-Elise is a princess of a kingdom filled with hedgehogs
-is possibly related in some way to silver, so grew up around them
-has a habit of kissing and/or potentially marrying hedgehogs

So I noticed that AI Dungeon actually managed to make a weird connection between its two scripts. Remember in episode 1 when Elise yelled at Shadow and said he destroyed her village but he didn't know what she's talking about? Now in this episode we find out Silver looked like Shadow before a meteor fell down and destroyed the village and also made him look like Silver.

There were a few of those which makes me excited for episode three and I need to rewatch episode one now
I love how Sonic just starts beating the shit out of Jason and NOBODY tries to stop him. Not even the omnipresent Knuckles, who is physically stronger than him.
That crap sent me. The dude was just inflicted with punch upon punch, until his face was literally “smashed into a bloody pulp.” Jason must be as durable as diamond or something, since he somehow managed to survive that, though no doubt he must have received some serious trauma. Either Elise’s revival kiss in 06 passed on her evil qualities to Sonic and him dying *again* and getting revived *again* just became the icing on the cake, or the other reason could be that he just got tired of everyone’s crap and became Dark Sonic. You can actually see this getting foreshadowed in the Riders Dub.
Character development, everyone. At least more captivating than anything Pontac and Graff put out for any of their Sonic stories.

At the very least it's getting the newer VAs used to their characters and letting them figure out voices ahead of the dub, hence the inclusion of Chaotix

- Eggman refers to Gerald as his dad in both Sonic Destruction Ep 1 and in the Shadow Fandub.
- In the Shadow Fandub, Shadow becomes the King of Hell. At the beginning of Sonic Destruction Ep 1, Eggman calls Shadow ‘King Shadow’, meaning that Shadow is still the current King of Hell, and since we know now that Silver is the incarnation of Satan, who Shadow met/killed in the Shadow Fandub, it’s possible that Silver, being the reincarnation of Satan, still holds a grudge against Shadow from back when he was Satan and wants to get his title of ‘King of Hell’ back from him.
On an unrelated note, maybe the Shadow Fandub is the version of the Shadow the Hedgehog game we see in this episode. Gerald did say that it was based on the exploits of one of the candidates of the Daedalus Initiative after all.

You know, the fact that Jason King defended Eggman against his charges of genocide despite the fact he fully belived he was guilty makes me think Sonic beating him half to death was not completely unjustified

But Eggman is (if Gerald is to be believed) both actually innocent and supposedly not found guilty, which means there was evidence that Jason used to prove he wasn't guilty.
@@ashikjaman1940 True, but considering Jason's shock at the reveal, he obviously didn't buy it himself, wich means that he still defended Eggman under the assumption he was in fact guilty.
Also, judging from his reaction, he apparently didn't even consider that the military framed Eggman and was surprised in learning so, so if I had to guess the court probably just pardoned Eggman instead of judging him innocent.

It's similar to the first scene of '[Vinesauce] Joel - Blue Shell Incident', where Joel chuckled after saying the last word of Luigi's first line ("Just spaghetti on the rocks."), and kept it in the final cut since it sounded like Luigi was weeping (since Mario was seemingly assassinated 2 days ago).
I love the characterization that Gerald is some kind of boogeyman when he's really just a sad old man who said "Fuck you all!" in the most elaborate, over the top way possible.
Now that the shadow dub has been released, I'm hoping we'll get a conclusion to sonic destruction. I'm so genuinely invested that the idea of it never reaching it's end haunts me.
Shadows “shit” is unironically the best twist villain reveal I have seen.
If 'Sonic Destruction - Ep. 2' was rated PG, and thus was only able to include a single use of strong profanity, that instance would've been 'Shadow' uttering "Shit." after his accidental confession.

I love how Knuckles is the only half reasonable person in this entire story. He isn't that important, but it feels like he's an actual person who's in a crazy world, but doesn't realize how crazy it is... not counting the last scene.
