[About the Video]
Good price from first look.
Definitely a nice starting point for someone with the time and skill to do a proper job to convert to a spacious and very liveable home.
Ideal summer in UK then winter in Europe/further afield with that bullet proof engine and box.
Thanks for watching it's a great van if it was not I'd not put it on my channel as I have a good reputation for honesty.
@@RetiredandLivingthedream as always Les - enjoy the UK whilst you are there as much as possible - Its always a wake up call visiting 'home' to then leave with a sigh of relief....
Good morning Les, Perfect easy listening background music, to cover the engine and road noise while filming ! A very good clean example of this bus with such low millage ,bullit proof engine. This will make the perfect conversion .
1 OWNER..JUST 75,000 MILES ! £ 3,500 !! CHEAP CHEAP ! 👍
Good morning! The big Diesel engine is still not run inn at 75,000 Miles these are good for 500,000 at least with proper service, This van has documentary evidence it has been looked after, The inside is quiet when running, Large amount of space for not a lot. All tires are in good order also. If I lived here i'd of bought it. Looking at van conversions next week I like to see how others have done this to live inn. Thanks for watching and taking time to comment.
It'd be perfect for doing ' Ghost tours ", paint it black, love it 😅
It's a decent sized van/bus, larger than most vans but smaller more economical than most full size bus.
Yes,not a problem. Bens been a great asset for Teesside Steve
Tidy looking thing, after a wash 😊. That purple Iveco was the best bus on there...💜😉
😂😅
Yes loved the color, how that Big bus got turned around must of took some maneuvering.
That looks a bargain for £ 3500 and ripe for conversion . A lovely video today covering part of our local heritage . heartening to see that it is still a very popular spot for nature and bird lovers , and the timeless feel about the fishing huts and Paddy s hole which are a proper little community . It will be interesting to see if the ongoing development of the former Blast furnace site attempts to spread over the boundary fence and encroach on the Gare but I doubt it myself . I got a feeling of sad nostalgia a few months ago visiting the Gare , as they were demolishing the Blast Furnace , it seemed not long ago since I worked on the blast furnace as it was getting built as a young Bricklayer , a great bunch of lads and great trade unionists . My Dad , also a bricklayer and shop steward was nominated by all the lads to lay the first brick on the hearth to start of the construction of the Blast furnace . Priest Furnaces from my town Middlesbrough was the contractor in charge of the project .Lets hope the ongoing redevelopment boost Redcar s local economy just like the Steel industry did . Kap Krun Khap Les
Always liked the South Gare was shocked to see all the steel works have gone, I wonder what will replace it, I seen massive building works going on between Middlesbrough and Redcar so money will attract more money it is a start.
There is plans drawn up I believe to build houses and a retail park and more on the land Ben houchen, the local tory mp is involved in the whole project, he s done well regenerating Durham Tees Valley Airport , it was on its knees about 6 yrs ago, I used it the other week for Thailand trip , Bangkok via Amsterdam .much better airport so let's hope he can do what he says at Redcar. He was the only tory mp to.hold his seat at the recent election
Ben Houchen is not an MP!
He's the Conservative Mayor for the Tees Valley.
The only Conservative MP to hold into their seat was Matt Vickers,Stockton South
@@gordonhowes8771 That s right yes , but you get what I mean regarding how he s overseen the DTVA regeneration and his projected Imput into developing the Redcar project
Can't hear what you are saying Les, music overlay volume needed adjusting
Sorry about that, noted for the next time.🙏
That's a bargain 😮
It is i'm sure it will go soon.
The music is too loud and not really necessary anyway
I agree and of course Les can do what he wants but I think most of his audience are mature enough to watch a normal video without the need for distractions and gimmicks. This is not a complaint either, love all the content you put out.
Okay noted.
Thanks for taking time to comment, the noise levels were up and down on this video for sure, the Big diesel engine.
@@paulsumner5564 I liked the music. In fact, I'd be tempted to steal it for one of my videos 😂
Well I thought it was a nice enough video , music or not ,, it was interesting to see those parts of Redcar I never knew existed ,, I used to park my lorry up at night in Redcar in a small park backed up to the sea ,, lovely place bit of fish and chips and a couple of pints fall asleep in the lorry listening to the sea
Can hardly hear you Les because background music is so loud
Sounds ok on my iPad.
Not so sure of the engine going by the sound, then I am no mechanic so would get a mechanic's opinion
£3500 then convert could turn out expensive i looked at a few mobile homes on ebay £10,000 is price off a desent one so good luck as uk very cold needs a lot off insulation .
Most conversions need insulation to protect from Heat and Cold, the size is relevant the bigger things are the more expensive it will be but the end result is more space, for me this would be my ideal van size. Motor homes are not cheap. I could totally live this nomadic lifestyle.
Wait; are all those vans people on holiday or are they 'homeless' if you know what I mean?
engine sounds not so great, mate!
We came from Nottingham did not miss a beat.
Do you know if can be driven on UK car license?
This can be driven on a ordinary car licence if your over a certain age, they changed the laws eg if you tow a caravan or large trailer you need an extension to your license to do this, I would check with DVLA to be fully compliant.
@@RetiredandLivingthedream For UK Citizen with UK licence?
Sounds like the African Queen😂
Lol I remember that movie and agree.
Can't beat the UK 🇬🇧
Campervan going to every place in Thailand what a journey will be hot but it would be nice
Hotels are so cheap in Thailand, I would like to do a van conversion but it's not worth it in Thailand.
