@@LetzPlayK Yep! That's why I kinda stopped sorting my boxes (which I usually always do) because that "sort all" button does it all for you anyway. It's rare that I manually have to take something out of any box, so I can live with the chaos hahaha.
One thing I recently learned through playing, is when you open a chest and click sort all on your bag, it will place your items into any storage boxes that has the same item, even if that isn't the chest you opened. So if I have a copper bar in a metal box, but open the wood and sort, it will put all my copper bars in that metal box!! so neat :D
Tip about storage boxes. As stamina and wood are important for other things the first week, talk to Arvio and he gives you a 50% discount for the first week. Use this to buy the storage boxes, he has one every day and they have more slots than the one you can make on the workbench.
In addition to the "cloud storage" working for your assembly station and workbench, it also works for turning commissions in. If the items are in your storage or inventory, or spread between both, if the total fulfills a commission requirement, you can turn it in without running back to pick up the items from your workshop. Saves you a lot of running. A bunch of times now I've picked up a commission from the board because I knew I had some bronze bars in my storage and was able to just run straight to the person who posted the commission to turn in so I could get on with collecting resources or ruin diving rather than having to go back home and spend time crafting for the commission. The other tip is when you get the quest to learn how to ride a horse, do it right away. You'll get the use of a horse for a week for free, and thereafter, I promise you'll spend the money to rent one a week at a time until you can afford to get a stable and buy your own horse. It makes life SO much easier.
I wondered about the cloud storage for commissions, thanks for verfiying. As an alternative to spending the money to rent a horse(I'd rather wait and buy one and have a stable) I'd say use the Yakmel Cart to get around. It's cheap and will get you to the other side of town quickly.

These tips are great. I just started playing it and got the Collector's Edition. My mistake that after redeeming the codes and opening the mail box, do not accept the gifts. They will fill up your inventory and won't be able get rid of them. Wait until you get the storages before opening the gifts.

Then proceeded to look it up and make sure he was romanceable. I've actually owned it since it came out for PS5 but just started playing it this past weekend really. This game is so good.

Hi, when I think of a desert setting, my biggest concern is water, so is getting water easy in this game? You can get it on Steam right? I heard about this game earlier this month so it's got me interested (and the romance option is a huge pull for me), but that was just one concerned I have. Stardew Valley is one of my fav indie games (I am working on getting 100% of that game finally lol), so I am looking at games like it more, like I plan on getting Coral Island while it's in early access. But yeah when getting a new game I really value early tips, it saves me time. Do all of these tips still apply now? I hear the game is also still in early access so I was curious.
I haven’t played in a little while but love the game and I think all of these tips should still apply! Water can be collected or bought! It’s expensive early game so that makes it difficult. But you can craft machines that help you collect water and that’s fun!
So far water hasn't been too hard to keep up with but I just started. When you collect various plants you can randomly get dew. You can also get the plans to make a dew collector and there are skills that also help you collect more. Or just make bank and buy it. Burgess is also the giy who manages the water so it might be good to become friends with him. I haven't started farming yet so this may change. But to be honest I hate farming when there are so many more interesting things to do.
Just so you know you can right click on items to move them to storage boxes instead of dragging the item.
