Fun fact: if your fed up with a small backpack at the start and are feeling pay2win, you can buy the DLC' outfits, grab all them from your mail box and that bumps it up to 120 spaces.
I am excited for the game! And thanks for the tips! I like how they changed up combat, the mining mechanic, and other gameplay implementations such as the sandstorm. The character design is better, and I am looking forward to the multiplayer beta tests coming here soon. Adding that alone will be an amazing feature when fleshed out.
There's a main quest at Day 14 that you need 10 glass for. I didn't have/make it in time and it failed so now I don't know if my playthrough is FUBAR or not.
I enjoyed My Time at Portia for a while until it started to become more tedious than fun. There were a couple of things like purposeless items that gave the feeling the game was not really finished. I hope this title is more complete and respects the players' time more.
Yea still hate they basically abandoned My time at portia for this so not gonna support this game at all until they can show they fully complete their games.
Didn't play Portia but still is. More or less I dunno. I am only allowed to have 1 single task at a time but there's like 5 on the board... Anger activated. I always want to do ALL tasks but it doesn't allow that. Item gated as well. I cannot possibly get certain items or I have to pay severap hundred that I don't have. Can't craft and sell certain things because the basic item is overpriced...
i had to stop playing because the way saving works. i just can't focus on a game for that long sometimes, and i like being able to leave my game whenever i want but not lose progress. being able to save any time has made sandrock MILES more enjoyable than portia for me. it's a huge difference for someone like me. i have adhd and some other things so yea it's vital to me to be able to save at any time
So we are stuck after the geekos mission and we can’t figure out how to get graphite for steel bars looked everywhere can’t find what you call the quarry and we need steel bars to fix the bridge to get to the second place you can acquire iron ore or graphite
1. Go to the Eufaula Salvage Yard. 2. There is a huge bus in the middle of the yard (inside the fenced area). Breakdown the bus with a bronze pick hammer. You will receive iron scraps. 3. Put the Iron scraps in a Civil Recycler. You can get the civil recycler by giving data discs to Qi. He will send you a diagram in a few days and you will have to build it. This is how you get steel bars.
i just got the full release today. could someone please tell me how to leave the game when I'm done playing? I cannot find the quit button. thank you so much1
Yea I doubt it will be since the fact this game is coming out and My time at portia isn’t exactly a finished game yet while they seemingly abandoned portia for this i’d expect this to stay incomplete and unpolished for years.
@maximumoverdrive7554 To you. However idk what the updates brought since my year or so of not playing Sandrock. Both are good games to me and I see no reason to drag one through the mud.
Nice channel name. One character is a morph of Ash and Wolverine. And no, I don't post posters. I know it is going to be better. I know, I know..oh wow. it will get better. Get your machines up and running fast. Tin and Bronze shows up at the Salvage Store not the Blacksmith. Do not waste time in the mine early. It will ruin your production time. Thanks for the review.
Well, not tryna sound like a hater but I'm sad they didn't fix my biggest gripes with the first game. Everything is so slow. Walking around is so tedious and uninteresting. It just feels like everything is in slow motion. Combat is supposed to be secondary, but even so, it is extremelly clunky. This legit looks like a re skin of the first game.
Your tips are very good however I am disappointed that your title (in caps) is STARTER GUIDE - yet your actual start is after the Recycler -not really a starter guide sorry
That's my problem with these type of games is the lack of realism when collecting items, for example your pockets should have a limit so you should need a wagon or something
i hate when bag space is limited, it's a game not real life i want to have fun and not worry about running out of space. frustrating as hell to run out of space
Don't watch how to and tips and tricks ,just play the game blind and have fun, why kill a game of puzzles with all the answers writen down, it's a nice young person game with easy casual ... puzzles building game , don't spoil IT. . no thumbs up or down , just enjoy the game ,and let it surprise you . my opinion.
Like many sequels. If you liked the first game, then you will enjoy the sequel because it is another building, farming, town simulation in the same universe. With enough changed to make it not exactly the same game. Not sure what people are expecting.

Some good tips here. One thing to worth mentioning to new players is that to enter Eufaula Salvage, a weekly payment of 200 gold is required.

Wow! I never knew this was being made, I loved the first one, even though it had it's issues in the Switch. It still had a lot of charm for me.
It was pretty unplayable for me on the switch. Hope this one functions a lot better if it gets a switch release.
@galaxypod9123 all the console ports were bad they weren't done in house.
The switch is getting a much needed update from the actual team
Thanks for the tips! I am super looking forward to playing this game!
Those were excellent tips thanks :)

Great guide, thank you!

I played the heck out of portia but yea the game and story felt unfinished like they ran out of time.

@@gucciguy3408they didn't abandon it lmfao the console ports were made by a different developer who did 😂
Thanks dude!

thank-you, much appreciated
Good video. 9 mins went by quickly.

Can you fish in this game? I know it's set in the desert but still hoping...
Yes, but it's alittle different. You fish in the sand with this weird claw thing.
how do you sandfish?
I love the first one i hope it come to xbox dont wanna turn on my potato pc
This game more polished then the last one?

This is day 0 of early access, so no not yet.
No matter what I do...I cannot turn any commission in. Stand in front of t he person, have all the stuff....just no option.
this looks way better than rune factory 5. they really bungled that one
Didn't play it yet but I probably disagree. RF4 at least was great and I can't see them straying from the formula too much andmessing it up that bad
@@ArmisHartRF5 has nothing on sandrock unless you can't shake the nostalgia

Still think this should be a DLC...

That doesn’t bother me so much but to your point I think a book bag that you carry around could be cool maybe?
Get Kenshi.

run around and clean up trash. this game is even more of a waste of time than their first game.
It looks sad, wasting your time on this game.
Why waste your time writing a comment like this?
