    Vorteks 4x4 or Rustler 4x4? 🤔

@@krazy88korean yeah, red/green, purple/blue...the list goes on. Like you, I can see the colors, just can't determine what color they are. In RC, what gets me is wire colors, paint on shock springs, and LED lights on electronics......the famous "wait for green light". Seriously??

great video. I legit just ordered one through your link for my wife. I like 3s and also like the power switch on the radio. That way I can let my wife work out to 100%. She is good with a crawler but just can not figure out the speed part. Also gives me an other truck to play with. I had a 4s outcast and enjoyed it a lot. Sold it but sorta miss it. @@francostacy7675 a few reasons - 1/10th scale are smaller, lighter, easier to control and usually cost less. 1/8th are the opposite - obviously larger, heavier and priced higher usually with higher spec’d components. Beginners will go through a phase of breaking their RC due to poor driving/learning. 1/10th scale is cheaper (usually) to fix and will keep the new RC owner still in the hobby.

I need the 1/10 scale. Outside the U.S. a lot of RC circuits set their track limits to 1/10. 2S and 3S is perfect because AGAIN, they may even say "Okay the size is okay, but 2S is the limit". I just worry about those plastic outdrives. Hopefully, Aftermarket will come with a solution for that.

I like 1/8 scale however there is a serious lack of 1/8 scale tracks around me which is why I have more 1/10 scale. In saying that, nobody at the 1/10 track would appreciate me or anybody else rocking up with this 1/8 truck pretending to be a 1/10 truck. Fan on motor is a great touch. Plastic chassis and drive shafts? Uhh not for me

I'll stick to my rustler 2wd lol. It looks nice but there's soooo much plastic, even the pivot balls, like come on. Those shocks would be the first to go. Can't stand unthreaded shocks and def all plastic is a no no for me. I have GTR's on my rustler.

All metal gearing? Only in the servo, the diffs are the exact same as the Granite, Senton (3s), Typhon (3s) and the Big Rock. Both the pinion and ring are plastic gears, though the diff pinion is a Hybrid with a metal shaft, connecting to the driveshaft. I have the big rock and looked it up, the exact same part numbers. also the chassis is the exact same as the Granite, so a tire and body swap instant Vorteks. I am not saying this to knock on it, I have the Big Rock and I love it. But you are are not telling the truth, on the all metal gears. The only places where the gears are metal are in the servo, pinion (motor) and inside the diffs. Anyone doesn't believe me, there is an exploded view available on Arrma's site for all three. I looked at it (Granite, Big Rock and Vorteks), the part numbers are identical. As I said, got no beef with Arrma (Love mine), just saying this guy is not telling the truth, There is a steel pinion/diff and a spur gear options, but they are not STOCK. Also don't let the plastic diffs dissuade you, Mine haven't popped or slipped any at all and I'm running 3s, they are fine

@@mybusiness6125, On their site, there is exploded interactive (click on the Part Numbers) views for all of the vehicles offered, I looked at the part numbers they all match. Like I said, this wasn't to knock Arrma at all, I have one (Big Rock) and love it. Not one single problem with it, other than my rusty soldering skills. Hit a tree tore a chunk out of the tree, but nothing bent or broke. I only wanted people, that watch this to know His comment of all metal gears was incorrect, though metal options exist

AVC is "Active Vehicle Control" - it's a gyro built inside the receiver and it's controlled by the old "Dual Rate" switch on your radio. Basically if your RC starts veering left, it will will correct with right steering input to keep you straight. The dial can either turn up the response or turn down the response or amount of correction
