    Looks as if the previous owner even went to the fuss of smearing all the parts with mud, then made sure each individual part was taken out and spread over the area it was dumped, very lucky!

    The impressive thing about iRobot’s engineering is the way they make it easy for you to disassemble and make it easy for you to fix any issues at home. I currently had a 800 series roombha from 2013 and had lasted for a very long time. It is still functioning fine. I did recently get the j7 roombha which is also really nice.

    • @josephbennett3482
      @josephbennett3482 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well of course they make it easy , they're not like Apple where they do everything possible to keep their customers from repairing their own stuff themselves , iRobot sells the replacement parts for a specific reason : to make money and to allow the consumer to fix their own robot themselves , they have even made it simple to do the repairs needed so even an inexperienced person can tear apart and fix the robot theirself.

    • @Weeklongwind647
      @Weeklongwind647 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@josephbennett3482 yep exactly what I was saying. Btw you didn’t have to stress making a whole summary essay about what I was saying. But, true. There engineering is impressive and I am always impressed on how long lasting they are.

      @@MatthewDoyle-dm1co yep. Simple simplistic design. Nicely done my man. As an artistic person. I do see the vacuum got some quirks and a bit of a personality of itself. They best thing is that it can avoid objects and can avoid hair tangles most of the time. It’s a great vacuum that you don’t even have to check on or worry about whenever you go to work outside it just automatically cleans your home. It’s great coming back to a clean home. But, there is always room for improvement for the future of robot vacuums.

      Easy! Have you tried replacing the Cliff sensors and charging ports :-) you better have a nice dirty table about three hours worth of work and Plenty to drink, but yet for the most part they're very modular and easy to work on

    I am Japanese. I have the same rumba. I met the same breakdown. Charging error 3. Perhaps if you run out of new batteries, you won't be able to charge them. It is most likely due to a leak from an old battery and a corroded base. The ceramic chip capacitor per C112 C113 on the base of Roomba may be corroded blue. In this case, replacing the same chip capacitor with solder may fix it, but I replace the board. Probably it cannot be charged as it is. Charging error 3.

    Que ha puesto el robot hay, y que más da...que todo es criticable...
    El objetivo final, es que tú le has visitado y has visto su video, poco o mucho y ya con eso has generado que su perfil crezca y genere más contenido así que gracias por ofrecernos este material que por lo menos entretiene.
    Si has puesto el robot en el vertedero y consigues que vuelva a funcionar, olé tus huevos, porque yo no le haría eso a mis productos.

    Great work, great channel, high quality and detailed video, thank you for sharing !!!!
