So Penny and co. have said some BTS things that I really think should just be immediate knowledge:
• The audio was deliberately jacked (off) to be intentionally awful and oppressive.
• Nobody had any idea that the branching cutscenes for Zelda/Peach would play back to back.
• The cast went into the dub with the character direction of "Be intentionally crass and unfunny, but with the idea and confidence that it is the funniest thing ever said".
• Snake not having an actor credit splash screen was fully unintentional.
• Red specifically asked to play Zelda, Peach, and Fox because they share several scenes together.
I find it funny that even when they intended for people to learn why the cast didn’t want to do a subspace dub, it still ended being the funniest shit they’ve done

Hearing Penny as Sonic at the end was such a grounding experience it single handedly prevented me from experiencing ego death watching this dub.

The best parts about the WARIIIOOOOOO bit is 1) the baseboosted screaming of 2 lines is already funny, and 2) the fact that Wario was in a bunch of scenes played almost exactly the same because of the Zelda/Peach choice, the voice line sounded almost exactly the same in those dual scenes, making Wario seem more like a genuine NPC with set dialogue instead of a character being dubbed over multiple times
This is the most chaotic dub ever, I couldn't tell what anyone was saying aside from the occasional "pizza tower" and "Jack me off". It's perfect.
