For what I understand One Piece has Sagas and those Sagas have Arcs. So, Davy Back Fight, Water Seven and Enies Lobby are all arcs that belong to Water Seven Saga.
Yeah and idk why it's hard for people to believe Enies Lobby and Water 7 are sorta the same arc considering it's the same villains in both. They didn't beat the villains in Water 7 so they chase after them in Enies Lobby
Tekking why don't you Ebay sell your older manga for DeathNote and OnePiece and buy the Box Sets that way it is easier to just keep them in the box and you don't have to put everything on shelfs

I have been really picking up on my manga collection I actually own all three of those Naruto boxes that come with like 20-something volumes each I definitely recommend it saves you a lot of money and the art is cool I take all of the volumes out of the box and then put the Box on top of the bookcase and it really looks nice
Yeah my high school library had a crap load of manga there. One piece included, up to date. Right across the street from my school was a city library. They had a teen section there filled with manga. And basically every library in my city had manga in them. Granted I do live in a populated major city.
the reason the davy back fight is included in water seven is because of Aokiji being a huge part of robin's story and making his first appearance there. Water Seven and Enis Loby are totally the same arc, the characters are pretty much the same in both just in a different place. The villians of water 7 are the villians of Enis Loby you can't say the same about Zou and Whole Cake. I would even Say Jaya and Skypea are the same arc to because they tie together so closely.

I think that the ‘arc’ lables in the one piece manga is more oriented to sagas, at least pre- time skip. Post time skip, the labeling just confuses me. Also, in newer prints of the earlier volumes they include theses labels. On the other hand , I really enjoyed seeing your collection! I hope to expand my collection in the future, and hope to have one as large as yours one day.

Example: Let’s say that I read about Naruto and Jiraiya unsuccessfully searching Tsunade (as in they haven’t found her yet) but then on the cover of the next volume you see Jiraiya, Tsunade and Orochimaru hinting that something will happen.

i'm not sure if you got an answer for this before, but the reason its called water 7 is because that's the name of the saga. those 3 arcs, long ring long land, water 7 and enies lobby are all part of the water 7 saga. just like the east blue saga covers romance dawn, orange town, syrup village, baratie, arlong park and loguetown.
The way I finished Naruto Shippuden was actually through my high school library. One day I just went in there and the comic book section just so happened to have the last 3 manga volumes for the series. They were perfectly in sync with where I was I the anime.

Personally, I don't consider it the same arc, but I consider them apart of the Water 7 saga. And the problem with Viz putting the arcs on the covers is, one, there is a lot of debate over what is considered an arc, where they begin, and what they should be called. And also, most of the time, an arc could start half way in one volume, and end half way into another.
I myself just ordered OP Box 1 and Bleach Box 2 (btw the box protects them+saves space) and Battle Tendencies. You should also check out Rohan at the Louvre.

My high school had all of the available Bleach volumes, Naruto volumes, One Piece volumes, and the complete FMA set in the library. Also my thoughts on what Tekking said about the One Piece Arcs. Water 7 and Enes Lobby are part of the same "Saga", but not the same "Arc". Like how everything on planet Namek in DBZ is the same Saga, but the trip to Namek is one Arc, the early-on stuff is another Arc, the Ginyu Force is a 3rd Arc, and lastly the Frieza Arc. That's the way I look at it anyways.
So, here's how I think the arc names should have been for the One Piece volumes. Name them by SAGAS. One Piece has a whole bunch of arcs yes, but they all get sorted into a saga which is a collection of arcs. For example I'm fine with them calling all the volumes up to 11 or 12 East Blue because all of those arcs take place within the East Blue portion of the story. Same with Baroque Works. I'm fine with them calling a whole bunch of volumes Baroque Works because that's the overall arching plot right? They meet Vivi right at the start of the Grand Line, they learn run into Baroque Works in Whiskey Peak and then learn about the goal of Vivi and they decide to help her out. However before the main plot of Baroque Works gets started they visit two other islands which have separate stories to that. Little Garden technically does have massive tie ins with Baroque Works but Drum Island has nothing to do with Baroque Works at all. But I'm totally fine with them including it in the Baroque Works saga. So with this in mind, I'm totally fine with them including the davy back fight in the Water Seven saga. Same with Enies Lobby. I consider Enies Lobby a different arc to Water Seven but I would still include Enies Lobby as a part of Water Seven BECAUSE it's all a part of the same plot line. The problem with this is that it's not consistent. After Water Seven and then Thriller Bark, they start labelling the volumes for the Islands. Sabaody for example, it not a saga by itself. Neither is Impel Down or Marineford. These are all supposed to be part of a saga known as the Summit War saga. So I kind of wish after Thriller Bark they started calling the volumes Summit War. And then you get to New World... lol. New World is totally fucked. The volumes are labelled as New World right up until Wano. And then even now that Volume 90 is out and labelled Wano, Wano is technically a part of the Pirate Emperor or the "Yonko" saga. So they are fucking it right up the ass and it's annoying lol. Either label the volumes by arc or do it by saga. Not both.

If you want to get a price tag off of paperbacks, use lighter fluid. it dissolves the adhesive and doesn't damage the paper or ink

If you can afford it and want a longer lasting set, then the boxes are worth it. The 3 in 1's have issues with cheap paper and weak spines.

It's great to gave something like One Piece in your local store...in Croatia it is quite hard to find any type of manga even in bookstores...and it sucks -_- And those on internet are not so cheap for us here...

My high school had all of the available Bleach volumes, Naruto volumes, One Piece volumes, and the complete FMA set in the library.
Also my thoughts on what Tekking said about the One Piece Arcs. Water 7 and Enes Lobby are part of the same "Saga", but not the same "Arc". Like how everything on planet Namek in DBZ is the same Saga, but the trip to Namek is one Arc, the early-on stuff is another Arc, the Ginyu Force is a 3rd Arc, and lastly the Frieza Arc. That's the way I look at it anyways.
So, here's how I think the arc names should have been for the One Piece volumes. Name them by SAGAS. One Piece has a whole bunch of arcs yes, but they all get sorted into a saga which is a collection of arcs. For example I'm fine with them calling all the volumes up to 11 or 12 East Blue because all of those arcs take place within the East Blue portion of the story. Same with Baroque Works. I'm fine with them calling a whole bunch of volumes Baroque Works because that's the overall arching plot right? They meet Vivi right at the start of the Grand Line, they learn run into Baroque Works in Whiskey Peak and then learn about the goal of Vivi and they decide to help her out. However before the main plot of Baroque Works gets started they visit two other islands which have separate stories to that. Little Garden technically does have massive tie ins with Baroque Works but Drum Island has nothing to do with Baroque Works at all. But I'm totally fine with them including it in the Baroque Works saga.
So with this in mind, I'm totally fine with them including the davy back fight in the Water Seven saga. Same with Enies Lobby. I consider Enies Lobby a different arc to Water Seven but I would still include Enies Lobby as a part of Water Seven BECAUSE it's all a part of the same plot line. The problem with this is that it's not consistent. After Water Seven and then Thriller Bark, they start labelling the volumes for the Islands. Sabaody for example, it not a saga by itself. Neither is Impel Down or Marineford. These are all supposed to be part of a saga known as the Summit War saga. So I kind of wish after Thriller Bark they started calling the volumes Summit War. And then you get to New World... lol. New World is totally fucked. The volumes are labelled as New World right up until Wano. And then even now that Volume 90 is out and labelled Wano, Wano is technically a part of the Pirate Emperor or the "Yonko" saga. So they are fucking it right up the ass and it's annoying lol. Either label the volumes by arc or do it by saga. Not both.
