Ahhh!!! How exciting, and congratulations on the role. You'll definitely learn A LOT and definitely keep heavy tabs on the employee life cycle as wherever you go, you'll always be familiar with it. Thank you for watching and supporting✨💗
I am currently an admin assistant, but have always wanted to be in HR. I love the company I am at and my department, but hopefully I can find an hr assistant role within the company so I can continue to grow my career.
Definitely love this video, you helped by putting a lot of things into perspective. I will be starting my new role as Coordinator next week and I was a bit nervous until I watched your content. Thank you so much.
You'll do phenomenal! Especially if the company is larger and much more established! ❤️ thank you for watching and interacting with my channel. If you have questions just let me know how I can help!!! Even with outlook specifics to keep you organized you can message me and I can give you tips or something ❤️
@@alexandria9870 On my second week in this role, Wow!!! All I can say. This role requires one to be supper organized. What is best tip to ask your supervisor if you didn’t understand instruction because she/ he talks fast? I find this happening a lot especially using jargon . I feel so dumb asking repetition over and over. Also would appreciate some basic tips of staying organized on outlook.
New subscriber here!! Hey!! Omg your videos are so helpful as I am trying to break in HR!! Your explanation of the two was impeccable. Thank thank you thank you😆☺️
This is so great for me.. I just recently changed my major from Business Administration to Human Services.. I start courses in October, I don't know what I'm getting into, but I hope it's worth it!!!💯
You'll do phenomenal!! HR can be a bit of a roller coaster and sometimes stressful! But I have so much to give feedback on when it comes to finding a wonderful department and company to work for!
I am currently an Hr Admin Assistant. I am feeling confused in my role and am wanting to quit. I feel like my manager doesn’t really know how to communicate and wants me to guess when to help her. I also feel like she didn’t really train me well. Could you explain how your organization trained you for your role?
Hello! Thank you for your sharing and first off I am so sorry to hear that this has been your experience. I personally don't do well in positions where I don't understand my responsibilities. In my first two HR positions I was trained extensively on all of my responsibilities; I had a complete outline of my duties and was trained on a 3,6,9 month cycle and re-evaluated at a year. It was extremely organized and NOT all over the place.
I just started as an HR Assistant in order to gain some experience while I get my masters , but I’m debating on Coordinator or Generalist next for my career depending on how much experience is required . Do you work with any ? Do you ever see yourself in that role in the future?
Hello! Thanks for watching and interacting with my channel. I am currently an HR Specialist and previously held a Generalist role once I moved on from being a coordinator. The possibilities are endless when choosing where you want to go next from being a coordinator. You can look at specialist roles. Specialized roles, People operations, Generalist roles, Analyst, Benefits. Just wherever your niche is or where you see yourself progressing within your career.
So sorry to just now respond!! On the SHRM site in the search section you should be able to search compliance by state. It also depends on what in specifics you're looking for. But it should take you to a map where you can select the states you want to see and then a full menu of different law specifics, terminations, final pay wages, labor laws, etc.
I’m thinking of getting into school for a career in HR & a school I’m looking at offers a Human Resource Management Certificate in Applied Science. Do you think that’s ok to start out with for an entry level position?
Did you obtain your Human Resource Management Certificate in Applied Science? I know it’s been 2 years but I am also interested in HR field. I am thinking about pursing a associates degree in Applied Science in Human Resources Management. Thanks 😊
Wow , I have an upcoming interview and been reviewing a lot of different videos, I have to say you have been one of the best!
How was the interview

Just came across a great company that gave me an Onboarding Coordinator role while still pursuing my degree ❤❤
Congratulations!!! 🎊🎈🎉 that's super exciting! The company I am at now does the same so that's going to help me finish off grad school!
