Two of the boys hid Summers body and when her mother couldn't find her she thought she had been deducted and she reported her missing. Later when the boys told Don what happened Summer was dead and Don took Summer out to a local small emetery and buried her and all this time the wells family have been overing this case up.

It’s messed up to expect her to always speak of her in present tense now that she’s gone. That’s how we talk about people who aren’t in our lives anymore. My ex-husband had a really sweet side but he was a monster when he was angry. See? As far as I know, he’s unfortunately still alive. We just talk about people who aren’t around anymore in past tense. I am an East Tennessean. From Day One, I have said that Summer's is one body that will likely never be found. I have moved to a rural area on top of a hill alone. When a car turns up my road, I am waiting on the porch. It is amazing how far the sound of a vehicle carries. Also, look at the herd of dogs around the house. Dogs are the best alarm in the world.
If Noone is feeding the dogs, they gotta eat something. A pack of stray dogs will always have a den out in the woods. Find the den, and dig in that area and you might find the bones of the little girl.
My family lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and used to live in Cookeville, TN - those hills over there are intense which is around the area Summer lived. I'm positive a pervert found out a little girl lived there, and waited on the road behind her house for their chance and they got it that day. She went out the back basement door. Then a neighbor reported hearing a scream and saw a truck driving off from the road behind their house. The cops said the scream was "unrelated." That's nonsense. How do they know it's unrelated? It seems VERY related to me. They find another little girl in such a vast area screaming around the exact time she was kidnapped? Hell no, they didn't. They just know a random kidnapper is the most difficult case to solve and tried to blame her parents at first. I don't think her parents killed her. She was kidnapped. TBI just doesn't want the public to panic because there is a random kidnapper out there picking up little girls, and there is very little they can do about it.
These kids have an aunt who simply went missing too. There are rumors she was trafficked. Summer's dad owed debts to some really bad people. I think Summer was trafficked to pay off these debts.

She initially told Anslee Daniels on phone interview (day 6) that Summer was outside and she ( Candus) was inside. She changed it to Summer in the basement and that seems to have evaded news channels. People change their stories when they are lying.

I have never had a missing child, but mom seems WAY too calm for me. I think I would still be breaking down in tears, especially describing the day by daughter disappeared. I also think the fact that her other children were taken away speaks volumes.
Yea, I wouldn't even be able to give any interviews at all. Ever. I'd probably be in a mental asylum for a straight year at least before I could trust myself not to euthanize myself. I grew up in North Idaho and had a few dogs around. Whenever I wondered off to play in the woods the dogs would always accompany me, because they enjoyed going on hikes. Whenever there was an unfamiliar person that came on our property the dogs would bark and go ballistic if someone was suspicious. I find it odd that none of the dogs followed Summer or barked if they saw a stranger, they knew the person. In my opinion Summer knew the abductor and I believe she was sold to traffickers.

I live here & not just here in Hawkins But in the Creek & myself & neighbors helped search, my uncle is preacher at the 1st church they attended before switching to 1 in Kpt, can tell y’all NO 5 yr old is going off alone in the woods 2- especially NOT BAREFOOT 3- if they had they wouldn’t gotten far 4- Beech Creek certainly has a wild past BUT NO ONE IS hurting or kidnapping kids here….. at first I like many here wanted to give the parents the benefit of the doubt but years later & the actions of them in the past few years….. I can’t help but think mom wasn’t paying attention and something happened & she panicked idk but do know it’s not what they’ve said, they aren’t allowed to try to get custody of boys back or even visit so that says a lot…. A lot as in imo they think they know more but can currently prove it, she didn’t willingly wonder off 🤷🏼♀️ & idk whose telling y’all they passed polygraphs bc that’s not true 🤨 they went 2 times 1st they were sent home bc of their “emotional state” the 2nd was ruled inconclusive bc they were under influence of 💊 benzos to be exact & they never went back & LE has NEVER said they passed bc they didn’t 🤷🏼♀️ idk where that came from but that’s not true but like a lot in this case it’s not happened the way they’ve said 😢

I live in Johnson City and every time I go to Kingsport or anywhere near Rogersville I can’t help but think of this sweet girl. I usually don’t blame people from the get go when things happen, but when Summer went missing the lack of emotion from Candus had me looking at her. My youngest child (who is 6 now) walked at out the house and got in the car one day (without me telling her to go outside) and I flipped out looking for her and almost called the cops 3 mins into looking for her….. with Candus I never got any sign of worry. Not normal signs of what a loving mother would do with a kid missing. It’s just sad.

They don't 'let' people drop off dogs on their property. In rural areas like this, people just dump dogs. The dog show up where there's food. In areas where there might not be any animal shelter services, you either feed the dogs or shoot them. Lot of weird condescension about how a lot of Americans live in this case that I think is getting in the way of how people think about what might have happened.
I live in Hawkins County, literally on the other side of that mountain. These people are unique, because most people in this area do not live like this. Yes there are a few, but the majority are normal country folks. The mother used to come into my work to shop, and she would be very dirty, with her kids very dirty, and the smell of marajuana on her would be so strong.

What threw me through the roof, was your daughters bedroom is right next to yours, the kids go down there to play, and there is porn playing on the tv during the day with no one down there, like its regular tv. They did not care that it was playing when the investigator was even there, There is definately something foul that happened. Dont get me wrong me and my husband like our stuff in the bedroom, but there is no way in hell anyone would ever know let alone our kids, I would be so ashamed and embarrassed if my kids were to see that. You cannot charge or jail people without enough evidence, this is America and everyone is afforded this right, even those that look obviously guilty, but sometimes innocent people look guilty and we have to be sure and right.
The way this case was handled by local, rural law enforcement was abysmal. It seems like they didn't ask for outside assistance until it was much too late. The case just disappeared, just like poor little Summer. She never had a chance with the family she was born into.

If I recall, the FBI declined to prosecute, supposedly because they didn't have enough evidence. Which I think is a shame, especially considering how they stayed with the Natalie Holloway case for years until they brought her killer to justice.

Seeing this home, the lifestyle, the fact that the other kids were taken away and then ruling these parents out just because they “passed” a polygraph is equivalent to if I was standing across from someone at their home and casually lifted my arm up and pushed an antique vase off of a shelf and it smashes on the floor. The vase owner is like “hey why’d you do that!” And then I put my hands into my pockets and reply “Do what? My hands are in my pockets as you can see, so clearly it wasn’t me who broke the vase” and the person is like “True”
As far as them passing the polygraph, they should have drug tested them first because this is a couple who is known to abuse, drugs, and alcohol so if they were under the influence of Xanax or any other benzodiazepine, they could have bluffed the polygraph test easily and like I have said since the beginning, this was an inside job I believe something happened when they were swimmingand it was covered up

I am an East Tennessean. From Day One, I have said that Summer's is one body that will likely never be found. I have moved to a rural area on top of a hill alone. When a car turns up my road, I am waiting on the porch. It is amazing how far the sound of a vehicle carries. Also, look at the herd of dogs around the house. Dogs are the best alarm in the world.

My family lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and used to live in Cookeville, TN - those hills over there are intense which is around the area Summer lived. I'm positive a pervert found out a little girl lived there, and waited on the road behind her house for their chance and they got it that day. She went out the back basement door. Then a neighbor reported hearing a scream and saw a truck driving off from the road behind their house. The cops said the scream was "unrelated." That's nonsense. How do they know it's unrelated? It seems VERY related to me. They find another little girl in such a vast area screaming around the exact time she was kidnapped? Hell no, they didn't. They just know a random kidnapper is the most difficult case to solve and tried to blame her parents at first. I don't think her parents killed her. She was kidnapped. TBI just doesn't want the public to panic because there is a random kidnapper out there picking up little girls, and there is very little they can do about it.

These kids have an aunt who simply went missing too. There are rumors she was trafficked. Summer's dad owed debts to some really bad people. I think Summer was trafficked to pay off these debts.

She initially told Anslee Daniels on phone interview (day 6) that Summer was outside and she ( Candus) was inside. She changed it to Summer in the basement and that seems to have evaded news channels. People change their stories when they are lying.

I remember the Jessica Lunsford case. Her grandfather failed a polygraph but come to find out a sex offender from across the street took her and buried her alive in his backyard, while police were out searching. No one could ever explain why the grandfather failed the polygraph.

I have never had a missing child, but mom seems WAY too calm for me. I think I would still be breaking down in tears, especially describing the day by daughter disappeared. I also think the fact that her other children were taken away speaks volumes.

I grew up in North Idaho and had a few dogs around. Whenever I wondered off to play in the woods the dogs would always accompany me, because they enjoyed going on hikes. Whenever there was an unfamiliar person that came on our property the dogs would bark and go ballistic if someone was suspicious. I find it odd that none of the dogs followed Summer or barked if they saw a stranger, they knew the person. In my opinion Summer knew the abductor and I believe she was sold to traffickers.

I live here & not just here in Hawkins But in the Creek & myself & neighbors helped search, my uncle is preacher at the 1st church they attended before switching to 1 in Kpt, can tell y’all NO 5 yr old is going off alone in the woods 2- especially NOT BAREFOOT 3- if they had they wouldn’t gotten far 4- Beech Creek certainly has a wild past BUT NO ONE IS hurting or kidnapping kids here….. at first I like many here wanted to give the parents the benefit of the doubt but years later & the actions of them in the past few years….. I can’t help but think mom wasn’t paying attention and something happened & she panicked idk but do know it’s not what they’ve said, they aren’t allowed to try to get custody of boys back or even visit so that says a lot…. A lot as in imo they think they know more but can currently prove it, she didn’t willingly wonder off 🤷🏼♀️ & idk whose telling y’all they passed polygraphs bc that’s not true 🤨 they went 2 times 1st they were sent home bc of their “emotional state” the 2nd was ruled inconclusive bc they were under influence of 💊 benzos to be exact & they never went back & LE has NEVER said they passed bc they didn’t 🤷🏼♀️ idk where that came from but that’s not true but like a lot in this case it’s not happened the way they’ve said 😢

I live in Johnson City and every time I go to Kingsport or anywhere near Rogersville I can’t help but think of this sweet girl. I usually don’t blame people from the get go when things happen, but when Summer went missing the lack of emotion from Candus had me looking at her. My youngest child (who is 6 now) walked at out the house and got in the car one day (without me telling her to go outside) and I flipped out looking for her and almost called the cops 3 mins into looking for her….. with Candus I never got any sign of worry. Not normal signs of what a loving mother would do with a kid missing. It’s just sad.
I wonder if she ever made it up that hill to that house. It’s weird Don went and checked the shed at the bottom of the hill.

They don't 'let' people drop off dogs on their property. In rural areas like this, people just dump dogs. The dog show up where there's food. In areas where there might not be any animal shelter services, you either feed the dogs or shoot them. Lot of weird condescension about how a lot of Americans live in this case that I think is getting in the way of how people think about what might have happened.
So many of these guests are completely out of touch.
I live in Hawkins County, literally on the other side of that mountain. These people are unique, because most people in this area do not live like this. Yes there are a few, but the majority are normal country folks. The mother used to come into my work to shop, and she would be very dirty, with her kids very dirty, and the smell of marajuana on her would be so strong.

What threw me through the roof, was your daughters bedroom is right next to yours, the kids go down there to play, and there is porn playing on the tv during the day with no one down there, like its regular tv. They did not care that it was playing when the investigator was even there, There is definately something foul that happened. The way this case was handled by local, rural law enforcement was abysmal. It seems like they didn't ask for outside assistance until it was much too late. The case just disappeared, just like poor little Summer. She never had a chance with the family she was born into.

The TBI and Hawkins County should go ahead and give this case to The Cold Case Foundation, because Chris and the rest of the SEASONED detectives seem like the only hope. When they were called in to help with the Michael Vaughn case, it led to answers AND cleared the parents totally! (Some people found them suspicious for some reason, idk why)

Between both of the parents they've lost custody of six children. Summers disappearance unfortunately save the lives of her brothers. I've been following this case since it happened and it's just heartbreaking.

If I recall, the FBI declined to prosecute, supposedly because they didn't have enough evidence. Which I think is a shame, especially considering how they stayed with the Natalie Holloway case for years until they brought her killer to justice.

What did this woman do all day? Imo she liked the mess, perhaps the mess was hiding what they were actually doing all day. Imo those children deserved so much better, yet those parents just didn't care nor that grandma Candy Harrer. Imo they all three know what happened to Summer but are covering for each other. Perhaps Rose went missing the same way Summer did. I want Justice for Summer Wells and hopefully the LAW will do something before this year of 2024 ends!! I'm sure they know things but they need proof so I'm praying the law will get Justice for little Summer and put those guilty away for LIFE. Praying for Justice for Summer, it's been three years.

Seeing this home, the lifestyle, the fact that the other kids were taken away and then ruling these parents out just because they “passed” a polygraph is equivalent to if I was standing across from someone at their home and casually lifted my arm up and pushed an antique vase off of a shelf and it smashes on the floor. The vase owner is like “hey why’d you do that!” And then I put my hands into my pockets and reply “Do what? My hands are in my pockets as you can see, so clearly it wasn’t me who broke the vase” and the person is like “True”

As far as them passing the polygraph, they should have drug tested them first because this is a couple who is known to abuse, drugs, and alcohol so if they were under the influence of Xanax or any other benzodiazepine, they could have bluffed the polygraph test easily and like I have said since the beginning, this was an inside job I believe something happened when they were swimmingand it was covered up
