A Grenadier unit, missile tank or artillery could destroy it normally. 6. Incendiary artillery. This could block off trenches from enemies with fire. 7. Engineer unit. Could build barbed wire, cover and tank barricades. 8. Multiple tiers of tanks. You could have to upgrade the previous tanks or just have another that is more expensive. 9. Artillery makes dents in the ground for soldiers to use as cover. In the rain, these holes could flood. 10. Different maps with new terrain, like forests, housing, cliffs, or even beaches for naval combat! 11. Destroyed objects can serve as cover for units. This would work well with suggestions 10 and 5. 12. New teams. You already know this though. 13. Sort of like AOE, you could have different phases in the war, like early war, middle war, and late war. Each would have their own tech trees, some unique units, and a Gargantuan unit such as an airship or big Giga Chad tank. You would have to wait for tech like flamethrowers, and tech like Cavalry would just disappear in the next phase. 14. A Storm unit with grenades, a sub machine gun, a club or a knife. This unit could tear down units similar to the shotgun but with more range and fire rate. A mobile machine gun! 15. A Medic unit that can heal wounded units. Maybe 2 in 10 shots depending on the weapon would only injure the soldier, not kill. They could be downed or something. 16. Trench improvements. You could build field/anti-tank guns or artillery that fire at things trying to cross no-mans land. This would probably come in the late game, (or middle war in suggestion 10)because it slows progress on assaults. Really good job on the game, and I think it's going to be great.
SUGGESTION: For the research tree I think that you shouldn't be able to decrease the price of troops as that could make the balancing of the game much harder. I also think that upgrades for trenches should take time and maybe some maps could have land mine fields. Also maybe you could have it kind of like stick war 3 in which you chose a handful of units however some could be faction exclusive.
You could also add temperatures where maybe if it’s super cold ice forms on the rivers which can get pockmarked by artillery turning that part into water where a unit could fall in and get stopped and maybe eventually killed.
I prefer stick empires where you are forced to use these units for this empire rather than stick war 3 where you can make a deck to completely counter the enemy units or the exact opposite
Maybe you could add rafts that allow the troops to move faster across water; you could maybe upgrade the rafts like machine guns or protection. You could also vary river sizes to make the rafts more worth while. Edit: Or pontoon bridges. Thank you vaxland mapping for that one.
@@vonRubentroph that would make sense because duckboards were placed in trenches to help stop flooding, they could also be used on a river in this situation
Hopefully this will help to improve the game. New Idea: 1. Add new Tanks ( from WW l ) 2. Add a mode called Defend the Trenches where you have 3 Trenches to protect. Each wave gets harder. The more you survive a wave the more you have to protect your trench before you start the next wave 3. Add a Bunker with a Artillery on it
Along with each faction having their own unique vehicles, what if each faction also had their own unique weapons? Even if it was just a visual thing, making each factions guns look similar to what was used by that side in the actual war could be really cool
Perhaps where the machine gun emplacement is you could have multiple options rather than just a machine gun (e.g. anti-tank gun, mortar, short range artillery, etc.) and give them all a similar upgrade tree to the machine gun. Also these different replacements should be tech tree unlockable starting off with the basic machine gun (can be accessible by right clicking the purchase icon with the starter unit being the machine gun alternatively if you hover your mouse over the purchase button and just purchase it instead of the typical machine gun with various prices with the anti-tank gun being most expensive, followed by the mortar with the machine gun being the cheapest. Another thing to do could be dynamic weather so after x amount of time (e.g. 5 mins) it would turn from night to day or vice-versa and things like rain last a random amount of time (e.g. anytime between 3 and 5 mins determined by a random number table in the code).
1.A duckboards across the trenches after a upgrade and the stick men walk faster across them because they don’t need to go in and out of the trench to get across 2.A.P land mines and A.T land mines you can place behind your first trench and mine sweepers 3.Being able to press the number keys on PC to spawn troops 4.Upgrading the artillery bombardment so it sends more shells. Upgrading the precision artillery so it sends two shells or more accurate. Upgrading the gas to have a higher chance to kill the enemy troops
1 Add upgrades to tanks and future cars 2 add upgrades to soldiers and future soldiers 3 add airports for planes and air support 4 add boats to get across the river faster 5 add outpost at river so enemy can't get across the river ez 6 add artillery cars so it can have better accuracy in night 7 for endless add bosses at each 10th wave 8 add rocks for attacking soldiers to hide behind 9 add oceans with ships 10 soldiers get hurt 11 add medics to heal injured soldiers 12 commanders can make formations 13 make guns that can take out incoming tanks. hope this can help :)
1. Have the trenches not straight and more natural or realistic maybe Curved a little or kinda zigzag 2.When it rains there’s like a 10% chance that the trench collapses on the units and does damage
And have just random rocks trees are like a building in the Area in between trenches just like for cover and some units could go behind it And it’s not just a wasteland kind of
Suggestion:You should add tank traps and barbed wires.Tank trap can be place near your fartherest trench,it can damage and disble the tank so it cannot move.Barbed wire that slow and damage infantry troops when contact, tanks can run over barbed wires
For Endless mode: Any tanks that make it off the screen deduct a certain amount of enemies from the next incoming wave, this would really help in the harder difficulties too!
Add an armored transport vehicle. It can carry like, 10 to 5 riflemen. It could cost about 400 to 500 stars. You can choose if you want to unload the troops or you can choose troops to get in. You can also choose for it to retreat back to base or charge. All about armored transport vehicle.
i think tanks could be affected by chem gas because the openings were not airtight and they didnt have gas masks, so if the crew died because of chemical gas, no one would be able to drive the tank and thus it would be classified as destroyed
You could add a nice little focus tree to the officer unit similar to HOI4. Like, you could right-click it, It would give you 3 or 4 options that allow you to specialize your officer. The officer could be upgradable to give buffs to tanks, give an attack bonus to all troops so they could charge faster, a defensive bonus that reduces the chances of one of your soldiers getting struck by a bullet while they're in a trench and you could also upgrade them into artillery specialists so artillery is more accurate and shoots more rounds.
I’ve always felt that having xp show level up options in the middle of a battle was distracting, so if you could save them and the player could use them later on, it would be nice.
Suggestion: maybe add a feature where it spawns two or three infantry just to make it more effective or allow it to upgrade to allow more units to be summoned
Suggestion. Maybe Add Like Custom GameModes Like No Trenches and Rush Only and sniper only game mode and like a zombie mode and add like uniform to stickman and a bag that holds a lantern and change one thing about the waves if you pass a wave make it like u got money ike 15k for wave 50 like that and when an artillery shoots and misses add a big hole And An Engineer that can build more machine guns barb wires reinforce more trenches and expand trenches and add a jeep that can transport 24 units and make the units able to fire while theyre in the car And for messing porpuses add reloading :) and add swiming animations and make the river more deep so when tanks go to the river they like half of their body sunk in river and when artillery fires in it creates big splashes
-Add Landmines -For the British add the Thompson submachine guns -For the Germans add the MP40 -Add Allies to help the British -Add the Axis Forces to help the Germans -And more Allies to attack the Germans like you said. -Add more Axis Forces to attack the British
you could add air support/paratroops that come with machine guns every time your opponent gets close to your base. but it only happens once every set time. or you can use air support with points that will spawn riflemen instead of machine guns.
Now that you've added water river things to the maps I suggest adding a little more depth to the water so that if artillery fired into the river, the river would get too deep for them to wade across of so I would also suggest adding cool swimming actions, also some new units like the medic or the flame thrower. You could also add tank barriers that could stop the tanks coming in from the direction of the barrier until it manages to break through. I love ur videos so pls the new updates :D.
Now that you have terrain factors, maybe the ability to buy barbed wire when upgrading trenches or spikes to slow down enemy vehicles. Also could just be static like the rivers are on different maps
A pretty good idea I just had is that each faction had one or two special units that only they have access to. Whether it’s a flamethrower for merica or some sort of extra mustard gas thing for Germany, or for Russia when you click is a bunch like eight weak units with an smg spawn in and rush as fast as they can.
Could be interesting to add bridges that can be build and/or destroyed to the game, that way you can make it so that your units move faster over the river, or if your doing badly and slowing the enemy by destroying a bridge might save you.
Suggestion: I think you should make it so that different countries would have a special buffs and debufs for their nation so maybe gas costs less or a unit can be produced slightly quicker without research or run quicker or abilities cost less but maybe some troops are slower or unlocking some unit requires more medals
Pretty late because I had to brainstorm and here is my suggestion: Make each faction (if your actually adding more faction aside from Germans and British) have different units/abilities like British can have more defenses like mortar placement while Germans have stronger tanks. It's up to you but that's my idea.
A good idea would be adding a bazooka or anti tank rocket that only fire once every charge or enemy attack. And tanks will be its priority target ( will fire at tank instead of infantry ). And will be Mildly expensive.
I think, instead of making the artillery have a more vague area at night or in fog, it should increase the chance of it missing the unit, making it hit accurately, but kill less units. As you said, different countries should have different skills and specialties, for instance one country could be good at controlling water, air support etc. Bots could maybe also each have their own style of play with different names, so their is one that like to sent takes, stack riflemen, defend more etc. So you would need different strats for different bots.
Suggestion: make the officer's gas mask be unlocked after researching gas mask. Suggestion 2: Let research increase weapon's damage. going off suggestions i like to ask, how much will the game cost? i cant imagine it being just free.
Oh you want new troops? Idk if their in the game but here Minigunner Grenader Shotgunner Medic/ healer Flamethrower Ok for this troop I forgot the weapon but basically it throws a explosive bottle that’s leave fire on the ground. Ok now for water vehicles to get across water or attack from the water Normal boat Warship Submarine Now land vehicles Jeep Truck Tanks (which you do have I think) Explosive car Now for air vehicles Jet/plane Helicopter (weapons of your choice) Bomber And now for utilities Claymore/landmine Mud trap Tank traps Fire trap Missle launch Anti missle Now for power ups Troop speed More damage Faster fire rate Now for the final one you should add sandbox Your welcome
Suggestion: You would be able to upgrade your trench to level 5 maximum. Level 4 would just add barbed wire spread infront of the trench, that slows down enemies, similar to water. Level 5 would add some czech hedgehogs, which when a tank comes in contact with would make them slow down and move away. It would also add anti-tank/anti-infantry mines that would explode either when coming in contact with infantry or Tanks. The location of the mines aswell as the hedghogs would be in a random pattern in a radius of 10 meters infront of the trench (czech hedgehogs and mines would be able to stack on top of each other).
I think you should be able to lock certain units in trenches so that when you attack, they can stay behind and support you or not die from the attack. The trenches are crowded, so IDK how you would implement it.
Idea: make different tanks for each factions and make to separate modes like WW1 mode and WW2 mode another idea: when trenches get bombed and the shells hits the sand bags some troops will try to rebuild the Trench after the bombing
you should add stuff like trees and rocks that obstruct vision and provide cover. maybe(and this might be too much to ask) A city map where there are buildings that you can hide in and trenches in the street. Perhaps Have a woods map were you can hide troops behind trees. Make the maps more dynamic. Oh here's an idea, seasons Like winter spring summer fall and early winter. in winter your troops are slow, and can get killed by cold related deseases unless you upgrade them to have coats. in summer they can die of heatstroke if they have too much gear or a gas mask. spring it just rains a lot. fall doesn't really do much. It is just like, regular mode. early winter slows you down in the mud + normal winter negatives. also seasonal camouflage.
Idea: New Vehicle "THE HUMVEE" Can Hold 1 Machine Gunner Or Sniper But The Chances Of The Unit Getting Hit Is Higher. Then For The Passengers The HUMVEE Can Hold 4 People. The Humvee's Health Is The Same As The Tank But A Little Faster!
SUGGESTIONS: You should add medics where when they “die” they will have 10 seconds of o get revived by the medic or they will die, also you should add mechanics to pose as the medics for the tanks. I haven’t watched all the vids yet but if you didn’t add this you should add muddy floor/ground so infantry get slowed and tanks get slowed or maybe stopped. You should also add mines for for a new upgrade for the trenches so the troops and tanks can get stopped.
video 7 of asking for a flamethrower unit and every unit has a tech tree so that a shotguner turns into a flamethrower and the sniper turns into an anti armor unit and when its rainy the trenches fill a little bit with water and did you forgot about a Kampagne
Idea: what if there was a upgrade that needs multiple upgrades from 2 different units like the officer and the artillery, if you upgrade the officer to get a specific upgrade like a radio it will increase the officers range but if you have another specific upgrade for the artillery for example faster reloading (lower cooldown) you can use special tactics like a creeping barrage or something like that, i think it would be cool. (it wouldnt necessarily be releastic for a single artillery piece to create a barrage that would cover the entire map same goes for the officer having advanced gear for his time saying this is ww1 and the officer had a modern radio because im not really sure about history if the british/germans had radios but this is just an example baron can make it different units and different upgrades but yea.) SECOND IDEA: what if the germans and the british had their own tanks like for the british the mark 1 and the germans a7v instead of 2 different tanks
For the vehicles, what if there was heavy, and light tanks. And heavy tanks could be the av7 for the Germans and the mark v for the brits. And also change the light tank for the Germans to make it look different. And now for custom mode, pls add the ability to put stuff in the battle, like decorations such as: corpses, dead trees, destroyed houses ect
NEW UNIT IDEA Horse: Vehicle class unit, Charges forward doing large damage to troops, perhaps if you add the french you can add a long plains map For it?
Baron, add the ability to spawn barbed wire, or make the existing barbed wire kill, slow, or wound troops. You could also create a campaign or some sort of "Commando " level ??
My suggestion is there to be hills or mountains. Like where you could put unit's inside. Or on top of the mountain and if enemies are attacking the mountain they'd have to raise a flag. 2 it would also be cool to have different water depths so the enemy crossing. The river would get slowed down even more.3 it would also be cool if instead of walking over the water you have to buy rubber boats. 4 would be good to have a limit on the rubber boats you can buy. Also that depending on the special weather the currents of the water change having a higher chance for the rubber boats to sink or capsize. 5 Also would be cool to add another unit like spotter that increases accuracy of artillery and buffs soldiers in the trench giving them more range.6 And you can also add a flamethrower unit to clear out bunkers faster but if they die the fuel explodes killing the flamethrower and soldiers nearby. 7 last i think you should add a "specialist kind of unit" that ecxeels at everything but gas and health.
Hey Baron, great video love how the game is progressing magnificently. I have couple of suggestion regarding armor for both sides: 1. Machine Gun Jeeps - They can be use for transporting men at a high speed to a capacity of 5 units. One will be the gunner and 4 other are riding cannot drive in the water 2. Zodiac boats - Transport men up to 6, travels in the river at a rapid speed, cannot drive on land. If any of these ideas need tweaking please do just giving you some suggestion of which you can build on Cheers
Let factions have special traits: India(British Raj)-cheaper units France-Colonial Forces Britain-More money Germany-Better heavy duty USA-Move faster in water ETC
U could add a forest! And thr troops could use the trees as cover and if u wanted to go 1 step further if the tree sustains enough dmg it could fall down and dissapear!!!
Suggestion: maybe you should add gunner planes to stickman trenches and planes that drop nukes for a lot of medals and a bomber plane that you can decide where too drop the bombs.
But I was thinking you could build a airport for 1000 medals so the planes to take off for battle and when you click on the airport you could send a different plane out of the battlefield to attack
Then you could also add anti air guns to shoot down the planes and when the planes go down they make a big explosion. But you can medals in the plane and use the extra metal to convert into medals
i think you could make troops have to be unlocked by completing certain missions in the campaign. a troop you could add is an engineer that can make sandbag walls that multiple soldiers can stand behind. another idea is that you could make other factions with different troops and not just different helmets but maybe clothes Aswell. you could also make battlefields for tanks that fight in stationary bunkers
1. Rifle men could be given anti tank gear when upgraded in the skill tree 2. You could add or use a heavy mark 1 tank as an upgrade or an expensive special unit. 3. Maybe concrete trenches when fully upgraded and concrete pillboxes for fully upgraded machine guns. 4. Anti tank cannon for for trenches and splash damage. 5. Play as austria-Hungary, Russia, Italy, Australia factions
There should be the following features: For the Skill tree: Bayonets-allows riflemen to use their bayonets when 2 forces battle in no mans land Night vision googles- takes of modifiers regarding the accuracy of artillery Recon unit- makes artillery more accurate, focusing the bombs on enemies(when the map has the midnight /thick fog ,this unit takes of the modifiers regarding the artillery's acuracy) Engineer -gives the trench he is in a half of an upgrade(only one half per trench aka 2 engineers =1 upgrade for the trench they are occupying ) Heroes - stronger versions of already existing units or entirely new and unique units(edit from the new comment) More Accurate sights- increases the chances of infantry hitting their shots Events-every day a custom gamemode can be played on a custom map(potentially made by players if this feature will be added ), for instance: Bombed Battlefield - craters and bomb shells are left from previous battles, giving cover for attackers.(if a crater is near a tranch, then shtogunners can enterthe trench via the hole for massive dmg posiblities ) Airstrike Assault- ever so often no mans land will be bombed via airplanes Boss fight-a very strong unit /group of units will be in the middle. The players objective- to oof the soldier/soldiers in the middle New Vehicle Ideas: Transport Truck- can take units in and transport them to a given position Buggy- a fast but light vehicle with a machine gun operator in the back, firing suppressive fire .Units under suppressive fire are forced to lay down unless they are in a maxed out trench land & water vehicle -can transport units across water or land New unit ideas: Trench Digger -1 trench digger cannot use his ability, which is making a new trench on the map, which cannot be upgraded. When these units are ordered to attack, when there is an opening in the sandbags they will use it to enter the trench and give foes the shovel Bombardier - medium -range units that fire bullets from SMG's and also use bombs to clear enemy lines Medic-units that focus on healing others and keeping them in the fight Flamers-units that use flamethrowers to roast enemies from up close. These units also don't need officers to get gas masks Grenadiers - units that use grenade launchers to make enemies cry for their mamas .They also do more damage against heavy vehicles
A simple suggestion would be to make the officer give some kind of morale boost to the troops for slightly increased firing rate and/or movoment speed + a whistle sound effect when a trench with an officer in it is about to charge. Maybe you could also add a map with realistic trenches (zig-zag shaped)?
O WAIT BARON. WHAT IF WHEN YOU HIT THE TANKS WITH CHEM GAS THE TANK WILL BE INACTIVE AND U WILL NEED LIKE STICKMEN TO REMAN THE TANK BECAUSE THE OPERATORS INSIDE THE TANK IS DEAD DUE TO GAS. You can also choose which units you want(Officers will do their gas working job being useful), the limit inside of men inside the tank are 8 like in irl ww1 british tanks
1. Trainer(?) Able to support units, making them faster and stronger 1. Flamethrower unit have his own gasmask, but doesn't make units around him wear gasmask, and he have a chance to explode on death 2. There are two options for anti-tank: 1. Artillery borne mine laying. Mines are invisible to all players regardless of who laid them and friendly units can be affected by friendly mines. Damage should be divided among unis in a mines effect radius so that a mine can take out a solo tank but tank + ground units only get severely damaged in proportion to the number of units in the mines radius. 2. A combat engineer class. This could add a whole new level of depth to the game but as far as anti-tank goes they could be used to build hedgehogs. They're those giant metal crosses you see on WW2 beaches. They should have a reasonable amount of health but be really easy to miss and larger strikes have the chance to move them. Outside of anti-tank The combat engineer could be its own tech tree. I'd say there should be three tech trees; units, artillery, and engineers. Units should progress from foot soldiers with various arms, medics, commanders, engineers, then move through the vehicle ranks. There could also be additional upgrades for commanders like tactical retreats (auto retreat from if incoming units have an overbearing force), chemical readyness, life support, etc. And commanders should be permanently stationed at a trench and individually upgradeable. The artillery tree can work a few ways. First progressing through types. Blanket munition, precision strike, and mine layer all independently researchable. Then each can be upgraded. Blanket munition can have two options; change airburst level (affecting spread) or shell density (affecting the number of impacts.) Precision strike can improve accuracy where you first start with the ability to get reliably close to a trench with massive damage (slowing all units in the affected areas) and upgrading until you select the unit you want to hit and your artillery will lead them and fire at where that unit will be at when the round reaches then. Then the minelayer can upgrade the number of mines laid. Finally, the engineer class can add so much. Hedgehogs like I mentioned. But roads to supply controlled trenches more quickly. Roads whose efficiency can be affected by artillery strikes and mines. Bridges for different unit weight classes. Build triage tents. They should need to be present to make any upgrades to a trench.
SUGGESTION: factions have diffrent research trees, lets say for the British, they get faster rifleman production as first upgrade then seconed machine gun tank gets more HP and costs less and last upgrade would be that normal tank costs less does more damage and has more HP and the germans first upgrade would be faster rifleman production seconed upgrade would be stronger machine guns (not the troop, the turret) and they cost less, third upgrade would be cheaper base upgrades stronger rifleman on the base and extra cash per second

Suggestions: 1. Russian tsar tank, British mark V, armoured vehicles 2. I feel like it would be cool to add a sabre unit: good at charging and bad at defending. 3. Also I would like the battles to last a bit longer so they would be even more epic and also for the screen offering rewards to show up at a corner so it doesn't interrupt the scene? 4. How about a medic unit? I feel like that could make some new strategies to the game 5. Airstrikes would be really cool. You could have planes streaking across the sky. Two types mabe: One very accurate, like a bomb, and another less accurate and more of a machine gun 6. If you add a flamethrower it could deal damage to multiple units at once but it DEALS the damage slowly, so it would be more of a support unit P.S once you are able to, please think about releasing this to mobile
Yes you once said you wanted to add creator by art, but you could also have the attackers or defender be able to hide in the creators. Author idea is to add shell shock men, like if a are shell hits right next to them they don't die but get shell shock. And it slows there running speed or accuracy. Lastly, when you send your men in for a attack if you have a officer he would blow a whistle to signify a attack.
add a maximum cap for ppls in the trench, like 30 or 40 at lvl 3, and llike 10 at the lower levels or smt. (the balance is always tricky) And then let the previous trenches mount to backup if ppl die and such. Thay way, the amount of trenches you own, determines your total troop count. Also, consider a way to add passive income, such as a bank or wahtever, which can be upgraded, to maybe give some playsyle differences bewteen trench rush and turtle strat
Suggestions: Because there will be different factions French, German, British and Americans besides different helmets they should have different attributes 1: For the British have the Mk IV tank 2: For the Germans have stick grenades and the elite ‘Sturmtruppen’ 3: Further in development you could also add planes where perks or units are also faction specific, for example; Have the red baron & zeppelins for Germany 4: For the Americans, have cheaper shot gunners as they are the ones who introduced them into the war 5: Have the German gas attacks be stronger than than the rest 6: Have at least 2 more unit types; i.e. have a medic and flamethrower 6: This is just for cosmetics; but you could also change the skins of the rifles and add more things to no man’s land 7: once you control an area between 2 trenches you should be able to add barbed wire and mines, which slow down units or do extra damage against infantry… but this should have no effects on tanks as they would destroy the wire by driving through it.
Hey baron, love the vids! I have 2 suggestions. 1. A jeep that will pick infantry out of trenches and deliver them quickly throughout the battlefield. You will be able to put 10 on at once and decide how many infantry go on or go off at a trench. Maybe it could have a machine gun? 2. Perhaps zeppelins could be used to provide cannon and machine gun support for extended periods. You could maybe have artillery destroy them?
Suggestions: 1: Multiplayer, Co-Op 2: Sniper buff (he can do more damage to machine gun so you can use sniper for attacks too) 3: Mug when it's rainy (Trenche forward is get muggy and it can be kill your soldier like %30 chance to lose a soldier in mug)
I love this game! I also have some suggestions: 1. You could make a flame-thrower unit 2. Each country could have it's unique abilities, for example, the British could make tanks for a cheaper price, since they created the tank. 3. Units in different countries could have their differences, like different tanks or main bases Hope this game gets better and better :)
How about adding new units? Like flamethrower, medic, etc. But you can only bring 5 unique troops to battle, so you have to choose before entering the battle Anyway, here's my idea 1.
The addition of combined arms warfare would be amazing, you could have an option for a reconnaissance for a more precise artillery attack or one for a bomber.
How about laying the person playing play as their own soldiers that would be kind of cool like you can shoot by clicking the shoot button and you can move by using your finger or whatever you’re using
How about adding new units? Like flamethrower, medic, etc. But you can only bring 5 unique troops to battle, so you have to choose before entering the battle
Edit: wow, so many comments thanks guys
Anyway, here's my idea
1. Flamethrower unit have his own gasmask, but doesn't make units around him wear gasmask, and he have a chance to explode on death
2. Medic unit will help units that are injured, maybe add a health system where the lower the unit health the slower he get and lower his accuracy
3. Units that places mine on the battlefield, so he'll run in front of your trench and place mines (maybe also make the unit able to deactivate enemy mines)
4. Trainer(?) Able to support units, making them faster and stronger
I had this same idea but you said it way better
I have suggested flamethrowers before so I hope you get it added
Yeah like you could pick 5 out of many types of units for the battles
there is a potential problem with that, you could accidentally pick a bad unit comp and then the entire game is not fun. It's gonna be much harder to balance too.
RPG unit
For vehicles: (please upvote the list, if they get added it will allow a lot of nation difference)
- Germany mainly made heavy armor : *A7v*, and *K-Wagen* was a prototype that would even have flamethrowers. For lighter vehicles they would only have captured vehicles or armored cars
- Britain had both medium and heavy armor : *Whippet*, the *Mark* series with machinegun versions and canon versions. They too have armored cars. Fun fact : The mark series chassis was used for the first Self propelled Artillery and first armored troop carriers, could be boss fight
- France had *Schneider* and *St Shamond* tanks with bigger guns that were more like casemated SPGs than tanks, and then the renault tanks that were much faster and better at traversing no man's land and could get either canons or mgs (can be a choice in the tech tree). Like most they had armored cars. Renault was also used as a radio tank i believe in a special modification
- Russia (imperial) had a few prototypes : the *Tsar Tank*, *Mendeleev tank* (that was more of a mobile bunker with a big gun than a breakthrough tank) but were mainly using armored cars since the terrain wasn't so bad. Later during civil war they got Renault FTs and Mark tanks.
- Russia (Red) : Armored cars, captured Renaults and Mark tanks
- Austria-Hungary : Hungary had a prototype for a light machinegun tank *Burstyn Motorgeschütz*. Also as usual, armored cars. Other than that, due to mountains, not a lot of armor was ever used
- USA : They used renaults/mark tanks, tho by the end they tried to make their version of the Mark series, the *Liberty* tank.
Slight grammatical error it’s St. Chamond not Shamond
For the maps aesthetically, I think the trenches should continue off-screen, like the river does. That way it seems like you are actually a part of a larger battle, and not just a one-off skirmish in the middle of nowhere.
A new ground texture would be nice too.
2. Day and night cycle (comes in with 3)
3.Add a feature in setting that makes weather changes mid game.
The British get money faster.
decrease
Suggestions:
1:you can upgrade the sub-machine gun to a Flame-thrower
2:an upgrade that you get reinforcements when the bunker get low (just like Stick-War Legacy)
3:you cant see the enemy in a foggy map (fog of war)
4:an upgrade that increases the artillery accuracy or the amount of shells fired
5:an upgrade that let the riflemen throw grenades
Good suggestion but literally NO one asked for your edit.
(He deleted it nvm)
@@sabrinaduncan1459 no one asked you to say that
U are so mean
Has the same idea for fog and riflemen
@@sabrinaduncan1459 no asked for u to say that
I really liked the idea of machinegunners coming out if you buy them, so why not do the same thing for when upgrading things.
Good
This sounds like an idea I had a while back except I called them Builders (where they upgraded your base as well as trenches and weapon emplacements). Sure hope we see something like this in the game.
If you want that little extra flavour you can add a nations flag mounted to each frontline trench, and a white one for unowned/abandoned trenches
A few suggestions:
Brilliant idea
I prefer stick empires where you are forced to use these units for this empire rather than stick war 3 where you can make a deck to completely counter the enemy units or the exact opposite
@@goldngamer1365 I’m impressed by that idea
Maybe you could add rafts that allow the troops to move faster across water; you could maybe upgrade the rafts like machine guns or protection. You could also vary river sizes to make the rafts more worth while. Edit: Or pontoon bridges. Thank you vaxland mapping for that one.
Or make like makeshift bridge it makes vehicles and infantry move faster on water.
Make the building cost a little expensive so its worth the buy.
@@vonRubentroph that would make sense because duckboards were placed in trenches to help stop flooding, they could also be used on a river in this situation
@@vonRubentroph that could work and the enemy can use it as well so there a high risk high reward
Where the planes at
Pontoon bridges!
1. Add a flamethrower unit. 2. Add a medic that heals units around it. 3. Add snow which can make shots miss more. 4. Add a forest map.
Hopefully this will help to improve the game.
New Idea:
1. Add new Tanks ( from WW l )
2. Add a mode called Defend the Trenches where you have 3 Trenches to protect. Each wave gets harder. The more you survive a wave the more you have to protect your trench before you start the next wave
3. Add a Bunker with a Artillery on it
Along with each faction having their own unique vehicles, what if each faction also had their own unique weapons? Even if it was just a visual thing, making each factions guns look similar to what was used by that side in the actual war could be really cool
Or just Custom Units entirely, like If he adds Russia there could be Cossacks or the Germans could have Stormtroopers
1.A duckboards across the trenches after a upgrade and the stick men walk faster across them because they don’t need to go in and out of the trench to get across
2.A.P land mines and A.T land mines you can place behind your first trench and mine sweepers
3.Being able to press the number keys on PC to spawn troops
4.Upgrading the artillery bombardment so it sends more shells. Upgrading the precision artillery so it sends two shells or more accurate. Upgrading the gas to have a higher chance to kill the enemy troops
Along with the duckboard maybe a parapet with some uses like allowing one soldier on it further attacking range or something idk
1 Add upgrades to tanks and future cars
2 add upgrades to soldiers and future soldiers
3 add airports for planes and air support
4 add boats to get across the river faster
5 add outpost at river so enemy can't get across the river ez
6 add artillery cars so it can have better accuracy in night
7 for endless add bosses at each 10th wave
8 add rocks for attacking soldiers to hide behind
9 add oceans with ships
10 soldiers get hurt
11 add medics to heal injured soldiers
12 commanders can make formations
13 make guns that can take out incoming tanks.
hope this can help :)
1. Have the trenches not straight and more natural or realistic maybe Curved a little or kinda zigzag
2.When it rains there’s like a 10% chance that the trench collapses on the units and does damage
Tank traps stop tanks until you use demolition charges
For Endless mode: Any tanks that make it off the screen deduct a certain amount of enemies from the next incoming wave, this would really help in the harder difficulties too!
You should add selective movement as well for each unit to either charge or stay behind
Cool, this really should be added
-Add Landmines
-For the British add the Thompson submachine guns
-For the Germans add the MP40
-Add Allies to help the British
-Add the Axis Forces to help the Germans
-And more Allies to attack the Germans like you said.
-Add more Axis Forces to attack the British
Add the ability to move particular soilders and units between trenches rather than everyone in the trench
You should add a campaign mode where you choose where to attack and that effects the terrain and how many troops/ funds they can use.
you could add air support/paratroops that come with machine guns every time your opponent gets close to your base. but it only happens once every set time. or you can use air support with points that will spawn riflemen instead of machine guns.
The M1A1 Thompson wasn’t used in WWI, especially not by Russia.
@@carrott36 it was an example idk ww2 that wellll
Could be interesting to add bridges that can be build and/or destroyed to the game, that way you can make it so that your units move faster over the river, or if your doing badly and slowing the enemy by destroying a bridge might save you.
Suggestion:
I think you should make it so that different countries would have a special buffs and debufs for their nation so maybe gas costs less or a unit can be produced slightly quicker without research or run quicker or abilities cost less but maybe some troops are slower or unlocking some unit requires more medals
Pretty late because I had to brainstorm and here is my suggestion:
Make each faction (if your actually adding more faction aside from Germans and British) have different units/abilities like British can have more defenses like mortar placement while Germans have stronger tanks. It's up to you but that's my idea.
A good idea would be adding a bazooka or anti tank rocket that only fire once every charge or enemy attack. And tanks will be its priority target ( will fire at tank instead of infantry ). And will be Mildly expensive.
This has moved a lot since it was announced in October.
Yes
I'm so excited for this, and I really like following along in the development process!
Idk if their in the game but here
Minigunner
Grenader
Shotgunner
Medic/ healer
Flamethrower
Ok for this troop I forgot the weapon but basically it throws a explosive bottle that’s leave fire on the ground.
Ok now for water vehicles to get across water or attack from the water
Normal boat
Warship
Submarine
Now land vehicles
Jeep
Truck
Tanks (which you do have I think)
Explosive car
Now for air vehicles
Jet/plane
Helicopter (weapons of your choice)
Bomber
And now for utilities
Claymore/landmine
Mud trap
Tank traps
Fire trap
Missle launch
Anti missle
Now for power ups
Troop speed
More damage
Faster fire rate
Now for the final one
you should add sandbox
Your welcome
Oooh so cool
Yes
I think you should be able to lock certain units in trenches so that when you attack, they can stay behind and support you or not die from the attack. The trenches are crowded, so IDK how you would implement it.
Idea: make different tanks for each factions and make to separate modes like WW1 mode and WW2 mode another idea: when trenches get bombed and the shells hits the sand bags some troops will try to rebuild the Trench after the bombing
I was thinking the same thing.
you should add stuff like trees and rocks that obstruct vision and provide cover. maybe(and this might be too much to ask) A city map where there are buildings that you can hide in and trenches in the street.
I can see this game advancing greatly since it was released.
It hasn't released yet bro
Well duh the demo
Suggestion:
Especially with the water, I think there should be a chance for a soldier to get trench foot slightly, decreasing their movement speed.
hey baron you should add more countries and maybe add a gallopoli, it would be really cool
(it wouldnt necessarily be releastic for a single artillery piece to create a barrage that would cover the entire map same goes for the officer having advanced gear for his time saying this is ww1 and the officer had a modern radio because im not really sure about history if the british/germans had radios but this is just an example baron can make it different units and different upgrades but yea.)
SECOND IDEA: what if the germans and the british had their own tanks like for the british the mark 1 and the germans a7v instead of 2 different tanks
Idea: soldier crossing the water hold their guns up their heads for historical accuressy and they are actiuly in the water instead of their feet
you should add a leader to the enemy team that speaks in the middle of the battle and calls in artillery and stuff like that
For the vehicles, what if there was heavy, and light tanks. And heavy tanks could be the av7 for the Germans and the mark v for the brits. And also change the light tank for the Germans to make it look different. And now for custom mode, pls add the ability to put stuff in the battle, like decorations such as: corpses, dead trees, destroyed houses ect
NEW UNIT IDEA
Horse: Vehicle class unit, Charges forward doing large damage to troops, perhaps if you add the french you can add a long plains map For it?
You should add landmines to the game either you can place them or they randomly spawn at the start or as the game progresses
Baron, add the ability to spawn barbed wire, or make the existing barbed wire kill, slow, or wound troops. You could also create a campaign or some sort of "Commando " level ??
You should do it where the concrete in the machine gun when getting hit gets broken and also add more countries to pick from
My suggestion is there to be hills or mountains.
I think adding a multiplayer would be insanly fun :)
In the research map get an upgrade from anti tanks bombs you can place for like 100 points each so you can spam a tone of them
Hey Baron, great video love how the game is progressing magnificently.
I have couple of suggestion regarding armor for both sides:
1. Machine Gun Jeeps - They can be use for transporting men at a high speed to a capacity of 5 units. One will be the gunner and 4 other are riding cannot drive in the water
2. Zodiac boats - Transport men up to 6, travels in the river at a rapid speed, cannot drive on land.
If any of these ideas need tweaking please do just giving you some suggestion of which you can build on
Cheers
Let factions have special traits:
India(British Raj)-cheaper units
France-Colonial Forces
Britain-More money
Germany-Better heavy duty
USA-Move faster in water
ETC
🎉
But you can medals in the plane and use the extra metal to convert into medals
maybe add that you can control a soldier or tank like the stick war games . it could be cool and also adding new maps and stuff could be cool .
You should add British landships also known as Mark 1 tanks. If you add British landships can you add German A7V tanks.
You should be able to have commands on tanks like attack, Hold position, and fall back
i think you could make troops have to be unlocked by completing certain missions in the campaign.
a troop you could add is an engineer that can make sandbag walls that multiple soldiers can stand behind.
another idea is that you could make other factions with different troops and not just different helmets but maybe clothes Aswell.
you could also make battlefields for tanks that fight in stationary bunkers
1. Rifle men could be given anti tank gear when upgraded in the skill tree
There should be the following features:
For the Skill tree:
Bayonets-allows riflemen to use their bayonets when 2 forces battle in no mans land
Night vision googles- takes of modifiers regarding the accuracy of artillery
Recon unit- makes artillery more accurate, focusing the bombs on enemies(when the map has the midnight /thick fog ,this unit takes of the modifiers regarding the artillery's acuracy)
Engineer -gives the trench he is in a half of an upgrade(only one half per trench aka 2 engineers =1 upgrade for the trench they are occupying )
Heroes - stronger versions of already existing units or entirely new and unique units(edit from the new comment)
More Accurate sights- increases the chances of infantry hitting their shots
Events-every day a custom gamemode can be played on a custom map(potentially made by players if this feature will be added ), for instance:
Bombed Battlefield - craters and bomb shells are left from previous battles, giving cover for attackers.(if a crater is near a tranch, then shtogunners can enterthe trench via the hole for massive dmg posiblities )
Airstrike Assault- ever so often no mans land will be bombed via airplanes
Boss fight-a very strong unit /group of units will be in the middle. The players objective- to oof the soldier/soldiers in the middle
New Vehicle Ideas:
Transport Truck- can take units in and transport them to a given position
Buggy- a fast but light vehicle with a machine gun operator in the back, firing suppressive fire .Units under suppressive fire are forced to lay down unless they are in a maxed out trench
land & water vehicle -can transport units across water or land
New unit ideas:
Trench Digger -1 trench digger cannot use his ability, which is making a new trench on the map, which cannot be upgraded. When these units are ordered to attack, when there is an opening in the sandbags they will use it to enter the trench and give foes the shovel
Bombardier - medium -range units that fire bullets from SMG's and also use bombs to clear enemy lines
Medic-units that focus on healing others and keeping them in the fight
Flamers-units that use flamethrowers to roast enemies from up close. These units also don't need officers to get gas masks
Grenadiers - units that use grenade launchers to make enemies cry for their mamas .They also do more damage against heavy vehicles
Maybe a creeping barrage that reduces enemy accuracy while the troops charge
You should add a tank garrison upgrade to trenches to keep tanks next to them

There are two options for anti-tank:

Suggestions:
1. Russian tsar tank, British mark V, armoured vehicles
2. I feel like it would be cool to add a sabre unit: good at charging and bad at defending.
3. Also I would like the battles to last a bit longer so they would be even more epic and also for the screen offering rewards to show up at a corner so it doesn't interrupt the scene?
4. How about a medic unit? I feel like that could make some new strategies to the game
5. Airstrikes would be really cool. You could have planes streaking across the sky. Two types mabe: One very accurate, like a bomb, and another less accurate and more of a machine gun
6. If you add a flamethrower it could deal damage to multiple units at once but it DEALS the damage slowly, so it would be more of a support unit
P.S once you are able to, please think about releasing this to mobile
Maybe at night make it where it takes longer to shoot because it is harder to see😊
Yes you once said you wanted to add creator by art, but you could also have the attackers or defender be able to hide in the creators.
Suggestions:
Because there will be different factions French, German, British and Americans besides different helmets they should have different attributes
1: For the British have the Mk IV tank
2: For the Germans have stick grenades and the elite ‘Sturmtruppen’
3: Further in development you could also add planes where perks or units are also faction specific, for example; Have the red baron & zeppelins for Germany
4: For the Americans, have cheaper shot gunners as they are the ones who introduced them into the war
5: Have the German gas attacks be stronger than than the rest
6: Have at least 2 more unit types; i.e. have a medic and flamethrower
6: This is just for cosmetics; but you could also change the skins of the rifles and add more things to no man’s land
7: once you control an area between 2 trenches you should be able to add barbed wire and mines, which slow down units or do extra damage against infantry… but this should have no effects on tanks as they would destroy the wire by driving through it.
Idea: in ww1 they had sniper trees which are fake trees that looked like the trees of no man’s lands and snipers hid inside
Suggestions:
1: Multiplayer, Co-Op
2: Sniper buff (he can do more damage to machine gun so you can use sniper for attacks too)
3: Mug when it's rainy (Trenche forward is get muggy and it can be kill your soldier like %30 chance to lose a soldier in mug)
I love this game! I also have some suggestions:
1. You could make a flame-thrower unit
2. Each country could have it's unique abilities, for example, the British could make tanks for a cheaper price, since they created the tank.
3. Units in different countries could have their differences, like different tanks or main bases
Hope this game gets better and better :)
add the mark 1 but to make it more realistic make it have a 25% chance when spawned to explode or (fail) within 5 seconds
How about adding new units? Like flamethrower, medic, etc. But you can only bring 5 unique troops to battle, so you have to choose before entering the battle
I would find it cool when you would do Tanks that yourself can control and also if you do an smartphone version
I know this doesn't really fit the theme, but how about a missile launcher vehicle similar to death strike for Warhammer 40k?
The addition of combined arms warfare would be amazing, you could have an option for a reconnaissance for a more precise artillery attack or one for a bomber.
How about laying the person playing play as their own soldiers that would be kind of cool like you can shoot by clicking the shoot button and you can move by using your finger or whatever you’re using
