i was literally thinking about this in the shower the other day!!! that's so crazy. it really does sound like a mother singing to her daughter about feeling helpless against the pain that was passed down from her mother. so sad.
this feels like a punch in the gut, every lyric. america is scary, the state of it, the rest of the world too. this is all so scary. I loved to listen to this, so thank you for sharing the lyrics.
If god exist, it is a malevolent voyeur, unwilling to help, yet watching it all unfold. Extolled as perfect, yet so petty, it chose to drown everyone on the planet in a fit of rage.
I need to read the Bible to completion but I do agree.. I feel so upset. The tragic irony is if God is perfect then this is perfection. Sometimes I can agree. Other times. I couldn't fucking care less
Totally disagree. There is no stronger love than giving you the FREEDOM to do anything you want to do. If god made everyone perfect, you would be a slave to perfection, you wouldn't really be yourself, you'd be just like every other person. I haven't read the bible but I believe that to be a true statement. You only think God is evil because HUMANS choose to do the evil things which are only possible because of that freedom.
@@livinglegacy5687 if god knows what we are gonna do and what is going to happen before we do then everything has essentially all ready been pre-determined since he design it as such, meaning that we have no" free will" because if said things don't happen then he would not be all knowing.
love how this song was posted 3 years ago but accurately mentions a major, unrelenting flaw in america. can't afford to eat but also can't afford to respectfully pass away
This has been a growing problem for a long time. After quarantine it made the jump from being regional to being a problem pretty much everywhere. I developed major health issues and went on SSDI and Medicaid in the last few years and if I hadn’t been approved I’d have half a million in medical debt, now. I know a lot of people who’ve ended up working and living in their car or couch surfing. People lost their businesses in record numbers in some of the small towns around here, all just in the last 4 years. It’s getting to be unavoidable. There is no more middle class.
@@loveinstars I don’t believe the artist meant for it to be used in that context. There was a whole controversy around it. He goes by Corbin now because of it.

She's incredibly talented with an emotionally expressive way (though on this song the voc coder effects detract not enhance, (sorry Hayden)).
