I hope that if anyone animates any of the scenes with Knuckles, he's not shown until someone refers to him, at which point the camera jerks over to him and you realize he's been standing just outside the frame this whole time. I also love the idea that whenever he's not participating in a scene, he's still there, just occupying the space right outside of the frame. And whenever it suits him, he steps into the shot, and only then can the other characters acknowledge him.

Well, if you think about it. Sonic is a teenager. and shadow is (mentally) an adult, Shadow is alot more mature than sonic and doesn't just drop f-bombs everywhere and besides, teenagers swear all the time.

I’m gonna be honest, the plot of this AI-generated script isn’t far off from the ridiculousness of a lot of actual Sonic games. And with a little clean up, it could be a legitimate plot for one of the comics.
As someone with a tic disorder, the idea that Sonic has Tourette's and "Ok. Let's get going, boys and girls! It's time to save the world" is a tic. Is HILARIOUS to me. (roughly 41:01)
Shadow seeing the dragon get decimated by the crashing monster, then proceeding to pull out a pistol for the first time in the script and popping two caps in its already destroyed head is so fucking hilarious to me. I want Shadow to shoot things in fear that they're gonna come back to life , it happens so much in cannon.
The best part of that to me is that it's probably the most in-character action Shadow took in the whole script. Has anyone here even seen Shadow the Hedgehog? That motherfucker LOVES pooping caps.

Alfred's reaction after the random camera change at 21:25 always gets me too. "I have an important mission for you--" *The camera cuts to an outside view of the entire room.* "What?! WHY?" I didn't even notice that the first few times but the absolutely unnecessary cut combined with his complete bewilderment is iconic.
I love how the person, who gave us "Pissing on the moon announcement" were not able to read "we did it! We saved the city" from first take, because of how absurd it sounds

Sonic's arc is actually pretty wild in this. At the start he feels depressed, he feels as though he failed as a hero, but he puts on a mask for a good portion of the episode pretending to be alright. However, the fact that he was breaking became clear in his change in behaviour (when he gaslighted Amy for example), which Shadow noticed. Shadow concluded that he must be under the control of the malicious Elise he encountered, but when he reached out his hand to help Sonic denied it. Upon confronting Eggman, Sonic saw an opportunity. Sonic wanted to join forces with Eggman and become a villain, no heroic responsibilities or crushing expectations, only to be turned down because Eggman saw how he lost his way. When Eggman helped him realise that, and refused any offer he made, he didn't just go back to normal. He did however decide to take on the Ultinate Lifeform and save the people of the world, even if his heart wasn't in it, because deep down he was still a good person. Finally, in the end Sonic sacrificed himself to save everyone, finally getting some well-deserved rest and cementing himself as a hero. Oh and then he turned into a human or sum idk
I just realized, the reason Sonic had depression at the beggining was cause he failed to stop some catastrophe (likely to do with the the intro featuring Eggman), and couldn't keep his promise to Elise. Which he ACTUALLY explains when they sit down at the campfire 😆 It essentially goes, the city was in danger and Sonic wanted to go help, but Elise (likely worried for his safety) made him promise not to leave the Hotel, which he agreed to. But his sense of heroism compelled him to leave anyway, and both he and Shadow worked together to stop the threat. But unfortunately, also caused serious collateral damage, which he felt extremely guilty for (according the beggining of the story, the "planet" was dying as a result of this encounter, meaning the "hole in the world" that he, Tails, and Knuckles visited was likely part of the collateral damage he was talking about at the campfire). Pick up the next morning with Sonic brushing his teeth and ruminating on what happened recently, and the story starts from there. Sonic asks Tails and Knuckles if they heard about the hole in the world, and Knuckles says he did. In fact, he's confused Sonic hadn't heard about it yet (little did he know, Sonic was partly to blame for the mess). Tails then says that he hadn't heard about it till now, but he DID see Sonic's face on the newspaper this morning. Sonic confirms this, and jokes that he was named the city's "greatest hero" (likely due to saving it from the robot horde yesterday), but it's clear he's overexagerrating. The way he says it was "just for the headline", makes it clear that not everyone saw him as a hero after causing so much damage, but even so, he managed to sweep talking about what actually happened under the rug until later..
"The mysterious man is revealed to be none other than... SONIC. No longer a hedgehog, but a human being." That's probably the most cursed sentence I've ever heard from something Sonic related and that's REALLY saying something!
I have no idea why but this description makes me visualize the original Sonic design in the live action movie but with a longer, furless body and very human hands.

I like how Knuckles' list implied that either 1. Knuckles is aware of the Fourth Wall, and/or 2. The Sonic Adventure games and Sonic Comics exist in-universe, and somehow the characters from those can help them fix the hole in the planet

While in Part 1 of Sonic Destruction, Knuckles is the only person that isn't lazy and/or insane (likely because he went to rehab after the events of the Sonic Riders dub). Character Development at its finest.
Honestly the Chili Dog Question does bring up a bizarre existential dread and horror. Something being an integral part of your identity... yet you have never experienced it, and cannot recall why it is important to you.

Though 'My Immortal' barely feels like a Harry Potter story, while 'Sonic Destruction' is (almost) exactly what an M-rated comic of Sonic would look like.

Ivor the Engine is a character... just not from the sonic universe. He's a sentient steam train from the welsh animated series of the same name from the 50s and 70s who can only communicate through his train whistle. I actually grew up watching Ivor the Engine on a DVD my mum bought, so it was completely fucking wild for me to see his name get thrown out by AI dungeon in 2021 as part of a Sonic script. Here's hoping he turns up again.

Sonic's arc is actually pretty wild in this.
At the start he feels depressed, he feels as though he failed as a hero, but he puts on a mask for a good portion of the episode pretending to be alright. However, the fact that he was breaking became clear in his change in behaviour (when he gaslighted Amy for example), which Shadow noticed. Shadow concluded that he must be under the control of the malicious Elise he encountered, but when he reached out his hand to help Sonic denied it.
Upon confronting Eggman, Sonic saw an opportunity. Sonic wanted to join forces with Eggman and become a villain, no heroic responsibilities or crushing expectations, only to be turned down because Eggman saw how he lost his way.
When Eggman helped him realise that, and refused any offer he made, he didn't just go back to normal. He did however decide to take on the Ultinate Lifeform and save the people of the world, even if his heart wasn't in it, because deep down he was still a good person.
Finally, in the end Sonic sacrificed himself to save everyone, finally getting some well-deserved rest and cementing himself as a hero.
Oh and then he turned into a human or sum idk
This is probably one of the greatest character arcs in the history of character arcs, and it amazes me that an AI wrote it.
I just realized, the reason Sonic had depression at the beggining was cause he failed to stop some catastrophe (likely to do with the the intro featuring Eggman), and couldn't keep his promise to Elise. Which he ACTUALLY explains when they sit down at the campfire 😆
It essentially goes, the city was in danger and Sonic wanted to go help, but Elise (likely worried for his safety) made him promise not to leave the Hotel, which he agreed to. But his sense of heroism compelled him to leave anyway, and both he and Shadow worked together to stop the threat. But unfortunately, also caused serious collateral damage, which he felt extremely guilty for (according the beggining of the story, the "planet" was dying as a result of this encounter, meaning the "hole in the world" that he, Tails, and Knuckles visited was likely part of the collateral damage he was talking about at the campfire). Pick up the next morning with Sonic brushing his teeth and ruminating on what happened recently, and the story starts from there.
Sonic asks Tails and Knuckles if they heard about the hole in the world, and Knuckles says he did. In fact, he's confused Sonic hadn't heard about it yet (little did he know, Sonic was partly to blame for the mess). Tails then says that he hadn't heard about it till now, but he DID see Sonic's face on the newspaper this morning. Sonic confirms this, and jokes that he was named the city's "greatest hero" (likely due to saving it from the robot horde yesterday), but it's clear he's overexagerrating. The way he says it was "just for the headline", makes it clear that not everyone saw him as a hero after causing so much damage, but even so, he managed to sweep talking about what actually happened under the rug until later..

Ivor the Engine is a character... just not from the sonic universe. He's a sentient steam train from the welsh animated series of the same name from the 50s and 70s who can only communicate through his train whistle. I actually grew up watching Ivor the Engine on a DVD my mum bought, so it was completely fucking wild for me to see his name get thrown out by AI dungeon in 2021 as part of a Sonic script. Here's hoping he turns up again.
