Martin was really amazing. But Marc was just on the next level. I mean coming to P2 twice and fighting with top Ducati men who were fighting for last year's championship is just amazing. That also with a GP23.
I really don't care who wins a race I just want to see an exciting finish but I will admit that I pull for Marc most of the time. I mainly pull for him because of the haters. Here's a rider who won championships on a bike that no one else could ride. Yes he crashed a lot but that's what it took to win riding a Honda. Since being on the Ducati he is a different rider. He's always smiling. He shows his love for the bike. He is the best rider on the GP23 but that could change. There are some great riders on the other bikes. He does make Moto GP fun to watch, just like Rossi did. Coming from 13th to 2nd was amazing and fun. Competition has never been this close. It's awesome.
Agree 100% Marc made a bad Honda look good untill the point the bike was just too far gone. To go through his injuries and come back so strong should gain respect from everyone. Even his biggest haters have too respect his unrivalled passion
Bastianini was down 6.3 seconds to the leader at the end of lap 16, and only down 2.2 at the finish, or 4.1 seconds faster than the leader the last 11 laps. He took too long to get through in the early laps, where MM is MagicMan in traffic, and the long lap was a drag, but 4th from 10th and a long lap, not too bad.
Top weekend of racing. It's fabulous to see Marc racing with a dogged determination an a massive smile on his face after what hes been a prob still going through. Le Mans is a show of how to put a gp weekend on. What a crowd, what an atmosphere. Mega, showing them all, how its done.
If this year's racing has been 'next level', MM93 is even more amazing. I actually struggle with the constant blitz on Marc? Too much noise. But, even when removed from that- he genuinely 'baby alien'd' the whole weekend? Inspiring. Awed by the activity.
Great podcast as always 😏. It was awesome to see Marc after having the big front end save then miss Q2 to start 13th was able to rocket to 2nd in the sprint. I was incredible that he was able to repeat that in the Sunday race . His first win can't be too far away.
@williamrae9954 Yeah I've been to both Donnington & Silverstone and I love Donnigton. Great viewing due to the nature of the track. Wish Motogp returned there.
Growing up in Canada, I'd always hear stories of Gilles Villeneuve's extraordinary ability with some envy having missed out as he was before my time. Marc Marquez gave me that experience with MotoGP. Great to see Marc battling for victories once again. So many great riders to watch in the future. We cannot forget that Quartararo is one of the best riders in the sport along with Martin and Pecco. Pedro is obviously one to watch and Binder may get the consistency he needs to shine.
I find it interesting how people in the UK have such easy acess to so much of Motorcycling greatest events yet the sport isnt popular there. Heck, Im brazilian, when Alexandre Barros was in his peak, thats when I was born. Since then no more brazilian riders in GP, unfortunately the sport isnt that big around here. But I dont come from a family who has interest in Motorsports, my mom doesnt want me to have a motorcycle, of course I wont🤫, ever since I first saw bikes/cars I fell in love with them. I just love the sport and the machines, didnt need anyone to incentivise me or anything, dont need a countryman of mine to be racing in X category for me to watch it. I just wish more people were like me and just enjoyed the sport for what it is, motorsports in general but especially motorcycls racing, cus its just the best, not only GP but motorcycle racing in general
Regarding british racing ‘aging out’, the only people interested in bike racing are those who ride bikes. Until more young people are able to get a licence without going through multi-year licence restrictions, biking will die on its arse.
I Remember Donnington park GP's and it was a sell out and the campsites was crazy . They should of sorted it back then but hey they moved it. Maybe the new rules will bring the GP back to its real home Donnington.
Went there every year, great days. Unfortunately I don't think it will ever go back there as bikes are to fast for track ( maybe ) dont often go to watch at Silverstone it does not work as well for bikes as a spectator.
So its really hard for french too, you need to be best French to get support to race in spain. I think they must raise age limits in wjgp too so kids can grow up in national or other "cheaper" championships. These days thera are kids 15 years old in wjgp that need to spend hudreds of thousands in that class before they turn 18 and have change to get a change in Moto3.
I’ve been to Silverstone many times and I went to Le Mans in 2022. There is nothing Le Mans does better than Silverstone (we have the concerts, the fan zones etc). Just no one in England cares about MotoGP (sadly).
The British Grand Prix should be directly after Le Mans, better weather, as the Atlantic Ocean is still cool, the rain and storms come as the sea warms up...always been that way, before we get the 'Climate Change' B/S

@@macsmith6216 The major problem with this world, having an opinion or telling the truth is now hate, get a grip, I get what he is saying, Marc has massive crashes full stop, last year his Honda cut the front end off of Jorge's Ducati, if it had hit Jorge it would have killed him, Marc tends to crash more and faster than anyone else, he could very well take someone out, it's not hate, it's an opinion based on historical fact, It's fantastic that Marc is back at the front, but it's nail biting.

The skill level of MM is unbelievable, racing is exciting again.
Yeah Unfortunately he lost a bit too much time battling vinales & diggi early on. Its good signs. Would be happy to get some wins.

French Grand prix is supported by the fans because it is affordable. Great podcast thank you.

Is this a new format … having a local journalist join you for race analysis? Love it!!! More please!
Excellent review, and even better race 🏁 MM was the standout of the meeting for me, really looking forward to the next meeting 👍😉🍾🏁
Enjoyed the banter between Mr Parrish, Mr Johnston and yourself at the weekend
Thanks!
Hey Silverstone...Le Mans was affordable and under 16s got in free.
Still wouldn't go...Donnington is the place for ALL of the UK to attend...Silverstone and Brands is for Southerners only

Job well done Renita, steering these guys back on topic when they (Keith) wander off topic.
Keith is right. Moto GP NEVER makes the news in the UK. If its not football (occasionally rugby, golf, cricket) or F1 forget it!

They need at least 1 other stop in the US. back to back preferably. California, or Miami.
Keith, your insight, wisdom, and humor, always appreciated, I beat Gary Nixon, to give you a timeline, but yeah, all you guys 👍
Where is harry? Not all F1 overlaps with MotoGP. You are a good duo.

Falling asleep with this pace
MM 🎉
Great podcast. But, Keith maybe let poor Renita speak and stop interrupting her.
They barely even spoke about the MotoGP race, this really wasn’t a good podcast.
Go over to CrashNet for a proper podcast on this
Jorge is getting really cocky, I hope he doesn't get ahead of himself.
Self belief and confidence, can make the difference between being a WC and not

A massive Marquez crash is coming soon, the only unknown is who he is taking out with him.
Same hatred on various sites
Give it a rest

The Australian round of Moto gp Should take a leaf out of the French Moto gp And how to make The Australian Moto outstanding
Like what?
