@@anteel_almahalla Nioh is not a souls game, the only similarity it has is the shrine system, that's it, the game focus more on technical aspect and tools (ninjutsu/onmyo) having fun with multiple builds with forgiving re-specialization, easy to acces dungeon so you can fight same boss, enemies hundreds of times to practice/learn their move and best approach, it's a game intended for long, repeated play, i am quite amused by the amount of contents this game have, this game is massive, and i keep coming back trying new build and experimenting, it's like grim dawn if you know that game. I loved it
Hi, I'm new to nioh, I got it via PS+ and Ive seen videos where people choose Odachi or Tonfa. I was limited to my choices with axe spear Kata a dual Kata a and kusarigama. How do u get Odachi and Tonfa choices? Please help. I haven't finished the game yet either
Just use spear anyway. It’s the easiest and safest option. Or you could be like me and be a stubborn ass who uses kusarigama and katana and tears my hair out at every turn
I wish there was a faster way, for me to farm Amrita. I am still on the Deep in the Shadows mission. Only at the second shrine. And can’t build Amrita very fast. I got about 35,000 banked though. Might see how long I can go before going nuts lol.
I stayed in the last part of Deep in the Shadows (the cave with the last shrine before the boss). Stayed down there until I leveled up to around 30, boosting stamina to carry better armor, then between body, majik, & strength. Made the game so much easier.
For a noob player I would recommend having as many Amrita Earned type bonuses, using a spirit guardian that increases amrita earned, drinking the amrita boosting sake, and extraction talismans. Then find what works for you in terms of killing enemies swiftly. I prefer dual swords using the Kingo set armor but find what works for you
Better to simply rush through to the highest difficulty level where you can get millions of amrita by praying at an alter. Even then, going from 500 to 750 is a grind

1) Looks like the amrita spell, carnage (less def more att), and a water for stamina. 2) When you kill something it gives amrita, which recharges the gauge a bit. 3) With Suzaku guardian if you're in critical your LW gauge fills up slowly, he wanted to use LW as soon as possible. Also, you'll notice he has stones in his quick bar, so he can get amrita during those long times without kills, which again refills the gauge a bit. 4) You can be even more amazing, this actually isn't all too impressive tbh. Way of the demon gives close to 1 million per enemy, and I haven't even tried Way of the Nioh yet, I'm guessing it's even higher. Last night I started Way of the Demon and lost 20 million, and was so sad, and then after like 5 minutes I had it back, so it wasn't a big deal. I should also mention there's another level in the DLC, even higher levels and more amrita than this, and you get two stronger followers, so it's known as the easiest level to farm amrita.
i think zthis will no longer be needed, but i felt the urge to post it: 1) Extraction Talisman - to get amrita everytime you hit an enemy, Sake for more amrita gain, carange talisman for more attack power 2) in the beginning iirc cotrect before patch 1.06 the timing for the darin of the living weapon was different if you had stacked enough amrita gain you could have the so called infinite living weapon After that patch the LW-drain after the 3rd amrita absorption to recharge the living weapon would stop to increase and those builds were no longer possible. 3) if your helath is in critical condition (below 30%) the drain of the living weapon is slower 4) after the 3 dlc's and if you conquer way of the nioh and the abyss you will be even more powerful - but that build is no longer possible

Just complete that difficulty mode (by completing The Queen's Eyes) to unlock further difficulty, the level cap would increase to 550. And again after Way of the Wise, level cap will be 750.
I'm also in the clan that increases the time a living weapon is active as well as having The Guardian max leveled at 30. Besides that all the info i could give is the final minutes of the video.

I dont know if the level up system change since that but yesterday for example i was farming rare revenants with the sake of course, in 1 round i get (i wrote it) 156 576 565 of amrita, and i just can level up 1 or 3 levels not 10.
When you equip the Phoenix every time he killed an enemy it regenerates the bar, also he raised his spirit level to 25 which was/is the cap. It’s been like 2 years since I’ve played.

With Nioh having been free on PS4 here just a month or two ago, I decided to add it to my collection. I was pumped to try this, seeing that it was done with only 160 +9 gear on way of the strong. Then I saw something. At level 262 (or something like that, not totally sure what level I am but 260 something for sure) it takes over 20 million amrita to level up 1 level. When the end comes and it is time to level up it was only charging you 10 million and it didn't change or get more expensive as you leveled each new level. Now I have to question the legitimacy of this video. Perhaps, back in 2017 things were different, but I doubt it was so massively different that the cost of leveling was that far off from what it is now. I mean we are talking (based at the cost of a level at the 260's) hundreds of millions of amrita per level, if not into the billions (the number I saw that I believe is roughly 1.5 trillion needed overall for max level). So take note if you are a new player like me that this is not, at least currently, a valid video imo.

BlackStar 〉〈 If the run is completed quickly thats roughly 10 levels every 10 mins(the level up cost caps at 10 million). So 60 levels every hour means about 10 hours of farming will get you to max level!
It's funny because after coming back to the game 3 years later (never did the DLCs, I taught is was the time to do them after Nioh 2), I get like 30 million exp killing one mob.

You gotta finish the game first then start new game plus for green item drops. but last boss on the main story should drop green items when you beat it
I’m actually at lv106 now an I’m doing that quest daemon king a lot on normal playthru cuz I haven’t beat that final main story boss when ya go back to that castle place
He's already a very high level and has run this level and pretty all others many times so he remembers where to go and what to do. You can't compare a newbie vs someone who has played hundreds or a thousand hours of the same game. Is he good? Yes, but he's also very overpowered at this point. Also by the "white wolf" You mean Nue the lighting demon boss? Just summon a visitor, there are many who can easily solo him like myself. A tip, if you're bad at a boss, don't be a hero, let the visitor take care of it. The last thing they need is to worry about keeping you alive if you decide to Leeroy Jenkins a boss while not knowing a thing about it. If you understand his mechanics and can dodge his attacks meanwhile contributing then go for it. Once past Nue, the game gets a tad more manageable and as the game progresses you can get stronger and have more skills. The hardest part about Nioh is up to Nue imo, the rest gets "easier".
I’ve watched this and still have no idea how he does it. I’ve tried wearing a full set that all have amerita boost, I have the magic that grants you extra amerita, I’ve tried following this video to a T but I can only take in about 20000000 amerita at a time.
What playthrough are you on? Higher NG reward more amrita. I believe he said he's on new game plus.. There is a far faster method that nets you over 800m a run if you're on way of the nioh

You can get around level 320/330 using that method, that's how I did it, and then started doing marobashi because I needed text to forge armors and weapons which I suggest you to do
Not really living weapon builds are pretty much done nerfed out the ass, but if you're talking about amrita yeah its still,viable almost every difficulty you always farm either "Giant Frog Brawl" or "Demon King Revealed" for amrita :P Also even if you get PS+ you need to buy the DLC/add ons sadly but its not that expensive 25$ = all 3 DLC about the same price as a PS+ anyways

109mil in 9 min? on way of the demon you can kill frog in side mission for around 16mil run and with loading it takes around 50 sec in and out which makes it around 170 mil per 9 minutes just sayin
It's useless living weapon. Use paralyzing bomb, katana and hinoemna kabuto (get more damage to paralyzed enimies). Now you can do marobashi mission and easily get million of amrita
Nothing screams absolute power like deleting bosses and enemies in a matter of seconds.
All things aside, Nioh is fking awesome :) Only wishing for a greater variety of monsters

how do you keep your live weapon active for so long? is it necessary to raise the level of the spirit? is it necessary to raise the guardian spirit?
Mainly because he absorbs the Amrita that monsters drop when killed, so this reset your Living Weapon and can keep active as long you absorbs Amrita.

Didn't this get patched out? Or am I thinking of the ghost of sawayama? I know that that's the one I used for farming before it was nerfed.

You need to buy all dlcs
so if I was wondering if I could use spells while in living weapon mode I guess the answer is a resounding yes...

In endgame you can farm over 50 billion per mission (2 minutes)

Once past Nue, the game gets a tad more manageable and as the game progresses you can get stronger and have more skills. The hardest part about Nioh is up to Nue imo, the rest gets "easier".
I’ve watched this and still have no idea how he does it. I’ve tried wearing a full set that all have amerita boost, I have the magic that grants you extra amerita, I’ve tried following this video to a T but I can only take in about 20000000 amerita at a time.
What playthrough are you on? Higher NG reward more amrita. I believe he said he's on new game plus.. There is a far faster method that nets you over 800m a run if you're on way of the nioh

I reached lvl 400 and cannot lvl up anymore. Do I have to beat a certain difficulty to be able to lvl up higher? Im on wotd
You need to kill the last boss to enter a new way, last time i played i was in way of demon which is the hardest that was when the game came out

You had to dump your points into only a few skills.
Other wise the highest you can go is 120 in each skill.

Yes you can, but he play at very low difficulty, i think he is not even on way of the strong, there are 3 more levels

If you have the setup, yes I can't do it on way of the wise, only but it does its work in way of the demon too
You can get around level 320/330 using that method, that's how I did it, and then started doing marobashi because I needed text to forge armors and weapons which I suggest you to do

@@bohoffman816 I don't know if you have to buy it, but I can tell you that the dlcs unlock a new difficulty and a new rarity of weapons
Not really living weapon builds are pretty much done nerfed out the ass, but if you're talking about amrita yeah its still,viable almost every difficulty you always farm either "Giant Frog Brawl" or "Demon King Revealed" for amrita :P
Also even if you get PS+ you need to buy the DLC/add ons sadly but its not that expensive 25$ = all 3 DLC about the same price as a PS+ anyways

109mil in 9 min? on way of the demon you can kill frog in side mission for around 16mil run and with loading it takes around 50 sec in and out which makes it around 170 mil per 9 minutes just sayin

It's useless living weapon.
Use paralyzing bomb, katana and hinoemna kabuto (get more damage to paralyzed enimies).
Now you can do marobashi mission and easily get million of amrita
