You are a legend!!! My parents called me to see if i could disassemble their roomba and see what was swrong with it, when i stumbled upon this video. I didn't know there was a diagnostic mode, and i confirmed it is indeed the same fan that is making that noise. Thanks a lot!!!
I want to add here, when I oiled my 770 (thank you for the video) I used a bottle of model train oil, which had a tiny tube on top which could fit under the fan, so I didn't need to remove it.
Offtopic but have you ever imagined buying a Roomba 600 series model similar to this particular Roomba and not knowing to do with a for parts Roomba 530? Maybe I would remove the faceplate and put it on that Roomba. But the 670 and roombas with the schedule buttons will not have compatibility with the white screen plate. You can also take the Roomba and replace the bumper and other things with the 530 parts, but it’s a lot harder since if you were to take it apart and will likely cause an error 9 if you’re not careful with the bumper.
I was trying to mix parts from 500 series to 600 series, and for most 600s, like 670 it's nearly all the same, or it just fits and works. Even motherboard. Few pieces still can be a problem tho, like for example the interface panel as you mentioned.
@@robovaccollector Yeah, it’s best that you be careful, especially with the bumper and cliff sensors. If you’re not careful, they could get damaged and cause an error 9 or 6.

I have SilverCrest ssra1, Cecotec Conga 3890 titanium, iRobot Roomba e5, iRobot Roomba 696, Lefant F1, and I also had Sencor srv4250SL.
