I'm A native Houstonian, now in Brazoria County. So! I know about the high heat temperatures, the oppressive humidity, and the "feels-like" temperatures that are sometimes 10°+ hotter than the actual temperatures!! We've already had the "feels-like" at 103°+ !! So, Y'all be sure to take little breaks and sit in the shade a bit and drink LOTS of water!!! We Don't want either of you having heat stroke or even heat exhaustion! We may not know you personally, but we're still your friends and want y'all to be safe!! Another Great Job!! The physical demands of tackling a job like this one must be incredible. Your work ethic is unmatched. Do you take a day off after completing jobs as demanding as this one? No one works harder than you guys. No blade left uncut; no weed left behind. Bravo!
The birds were happy too. They loved mowed yards so they can find worms, grubs, etc......
Lost motor on the edger. Broken belt on the mower. You two kept going! You are real troopers!
I have a feeling the “lost” motor on the edger probably walked away! But no big deal, just go get another one and keep on mowing! You two fellows do an excellent job on every yard you mow! Thanks so much for the videos!

Start at the first light of day and quit at noon….. but probably not good for videoing.
The bushes opposite the driveway seem to be a hedge gone wild. Needs cutting down to fence height and “boxed-cut” …. Maybe when it is cooler…. In the Fall.

Some grass clippings are good for the lawn. Nothing heavy. They rot from rain and sun back into the soil. Great fertilizer. I mow mine one week with a grass mulcher/catcher and the next week without. I rotate my mowing pattern every week as well.
You guys have become my favorite lawn care providers to watch. Your camera placement is good, you’re thorough, you take time to trim bushes and trees, and you always clean up the debris. Plus, I also appreciate not having your video interrupted to promote unrelated product. Thank you!

It can get tough!
@@realMDLawnCare lots of water and Gatorade. Gatorade supplies extra electrolytes. Soldiers in the Army, etc... drink both. Tying a wet cool cloth on your neck can help if you feel too overheated.
Another amazing transformation, you guys keep out doing yourselves! You are hands down, the best lawn care channel on TH-cam. You are the only ones that rake up and take away all the clippings, rather than just blowing it all back into the lawn, like others do. Another great service you've provided for your community, and such a nice house. Its a shame these things happen.
leaving a few clippings helps the soil as rain and sun rot it back into the soil. NO to lots of heavy clippings. I mow my lawn with a mulcher that picks up clippings one week and then without a mulcher/grass father the next week.

It looked like a neighbor next door with the small blue car was running around too much in the street.
Its to bad the neighbors couldn’t keep this yard from getting this overgrown , looks like a big job! Swing that trenching too to loosen up the driveway grass took a lot of effort, thanks for sharing.
It is great that you remove the heavy grass clippings. I know it is extra work. It really makes a difference.

When you live in California but your hearts been in Texas, my heart just knew this video was taken in Texas. A belt broke on mower. He showed it on film plus motor on edger mysteriously disappeared. 😮
M&D Lawn Care definitely the best on You-tube. Humble, just the right amount of commentary, well-edited and pure focused teamwork. I watch from New Zealand. Always wonder if US homeowners collect all the grass & dirt for a compost pile? - we generally recycle everything back into the garden, even bigger trees as mulch & firewood.
I have a double compost bin. I put raw vegetables, raw fruit, egg shells, coffee grounds, and tea grounds (and a small box of worms) in with the grass clippings and mulched leaves. I turn it once or twice a week with my pitchfork. You can even put in RAW Fish, and a little lime will keep it from smelling. I love my nutrient-rich homemade soil. (One-year cantaloupes grew outside the mulch bin because of the seeds. I had at least 40 cantalopes. lol...)
Some cities or HOAs ban compost piles due to fear of rodents, odor or "unsightliness." Maybe lot sizes are too small or maybe they are trying to promote the official compost sites. (Pay to contribute compostables & then pay to get compost for the yard or garden.😢) Other cities do allow home composting. If rural, I'm not aware of any bans.

@JeanetteFaith I am fortunate enough to be outside city limits, so I just have neighbors to placate. Tree roots took over the 3 bin system in the back so I've purchased one of those tumblers w dual sections. Too early for the first batch to complete but there is a lot of action in there so I am hopeful of a good result. For bird feeders, we got the general (not location specific) warnings last year to take down bird feeders because we might inadvertently contribute to the spreading bird flu. My sons have each lived inside different cities in Texas that did not allow compost piles or bins. Bird feeders were ok.

This is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos and I am absolutely amazed! The work you do is fantastic and I can’t get over how in tune you are with one another, it’s like you can read each other’s minds. When one is edging the other is right behind with the weed eater, when one of you is raking the other is blowing everything all together so you can pick up the grass and bag it. Thank you gents for being so kind and helping out communities by tackling the lots that are out of control.
