Quite late but, you can clip through the rock (my wacky head forgot) and end up closer to the exit gate that leads to byrg, still, same strat.
If someone, like me, messed up the part at 0:38 the first time and fell through the ground just quit out and load the game again. You will pretty much spawn at the same position you have to stand.
Really good point. Sometimes you can get an Infinite fall tho :(

@@thenewbladerunner Isn't that why we back up the game to USB or the Cloud in the first place? You can even save while you're outside the map, so just back up a save file of your character before you position yourself to make the final jump before the invisible wall.
make sure the root that you're running against is positioned at the middle of the screen, so that the right jump is accurate

For anyone trying it in 2021, on the second jump (when you have to drift to the left and then jump to the right) if you go too far left you'll fall through the map. It takes a long ass time to die and when you do you go all the way to the Hunter's Dream.
If you start falling through the map, quit the game and reload. You'll be back right where you fell off, so you can try again immediately.

Was going through probably my 15th playthrough in my main file and I was sick and tired of the SoY. And watching this helped me do my first ever glitch in bloodborne. And hopefully soon I can speedrun this. Thank you!

Nice guide, took about 15 minutes, most of that was making the second jump. I was too far left so my left shoulder touched the small root. When I centred, it worked third time
I love this glitch, I'm really bad at fighting multiple boss-type enemies at once so this really helps

Just attempted this in a new file as of August 8, 2023, I didnt watch to the end of the video so when I got into the boss arena I got confused as to why they were working so I used a bold hunters mark, then did the out of bounds glitch again and it worked, thank you for allowing me to not suffer to these guys anymore.
Tip:
If you fall under the ground at the tree close the game and reload you will spawn back

Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you! These guys are next to impossible on new game plus. I was about ready to quit because of this boss battle. The jump up by the rock took a little while to pull off, but once I did, it worked perfectly.
At least the first jump isnt that hard like the big tree version

I had to come back and watch this again, this is my favorite glitch for no reason. I need help.
My character gets all the way behind the wall, then I try to jump, and he does the "bump into an object" animation like he's stunned and falls down. Maybe I am trying a split second too early?
I wanted to try it just to see if it works. It does. Also maybe it's because I already have practice doing glitches but this one was pretty easy to pull off. Hardest part was that jump to the right after you start moving left while sprinting.

Man you're the best, I did the glitch to skip the tutorial and open the short cut to the forbidden woods and I needed to defeat the shadows faster and this totally worked, thanks so much
Now I have TWO skips to speed through the Forbidden Woods. Not like I want to, the place is great for echoes and twin shards.

I'm stuck in the tree where I have to jump quickly, do you have any tips?
Make sure you are "wedged" in the tree, its kinda weird to explain but your character should be able to run smoothly and not be shaking about. the next jump is the hardest part. Start sprinting at the tree, slowly turn to the left and as your character starts slipping off you jump hard right. It took me ages to get. let me know if that helps

The shadows are easy if u call for an AI and while the mage and the fire guy focus him , u kill the sword shadow and finish the other ones together so no need for glitches

Man I keep hitting a wall when jumping right and I fall I feel like I'm in the exact position, but I still jump hard right and I hit a wall and fall. I will not give up !!!! Lol beat the game alot of times. Just trying to get all the glitches down for possible speed runs.

Do you know how i can get out of the infinite void because when i was doing the jump from the big tree to the right i went into the void and didn´t left the game in time and because of that i am in a loop were if i rejoin the safe file i am still in the void instead of the tree
You let your character fall until it hits the bottom, it takes a while but you die and go back to the lamp

First Attempt: I jumped to the left instead of the right, then I fell to my death :-(
Update: After several attempts I'd say after each step, upload a back up of your save and then download it if you fail.
Bro just quit out if you are falling you will spawn there again
@@yasinkaradogan9653 It's still possible to get into an infinite death loop - where the game snapshots your position on a piece of geometry which it considers "standable" on, even though it has no collision mesh.
You _should_ either save/and or back up the game as a matter of course either way, but the best places to do it are:
1) Just before you start, obviously.
2) After you get outside the map the first time. Save and backup.
3) After you complete the second jump. Not just because its a little difficult to get the timing down, but you can get an infinite falling glitch that quitting out will not help you with. Save and back up here, in case you hit some weird geometry before the SoY boss room.
4) Just before you jump down into the boss room next to the tombstone. BOTH save and back up here, just in case:
-a) You hit some weird geometry on the way down and get stuck, preventing you from getting into the boss room and trapping you there if you save the game. (Though you _can_ just Bold Hunter's Mark out)
-b) You save too late after the boss HP bars show up and their AI is active when you reload.
-c) You're doing _both_ the SoY skip _and_ you're planning keeping them alive as you progress into Byrgenwerth. Because even if you push one of the inactive Shadows to the boss fog before you kill them and run through, you still have a _very_ tight window to reach the set of stairs and save the game _before_ you get the Caryll Rune/Blood Echoes, which will save the game immediately. If you see the Rune/Echoes show up at all before you've closed the game, you've ruined it and will have to back up and try again.
I mean, backing up your saves just in case costs you nothing but 30s of your time - you might as well, just in case. Plus, if you plan on getting the best Blood Gems you'll probably be save scumming to prevent yourself from needless wasting your time doing an entire Depth 5 F/R/C Ihyll or Isz just to get garbage. Never hurts to be cautious.
@@DeltafangEX yeah i know that. That you can still fall into your Death. But Bro come on Even if you fall. There is the Checkpoint and the short cut to get there again. Dont make things too complicated.

What is the secret of jumping up by the tree (the first Jump). I can jump to the left behind the grave stone but can't jump to the tree so I can make the second jump towards the wall

When you’re at 0:38 and start falling into the void, don’t quit out too soon or you’ll end in a loop of falling every time you exit and go back into the game, if you do end up in a loop just wait a while, eventually your character will die and respawn in the hunters dream.
