Question: Do most of you folks start this game on veteran difficulty, or on regular? In the description it stated more xp and gold, so I went with that.
I disagree with making sure you max your renown with all areas before 50 just for the extra paragon points. And not because they aren’t very worth it. Its because time spent is time spent. And trying to crush maxing your renown plus campaign before 50 just feels smushed. Like trying to do to much with an arbitrary deadline being 50. That being said having 20 bonus paragon the minute you hit 50 is on paper a massive bump in power to get going but I mean. it’s just 50 you’re only half way in the leveling process it’s really not that important just make sure to get them is all.
i like the video except for the XP tip.. it feels lackluster since you dont mention how you can get good XP. Yes i get by playing the game ;) but any special tips on getting good xp?
Im sad they sre taking away my shout legendary for barb. It felt so good to use it wirh tons of enemies to get the fat resets but now ill just have to wait 25 seconds no matter what i guess
They didn't remove it. It just got nerfed so instead of 12 seconds cooldown reduction you get 6. I still think it shouldn't be like that. 50% nerf on basically day 1 is insane.
@@VeiledShot But won't it just take more time to get full renown in an area compared to getting one level after 50?... Example: Rushing to 50 in 10Hours (No clue how fast is actually possible) Doing renown to get to 50 in 20 hours. Ok lets say you got 2 areas full renown by this time maybe even 3. Yes you have 3 levels worth of paragon. But won't the guy rushing to 50 in half the time already be lvl 55 or something and thus have 5 levels of paragon points? Afterwards when his build is fully onlien he can then just speedrun all renown and take way less time doing so.
Also doing the story for the mount increased xp gains so probably want to power through that first. Then you can pick up renown through side quest and dungs getting your XP that way. At 50 its not so bad just to be picking up any XP you can get because it really slows down.
@@mattiOTX yep. Your main goal pre 50 is completing the main campaign and THEN focus on renown. The game stops progression if you hit level 50 and still have main campaign questlines.
Odd to me that at level 54, i technically have “stronger” gear. Most my gear is item level 680 or higher. That i wont be getting upgrades for a long time, if ever…whats the point
I think the people who are rushing this game like that who aren't in the competition are just absurd. Even if you have been playing it Non-Stop I didn't even think the game's been out for enough hours to have finished everything already, unless I guess people are just skipping cutscenes and everything. I mean if you want to burn yourself out and make it all boring faster that's up to you but I'm soaking it all up thoroughly and getting my money's worth.
So: (This one is mine) Hit 30, get mount, then get altars as quickly and logically as you can while progressing story Ensure the last renown level for the 5 paragon points Hit 50, focus on grinding out every dungeon for completion--and do them on NIGHTMARE Perhaps avoid public quests/events as they are clogged, but do them if not clogged Focus on leveling--the paragon points are crazy important!
@@shaolinswords I don't know, the point he made was that it is more difficult to complete the events. I still do them, simply because they are still fun to me, ha. Plus, yeah, I notice I really *only* seem to get bunches of obuls from those as compared to anything else? So a great point there.

Didnt ask. This is how some people want to play don't try to strut around on a high horse for playing how you want

how to get such a huge amount of gold !? thx
So I played Diablo 3 for a little bit but I would consider this my first Diablo. Tbh it’s so much too try and understand and idk what to do anymore..
Just have fun, no need for these guides unless you want to min/max. Just enjoy the game 😊
How the heck. U have early access?
The d3 update looks good
I MUST ADD. GET YOUR MOUNT FIRST BEFORE LOOKING FOR ALTARS!!
Im fkn 45 in dry steps havent got mount yet, is it in act 4??
@@maxelito7590yes act 4
@@maxelito7590 You have to complete 1,2 and 3 in any order and it's one of the first quests in A4. Can't miss it.
@@maxelito7590jfc I hit 32 at act 4
Didn't knew John Snow has a TH-cam chanel :)
i like the video except for the XP tip.. it feels lackluster since you dont mention how you can get good XP.
Best tip: don't rush, enjoy!
I've been struggling with gold. Upgrading gems is SUPER SUPER EXPENSIVE for no reason.
Upgrading gems before world tier 3-4 is honestly just a waste of time and money. I’d say if you’re still on the grind to 50, save your money
Don't upgrade gems till late game.
I’m at the point where I avoid picking up flawless gems, and discard them if I catch them in my inventory. They’re legitimately irritating now lol
Please be careful doing this on hardcore, the revenants stun. RiP my level 30
You say exp is prio nr 1 after 50. But by that logic it's always nr1 since getting to 50 asap means you can get paragon board asap...
No, because getting the paragon board does nothing if you have no paragon points/
@@VeiledShot But won't it just take more time to get full renown in an area compared to getting one level after 50?...
Example: Rushing to 50 in 10Hours (No clue how fast is actually possible)
Doing renown to get to 50 in 20 hours.
@@layne3530 I can confirm it does not.
Thx alot ♥️
Replacing gear every level or so pre 50... i still have a amulet from lvl 15 im level 33
i got to WT4 at lvl 52
Wow. I can't believe they let Jon Snow off the wall again. Subbed immediately. 🙂

So much confidence in things you barely know about lol
I know nothing
Hell tide is worthless???? Hell tide is the most valuable thing to benefit from especially for gear lol
Odd to me that at level 54, i technically have “stronger” gear. Most my gear is item level 680 or higher. That i wont be getting upgrades for a long time, if ever…whats the point
If anyone doesn't mind answering when do you get sigils I'm at 48 and still haven't seen one
Dude wished he knew the basics the game tells you when you level up 😔🤙
This man has not slept
I think the people who are rushing this game like that who aren't in the competition are just absurd. Even if you have been playing it Non-Stop I didn't even think the game's been out for enough hours to have finished everything already, unless I guess people are just skipping cutscenes and everything. I mean if you want to burn yourself out and make it all boring faster that's up to you but I'm soaking it all up thoroughly and getting my money's worth.

100 HOURS PLAY? IT IS OUT JUST ONE DAY MAN?
He had beta access for months now lucky bum
I thought the same thing lol wtf.
Including the closed beta, open beta, server slam and the 10 days or so of game play from the review copy of the game 100 hours is very do able
Your my man, Jon Snow!
6. Transmog system still not discovered i see :P
So:
(This one is mine) Hit 30, get mount, then get altars as quickly and logically as you can while progressing story
Ensure the last renown level for the 5 paragon points
Hit 50, focus on grinding out every dungeon for completion--and do them on NIGHTMARE
Perhaps avoid public quests/events as they are clogged, but do them if not clogged
Focus on leveling--the paragon points are crazy important!
What's the problem with other people being in events and "clogging" the area? Easy way to get obuls is it not??
@@shaolinswords I don't know, the point he made was that it is more difficult to complete the events. I still do them, simply because they are still fun to me, ha. Plus, yeah, I notice I really *only* seem to get bunches of obuls from those as compared to anything else? So a great point there.
@@stephennetu Maybe he means you get less xp from other players getting kills and they are not in your Party. Not sure if that's the case...
Holy sh&t I didn’t know John snow was D4 fan 🤷♂️😂
Thanks jon snow
