I'd really like to see these lights running the deep blues. I enjoy a full spectrum during the day but the last two hours I like the black light look. Interested in getting these for my tank!
Hello Kalama, continuing happy holidays and happy new year. I have an Apex Ex and I want to know if you can demonstrate how the LEDs Reefi Uno 2.0 pro are connected to your APEX, if you need any accessories to be connected to your Apex?
@@olavodejesuspires4801 I don’t have them connected to my Apex. The last time I had lights connected to my Apex, the Apex failed on my first day of a two week vacation, and the lights did not reactivate, and everything died. Now I distribute my essential gear so that it is not all hooked into the Apex. Everything being hooked up to one single mainframe represents a single point of failure, in my opinion. I learned the danger of it firsthand! Happy new year to you too, friend. Have a great day!
@@kalamazoo_reefer - It is true I agree. I just want to know one more thing, the LEDs can have the cycle day and night automatically through Wi-Fi, or do we have to program ?
Beautiful tank mate. Do you feel having 3 reefi is too much or are you doing it for the coverage? I have a 48" tank like yours and daniel suggested 2 reefis. Just curious!
I stopped trusting the Hanna pen. It would drift out of calibration within a week or less, for me. I use an old school refractometer, and calibrate it every other week using calibration fluid dialed in to 1.026sg.
It's crazy the uno 2.1 is even better, they're the best lights on the market.

Check out ReeFi’s channel! I bet they’ve posted some with deep blue showcased.

A really good light.

2 would probably do it for many applications. But I do it to get super even SPS coverage.
What do you use to test salinity? Was wondering if i can calibrate the Hanna tester with distilled water
