It just now occurred to me that the reason Gerald looks nothing like the one from the games and calls eggman “dad” is that, obviously, this is Gerald Robotnik II, eggman’s son who he named after his grandfather. This makes perfect sense and has no flaws or inconsistencies whatsoever.
Oh yeah, he just never turns up again. I would put him in elsewhere, but he's very detailed, so if i did put him in, he'd be drawn on a piece of card just like the old show.
Obviously, the sheer dedication to making sense of the AI’s madness is incredible, but I also really appreciate how the various out of character things are handled. From scenes in the “real” recording studio, to background characters getting reaction lines, to Red just being able to show up in-universe without any questions, it’s all incredible and adds a lot.
I like that this feels like the sonic characters just acting in a really shitty movie. I like how you manage to accurately capture the ai's character designs and are able to incorporate the out of character lines or when the cast is just talking. Also WHY IS ELISE HOT!?
The AI wanted Elise like that, so that's where i take it :P And yeah i love incorporating the laughter and stuff into the characters like the characters themselves are the actors.
I love how Knuckles, who was just the "strong, but stupid" stereotype in Sonic for the longest time (at least until Frontiers) is the only one here with more than half a braincell.

The shot at 40:56 of Amy walking towards the camera is so clean for an animatic, I can only imagine what it would look like fully animated! I also love that you kept in a lot of the inaccuracies of the script, really highlights just how absurd some of these scenes were!
Yeah as i was making that amy shot, i was thinking "This is gonna take a bunch of work... but i have to do it, it's the only way to convey what i see in my head" And yeah the script is ridiculous. I'm glad that still shines through
You somehow managed to make an actual cool design of The Ultimate Lifeform and make the fight against it believable. Love the tail/second head detail a lot.
It took a long time for me to finally remember to keep adding that tail head. I kept forgetting it in almost every shot. Good to know the hard work paid off!
This is the culmination of several instances of perfection combined into one big masterpiece. I deeply hope at least one of the Snapcube members sees this so they can bring far more attention to it and give you the respect, praise and fame you truly deserve for making this fantastic animation.

It helps that it's set in a context, in a proper scene. Most animators just animate that section, so don't have the luxury of the whole context making it that much better.

It's only slightly funny because the AI is crazy. What makes it hilarious is the comedic style of Snapcube's actors and the great visuals from this channel. And this is why AI will never fully replace human input in my mind.
Plus, a lot of the ai had to be babysat, so it wouldn't get into loops or forget things mid scene or be boring or weird and stuff like that. AI is involved, but the vast majority only works from human input.
Sonic the Human is the most horrifying, JJBA-looking monstrosity I've ever seen. 10/10. Also loved the Among Us invasion and action scenes, they were really well done???

I LOVE how fun this is in every aspect, it feels so genuine in the way it's composed and the way that different elements of humor are added really make it a fantastic adaptation of the original video! Also your storyboard and framing skills are genuinely impressive, the way you set-up shots is actually so good at sucking you into the action and scene, despite its insanity, it's just a really great display of talent!

That amy animation was a total decision moment, where i had to decide if all the work it would need to animate that would be worth it for the about 2 seconds of footage. And It was worth it. I'm glad i did it.
i saw this on my recommended and was like "no WAY" and within the first 3 minutes was really into some of the direction choices here and visual gags. the mid-episode card was such a good addition as well also well done on actually drawing my childhood fav ivor the engine!

God, the amount of work you put into this is just INCREDIBLE, not just with the artwork (which is already phenomenal) but the way you edited the audio into something so much more cohesive, and the shot composition making sense of all the AI's weird cuts... Like you didn't just animate the episode, you DIRECTED it!
If anything has ever deserved to be a ReAnimated Collab, it would absolutely have to be this. This is generally one of the greatest animatics I’ve ever seen, and the heart and ambition of the project shines through as such even when not every scene is fully animated. The process of animation would be greatly expedited if it was community driven, and the differing art styles would actually have contextual relevance because of the nature of this procedurally generated story. Even if this is all that the creator has in mind for their content, it remains one of my favorite videos on the entire site.
Thats a beautiful thing to say. I do think about what it would be like to have this fully animated, and really the only feasible way of doing it would be a community effort, or i get a ton of money to pay for it. It would be amazing if that ever happened, but that's a long way away. Maybe one day, have hope

You can tell by the way the artist drew Rouge's intro that they REALLY like Rouge like a based individual would. 10/10.

It's a very muscular scene
God, the amount of work you put into this is just INCREDIBLE, not just with the artwork (which is already phenomenal) but the way you edited the audio into something so much more cohesive, and the shot composition making sense of all the AI's weird cuts... Like you didn't just animate the episode, you DIRECTED it!
Editing is incredibly powerful, and knowing what to cut is a vital skill, so i'm glad i did it well

He was gonna be fully naked which is why every pose hides the goods, but then I thought "nah that won't fly on youtube"
If anything has ever deserved to be a ReAnimated Collab, it would absolutely have to be this. This is generally one of the greatest animatics I’ve ever seen, and the heart and ambition of the project shines through as such even when not every scene is fully animated. The process of animation would be greatly expedited if it was community driven, and the differing art styles would actually have contextual relevance because of the nature of this procedurally generated story. Even if this is all that the creator has in mind for their content, it remains one of my favorite videos on the entire site.
Thats a beautiful thing to say. I do think about what it would be like to have this fully animated, and really the only feasible way of doing it would be a community effort, or i get a ton of money to pay for it. It would be amazing if that ever happened, but that's a long way away.
