      yeah this fretless with the metal fretboard sounds SO good. And those tap slides with that twangy vibrato on the end he can throw in on a fretless are so nice

    I heard "Bohemian Rhapsody" in my car last week and thought to myself, "I wonder if Charles has ever done a bass version of this song?".       His tapping skills are up there with the best. He's one of the few musicians i've ever seen tap with his ring finger and pinky before. That takes so much practice to get your pinky up to strength to tap lol XD I'd jam the hell out of it XD

    I am old enough a man and a Queen fan to have seen Freddie sing this song live on several occasions. I never went to see Queen with other singers (of course they were right to continue their band but I just couldn't t take it)... your piece is a tribute to the world behind the song.     On the original, I always love the last part of this song from 1:58, it brings up emotions that if I were to try to put into words, I would use such ones like realization, acceptance, even resignation. I feel like the fretless bass and your playing kinda accentuates that even more.

    As a violinist, I am astounded by his precision on the chords (fretless) and the forced harmonics. And doing the tapping at the same time? He’s playing at least 3 instruments in the same space.

    At 0:52 we can hear two tracks with one piano arpeggio bass and the bass line. Then around 1:20, one more track with a floating melody. It's beautifully interpreted and arranged, but it has been done with several tracks, that is to say with several basses playing at the same time.

    Playing chords high up on the neck on fretless is very tricky to get intonation spot on. You the goat 🐐
