Well for many years everyone thought it would be Labour or rather his party that would have the first ethnic minority prime minister of the country hes probably disappointed the conservatives have now had a 3 female prime ministers so far and now one non white prime minister by comparison Labour have only ever had white men as leaders and prime ministers.
The intake is also higher so they need more than what they had 10 years ago. They could also reduce crime significantly by decriminalising so called drugs like cannabis, LSD, 2-CB, MDMA, psilocybin & DMT. If that industry was a state-owned industry, the country would make billions & the import of narcotics would self-destruct … You’d also have a very reliable treatment for people with PTSD, drug addiction & poor mental health. Some are being used to treat Parkinson’s Disease (with promising results). The revenue from this wouldn’t just fund the NHS entirely but it would also fund impoverished neighbourhoods throughout the country. It would also fund studies conducive to innovation. Killing the illegal drug trade would stop a lot of crime, here & overseas. Ironically, this would benefit police substantially.

"We did it COVID and we'll do it again" 😂 didn't Britain fudge up that situation royally?!
As a Canadian, we have a very similar system, it's difficult to make others understand why this battle of wit is so important. It's because those who are politically active can listen to both sides and pick whom they'd like to follow. What would others prefer? A unitary system with no debate?
It works for China. And those who disagree are quietly ushered out.
I dunno, Canadian parliament feels like just recycled talking point speeches.
welcome to India my friend
@DeGrate1896 yes, as a british born, i have a problem understanding all what is being said, so how can foreigners do it ? It really seems like a sort of circus

As an american watching this, it's so fascinating to see politicians not attack each other over things like abortion, race, vaccines, science, etc. (things that shouldn't be debated but just are), goes to show how far gone our government is compared to the rest of the world. This is how politics should be.
America still suffer from mass shootings and drug addiction, yet politicians are never questioned on how to fix these issues, maybe besides gun control
Sunak is almost laughing at every question
the speaker is enjoying the entertainment , he is the happiest man in the house
Loved the quotes he said "Leaderships is not selling Fairy Tale" it very strong and remarkable quotes!!
Sunak started stuttering and losing train of thought once Starmer called him out for the recorded clip at the garden party.

This is perfect. Hit your speaking points, throw your jabs, be open about where you stand, all in a language voters understand and appreciate. And if that means a room full of angry dudes in suits screaming at each other and maybe someone throws a shoe or brandishes an axe, that's just fine as well.
Axe throwing? I'm here for it! 🍿🪓
Ironic you mention an axe, the lines dividing the two sides are the exact length of two swords, I’m sure you can summarise as to why

Far better than India's, the indian PM has never answered a single question of people, not a single press conference since he has become the PM, and it's a shame
But you don’t have pmq in India so why do you think narendra ji would answer?
The House of Commons is exactly how a parliamentary democracy should be working. Actual dialogue mixed in with British Humour.

First time seeing how things are done in the UK parliament. Feels like an underground match! Wish I was part of the audience! I would definitely be there for the experience! I can feel the rush of adrelanine in their debate 😲 we should do this in the US and make it like Americas Debate talent show or something, and people would vote the winner 🤣
Always loved me some UK parliament debate….they go hard!
Sir Kier's opening remarks welcoming our new Prime Minister are to be warmly applauded and from what has been seen so far healthy robust exchanges will continue!
50,000 new police officers but they removed 100,000 10 years ago so we’re still missing out
The intake is also higher so they need more than what they had 10 years ago. They could also reduce crime significantly by decriminalising so called drugs like cannabis, LSD, 2-CB, MDMA, psilocybin & DMT. If that industry was a state-owned industry, the country would make billions & the import of narcotics would self-destruct …
You’d also have a very reliable treatment for people with PTSD, drug addiction & poor mental health.
That is how government figures work.

I love how Sunak says at the beginning of the debate that he wants everything to remain civil and then immediately insults the opposing party not but a few sentences later

Regardless, Starmar will let in unlimited and unverified immigrants into the country.
Same BS different Tory
How can Sunak blame Truss for this economy, when she was in charge for 6 weeks & he ran the economy for 2 years,up until 3 months ago?
In 6 weeks pound witnessed record fall. Who needs to be accounted for that. Liz or Sunak. Anyway I don't see Britan growth in near future irrespective of leader even from the labour party. You guys decided to fight American war against Russia. Now the consequence is you guys are facing higher energy bills. Unless Russia sells it's gas as it used to do pre war there will be no way that oil and gas price will reduce and your inflation will not going to be dropped. Enjoying fighting others wars.
Because the world is in a dangerous economic moment and Truss decided to drop all tax rates. Sunak warned her against doing that as he said it would collapse the pound on the housing market… she did it anyway.
So yes, you can collapse an economy in 6 weeks and she did it.
@@sakalasiva lol - the UK only got around 4% of its gas from Russia and 9% Oil, it’s the EUs extra appetite for it raising costs. Even if the UK had stayed neutral interest rates would have risen as they have across Europe.
@@jameshall9654 You are right about UK not relying on Russian oil and gas but that does not shield it from the lack of Russian fuel in the market. There is now a greater demand for the fuel where UK gets it from and so the prices have gone up.
